Choice Scarf Tatsugiri is a serviceable revenge killer that offers some useful utility while still packing a punch thanks to its high Special Attack and strong STAB Draco Meteor. The threat of Storm Drain makes it harder for defensive Water-types like Milotic and Cramorant to reliably pressure Tatsugiri's team and also forces offensive Water-types like Bruxish to think twice before attacking. With Choice Scarf, Tatsugiri can use its typing to serve as an emergency switch-in to threats like Salazzle and Hisuian Typhlosion before taking them out. Tatsugiri's access to a fast Rapid Spin also lets it clear entry hazards for its team in a pinch, and it does so with ease due to how well it forces switches, particularly against common hazard setters like Rhydon and Palossand.
