Tangela distinguishes itself from Eldegoss in NU as a Regenerator wall by boasting higher physical bulk and having Knock Off, giving it better matchups against physical attackers such as Sandaconda, Golurk, and Choice Band Basculin. Regenerator keeps Tangela healthy and lets it repeatedly pivot into battle, providing more opportunities for it to utilize Sleep Powder to cripple switch-ins like Toxicroak, Weezing, and Silvally-Dragon. Knock Off allows Tangela to punish walls like Miltank and Ferroseed that carelessly switch into it. The sheer power of Leaf Storm lets Tangela OHKO Sandaconda and deal substantial damage to other foes, although Giga Drain can be utilized to allot Tangela with additional recovery. Sludge Bomb serves as Tangela's best method of hitting Grass-resistant and -immune foes like Eldegoss, Silvally-Dragon, and Sap Sipper Miltank, while Leech Seed allows it to accumulate residual damage on the opposing defensive core and provides an extra source of recovery for both itself and its teammates.

Tangela primarily fits on balance and bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to switch into physical Water- and Ground-types repeatedly. General special walls like Clefairy and Lanturn form a solid defensive core with Tangela, handling threats such as the Rotom formes. Wallbreakers and sweepers such as Toxicroak and Rapidash appreciate Tangela threatening checks such as Sandaconda, Galarian Stunfisk, and Golurk; in turn, they can pressure its checks such as Abomasnow and Miltank. The aforementioned Ground-types are also good partners for Tangela, alleviating its weakness to common Poison-types like Toxicroak, Weezing, and Garbodor; Sandaconda and Galarian Stunfisk also absorb Toxic from foes such as Miltank.

move order on this should be Sleep Powder / Knock Off / Leaf Storm or Giga Drain / Sludge Bomb or Leech Seed imo

evs may get discussed further later but wanted to make sure this bit was changed at least

There are more relevant foes you can mention that are checked by Tangela; it's not a particularly tall task to check Sandaconda and Galarian Stunfisk. Perhaps Choice Band Basculin could be a replacement to one of those.

Sludge Bomb doesn't really target Clefairy; it's there so Eldegoss doesn't beat you one-on-one with Pollen Puff and also can punish Sap Sipper Miltank (and Silvally-Dragon, sure) with poison. Make sure to fix the sentence so that you aren't saying Miltank resists Grass, though; Sap Sipper variants are immune to it.

I feel like this first paragraph still reads a bit too much like a budget Moves section on a full-length analysis. I would try to restructure it so that your sentences read more like you're addressing how to use Tangela while still making mention of what the moves do (for instance, an issue I have right now is that you don't really make note of how Regenerator lets Tangela repeatedly switch into battle to check the foes it does. What can Tangela do with all these switch opportunities?)

---

There's probably a more relevant special attacker you could mention than Rotom-F.

Togedemaru isn't a wallbreaker or sweeper; it's a revenge killer (you could call it a late-game cleaner I guess, although that's pretty context dependent.)

Let me know when you've implemented this so I can take a second look.

Rabia i tried to change the wording in the first para to address your points. Could you take a second look?

maybe make the sentence about Knock Off sound more like a "how to use" thing, i.e. note how Knock Off punishes walls like Ferroseed and Miltank (Cofagrigus isn't a great example here given it commonly forgoes an item) if they switch into it

QC 1/2 when that's done

Tangela finds a solid niche in NU as a physical wall, thanks to its ability Regenerator and plentiful utility options giving it favorable matchups against common foes such as Sandaconda, Golurk, and Choice Band Basculin (try to fit in an Eldegoss comparison in this first sentence, with Tang's better phys bulk and utility in Knock giving it a niche over the other higher-ranked physdef mono grass regenerator wall... the similarity of the two yet goss's better viability justifies the immediate comparison). Regenerator keeps Tangela healthy and lets it repeatedly pivot into battle, providing more opportunities for it to utilize Sleep Powder to cripple switch-ins from foes like Toxicroak, Weezing, and Silvally-Dragon. Knock Off allows Tangela to punishes walls like Miltank and Ferroseed that carelessly switches into it. The sheer power of Leaf Storm is preferred, OHKOing Sandaconda and dealing substantial damage to other foes, although Giga Drain can be utilized to allot Tangela with additional recovery. Sludge Bomb serves as Tangela's best method of hitting Grass-resistant and immune foes like Eldegoss, Silvally-Dragon, and Miltank Abomasnow, while Leech Seed allows Tangela to accumulate residual damage on the opposing defensive core and provides an extra source of recovery for both itself and its teammates (example variance but also because not letting abomasnow in for free is very important when it dies to Blizzard and can't touch aboma otherwise.)

Tangela primarily fits on balance and bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to threaten switch into physical Water- and Ground-types multiple times (small change but more specific to the longevity and defensive nature of Tang compared to the 10 other viable grass types this line would be applicable to as well; physical because specs basc destroys tang). General special walls like Clefairy and Lanturn form a solid defensive core with Tangela, handling threats such as Silvally-Dragon and Rotom-S, respectively Rotom formes (tang deals with silvdragon better than clef because a +2 iron head 1hkos the fairy. I made it inclusive to all NU rotom formes as thats true for both special walls). Wallbreakers and sweepers such as Toxicroak and Rapidash appreciate Tangela threatening checks such as Sandaconda, Galarian Stunfisk, and Golurk; in turn, they can pressure its checks such as Abomasnow and Miltank. The aforementioned Ground-types are also good partners for Tangela, alleviating its weakness to common Poison-types like Toxicroak, Weezing, and Garbodor with Sandaconda and Galarian Stunfisk also absorbing Toxic poison.
