This is the first team that I've built. I've used some samples, but I've never built a team myself. This team is built around the core of koko+weavile.

Tapu Koko @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Dazzling Gleam
- Roost
- U-turn
Tapu koko is the first part of this team's core. It can use u-turn on its grass type and ground type checks to bring in weavile. It can also bring in urshifu on steel type switch-ins such as melmetal. Additionally, physical walls such as toxapex and buzzwole are beaten by tapu koko. Tapu koko also beats tapu fini. The set is the standard pivot set.

Weavile @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
Weavile is the second member of the team's core. Tapu koko can bring it in on ground and grass types for it to set up with swords dance. Adamant is run to do more damage. Weavile also benefits from future sight support from slowbro, as this helps it break through problematic pokemon. Weavile will probably be the late-game sweeper/cleaner. It also provides priority and beats specially defensive pokemon that give koko trouble.

Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- Aqua Jet
- U-turn
Steel types such as AV melmetal, heatran, ferrothorn, etc. give the core trouble. Therefore, cb urshifu is used to support this core by weakening those steel types. It can usually ko those steels with close combat or surging strikes in heatran's case. It also benefits from future sight support from slowbro, as well as koko and weavile beating bulky water and grass types, respectively.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Defog
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Toxic
Landorus- t is the team's defogger. It is specially defensive to check threats such as koko and heatran. The set is the specially defensive pivot set. Landorus also provides a ground and electric immunity.

Slowbro @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Teleport
- Future Sight
- Body Press
- Slack Off
Slowbro is the team's physically defensive wall. It provides future sight+teleport support to bring in weavile and urshifu. It runs the colbur berry + body press set to lure in and KO weavile. Slowbro provides ice, water, and fighting resistances.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
Heatran is the team's stealth rock setter. It helps support the defensive core of landorus-t and slowbro by checking things such as tapu lele and kartana. Taunt is run to stop set up sweepers and help it trap pokemon such as toxapex. Heatran resists grass, which is not resisted by the other two.
