So Cherub Agent suggested this set, I tested it, and it's amazing!

[SET]
name: Offensive Regenerator
move 1: Leaf Storm
move 2: Hidden Power Rock / Hidden Power Fire
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Sleep Powder
item: Life Orb / Choice Specs
ability: Regenerator
nature: Modest
evs: 112 HP / 252 SpA / 144 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Unlike more defensive variants, this set aims to hit hard multiple times throughout the match, and thanks to Regenerator, it is very easy for it to do so. Leaf Storm is Tangrowth's most powerful attack, and OHKOes a number of Pokemon such as Aerodactyl, Qwilfish, Swellow, and even Weezing. Hidden Power Rock destroys any Fire-types thinking that they can come in for free on a Leaf Storm (even then, frail Fire-types such as Magmortar are OHKOed by Leaf Storm after some entry hazard damage), particularly Moltres, who gives Tangrowth major problems. If Fire-types are not a problem, Hidden Power Fire can be used to roast opposing Grass-types as well as Steel-types, but the ability to hit Fire-types is usually preferred. Focus Blast provides a third coverage move, and despite its shaky accuracy, it hits the Steel-types in the tier for super effective damage. Sleep Powder fills the last slot, as it cripples the opponent and eases prediction by putting the switch-in to sleep.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Life Orb is an excellent item for a Pokemon with Regenerator, as it can easily recover off the recoil and any damage sustained by switching out. Choice Specs also works well for this purpose, as it provides more power than Life Orb without the recoil, but Life Orb provides nearly the same power boost and allows Tangrowth to switch moves. By utilizing Regenerator over Chlorophyll, Tangrowth is able to hit hard off the bat, and isn't reliant on the sun for Speed. The given EV spread and a Modest nature allow Tangrowth to outspeed minimum investment base 70 Speed Pokemon. Because Tangrowth will usually just be spamming its insanely powerful Leaf Storm, Fighting-type teammates that can eliminate Sap Sipper Pokemon such as Sawsbuck and Bouffalant are extremely helpful. Bulky Grass-types such as Roselia and Ferroseed can also pose a major problem, should Tangrowth not be running Hidden Power Fire. Moltres is a great partner to Tangrowth, as it 4x resists Bug-type attacks and clears Grass-type Pokemon, while Tangrowth easily destroys Lanturn, one of Moltres's greatest nemeses. Since Tangrowth sports great natural physical bulk, a special wall that is able to absorb the Ice-, Fire-, and Flying-type moves aimed at Tangrowth, such as Lanturn, can be extremely helpful. Slowking also shares exceptional synergy with Tangrowth, but it shares a weakness to Bug-type attacks.

Right, considering a neutral nature, 204 Speed EVs allow you to outrun uninvested base 75s (think Claydol) considering the IV loss due to Hidden Power Fire. 164 Speed EVs allow you to outrun uninvested base 70s (think Poliwrath), once again taking the IV loss into consideration. Personally, I've never run lower than this, since Tangrowth needs this unexpected Speed to become a threat. I've maximised Special Attack, and dumped the rest into HP, if Modest, and Attack, if Rash.

I'm glad you like the set mate :D. So far it's proven very, very effective and makes great use of Tangrowths very good, yet underappreciated, offensive stats. Lanturn also has excellent synergy with Tangrowth, and can force out some stuff, like Moltres, that threatens it.

Nice job with that check Trollfreak, only missing a little bit

Omi this is perhaps irrelevant, but perhaps mention that Leaf Storm OHKOs even resists, like Swellow (a common switchin) and Weezing. I think perhaps even specially defensive weezing is OHKOed...
