Why I have him the way I do currently: Since he's always been my lead, Gyarados has intimidate to make sure that if the opposing Pokemon's attack is lowered before he megas. Taunt just in case their planning to use a move such as stealth rock. With his extreme attack, he can easily crush Pokemon. Earthquake because super powerful, and destroy Electric types. Ice fang to freeze and to get rid of Grass Types. Waterfall for the usual same-type move.
