[SET COMMENTS]
Tangela is an amazing physical wall thanks to its immense Eviolite-boosted physical bulk backed by Regenerator. This combination allows it to consistently absorb the hits of physical attackers such as Silvally-Ground, Sawk, and Kangaskhan and regain the lost health by switching out. Giga Drain is the preferred STAB move for its additional recovery. Leaf Storm can be used instead for a powerful nuke, especially against Knock Off users like Sawk and Alolan Persian; the Special Attack drop isn't that crippling, as Tangela enjoys pivoting to regain HP with Regenerator. Knock Off lets Tangela cripple its checks such as Centiskorch, Rotom-S, and Articuno. Sleep Powder lets Tangela neutralize a foe to make pivoting easier, whereas Toxic puts walls that can otherwise take advantage of Tangela, such as Miltank, Audino, and Uxie, on a timer. Sludge Bomb lets Tangela threaten Grass-types such as Shiftry and Flapple, which take little from Tangela's other moves and are immune to Sleep Powder and Leech Seed. Synthesis is Tangela's most reliable recovery move, letting it more comfortably check Choice Band Sawk and Kangaskhan, but Leech Seed can be used as an alternative, providing recovery to Tangela and chipping down its checks.

Tangela is a great choice for many teams, ranging from stall to bulky offense, and it appreciates being paired with special walls such as Galarian Stunfisk, Wishiwashi, and Clefairy. In particular, Audino is an amazing specially defensive partner that is able to form a Regenerator core with Tangela. Partners such as Qwilfish, Cramorant, and Altaria can handle Fire-types like Centiskorch and Ninetales for Tangela, while it can take on the likes of Kangaskhan and Silvally-Ghost for them. Knock Off absorbers such as Silvally-Ground and Miltank are appreciated to preserve Tangela's Eviolite. Entry hazard supports from the likes of Uxie, Piloswine, and Clefairy is appreciated by Tangela, as it can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from checks like Altaria, Centiskorch, and Rotom-S, which are pressured by Stealth Rock without their item. Wallbreakers such as Thievul, Sawk, and Basculin value Tangela's ability to sponge hits for them when they are forced out.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Tangela can run an offensive spread with a Modest nature, which makes it less passive while still being able to check most physical attackers. However, Tangela's coverage is narrow and can be easily walled; it's also forced to use Synthesis more often to maintain its HP. Stun Spore is an alternative over Sleep Powder or Toxic to paralyze foes, but crippling a foe with sleep or poison is usually preferred.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Attackers**: Tangela has an abysmal special bulk and can be 2HKOed by almost any unresisted special attack. In particular, special attackers like Rotom-S and Skuntank have a great matchup against Tangela and can easily OHKO it. Strong special wallbreakers like Basculin are even able to break through Tangela with resisted attacks.

**Item Removal**: Without its Eviolite, Tangela is unable to reliably counter some physical attackers like Sawk. This is troublesome,(AC) as Tangela is often the preferred switch-in for common Knock Off users such as Sawk, Shiftry, and Cinccino.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Centiskorch, Rapidash, and Ninetales can break through Tangela's huge physical bulk with their super effective STAB moves. However, they dislike losing their Heavy-Duty Boots to Knock Off.

**Ice-types**: Articuno and Froslass threaten Tangela with their super effective STAB moves, while Frosmoth can use Tangela as setup fodder. They have to be wary of getting their item removed by Knock Off, though.

**Ferroseed**: Ferroseed is a unique special wall that tanks all of Tangela's disruptive coverage moves and punishes it with entry hazards and Knock Off. Although Tangela can remove Ferroseed's Eviolite with Knock Off, it ultimately struggles to handle Ferroseed by itself.

Tangela is an amazing physical wall thanks to its immense Eviolite boosted physical bulk backed up by Regenerator. Giga Drain is the preferred STAB move for its additional recovery (add leaf storm here). Knock Off lets Tangela cripple number of its counters such as Centiskorch, Rotom-S, and Vanilluxe. Sleep Powder lets Tangela neutralize a foe during several turns to ease switch-ins (Sleep lasts only a couple turns, which in practice makes it most reliable for pivoting), whereas Toxic puts walls that can take advantage of Tangela, such as Miltank, Audino, and Uxie on a timer. On the other hand, Sludge Bomb lets Tangela threaten Grass-types such as Shiftry and Flapple, that take little from Tangela's other moves and are immune to Sleep Powder and Leech Seed. Synthesis is Tangela's most reliable recovery move, letting it more comfortably recover on Choice Band Sawk and Kangaskhan, but Leech Seed can be used as an alternative, providing recovery to Tangela and chipping its checks.

Tangela is a great choice for every team from stall to bulky offense, and it appreciates to be complimented with a special wall such as Audino Galarian Stunfisk, Wishiwashi, and Clefairy so they can take on each other's weaknesses. (Make an entire sentence here why Audino is a particularly good partner to form a Regenerator core; the popularity of this core is worth having its own point to highlight) Fire-type checks such as Qwilfish, Cramorant, and Altaria make for great partners that can handle the likes of Centiskorch and Ninetales for Tangela, while Tangela can handle the likes of Lycanroc, Kangaskhan, and Silvally-Ghost for them. Knock Off absorbers such as Silvally-Ground and Miltank are enjoyed by Tangela to preserve its Eviolite. (Mention entry hazard support works hand-in-hand with Tangela as it often uses Knock Off against Heavy-Duty-Boots switch-ins like Rotom-S and Altaria, which then become pressured by Stealth Rock.)

Leaf Storm is Tangela's strongest move, heavily damaging non Grass resistant attackers such as Kangaskhan, Rotom, and Sawk. However, it lacks the recovery of Giga Drain and the Special Attack drop can make Tangela exploitable. (Move above) Tangela can run an offensive spread with a Modest nature, it makes it less passive while still being able to check most physical attackers, however its coverage is narrow, letting it easily walled and it's forced to recover with Synthesis more often. Stun Spore is an alternative over Sleep Powder and Toxic to paralyze foes, however sleep and poison are preferred status for Tangela.

Checks and Counters

**Special Attackers**: Tangela has such an abysmal special bulk, that almost any unresisted special attack is able to at least 2HKO Tangela. (Mention examples of special attackers like Rotom-S and Skuntank that have great matchups against it, and also mention how even resisted hits from special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Basculin and Magneton are capable of breaking Tangela)

**Item removal**: Without its Eviolite, Tangela is unable to reliably counter some physical attackers such as Lycanroc and Sawk. (This is more troubling as Tangela is often used as a switch-in to Knock Off users like Sawk, Shiftry, ect.)

**Fire- and Ice-types**: Fire- and Ice-types such as Centiskorch, Rapidash, and Froslass can break through Tangela's huge physical bulk with their super effective STAB moves. (Add that Frosmoth uses Tangela as setup fodder) However, they dislike switching into Tangela's Knock Off and losing their Heavy-Duty Boots.

**Ferroseed**: (Ferroseed is a unique special wall that tanks all of Tangela's disruptive coverage and punishes with entry hazards. The two both have access to Knock Off so the item removal is a mutual threat, but ultimately Tangela cannot deal with Ferroseed by itself)

QC 1/2! Fleshed out the teammates sections with some points I felt like it needed, as well as added more examples to checks and counters. Also made Leaf Storm a full on slash. I've used Leaf Storm a lot and really enjoy the immediate power, while the SpA drop isn't too worrisome when Tangela is meant to constantly switch anyways. As always, good work and thank you!
