[SET COMMENTS]
Zamazenta sets itself apart as one of the premiere physical breakers in the tier due to its high attack and speed stat, further bolstered by its natural bulk and one-time defensive boost in Dauntless Shield. Adamant Aerodactylite lets Zamazenta output more damage while still outspeeding Urshifu-R, while Jolly trades in some power in order to outspeed threats such as Iron Treads, Iron Boulder, Iron Moth, and Darkrai. Metagrossite trades in power to reach blistering speed tiers in both Adamant and Jolly, with Adamant hitting 455 and Jolly hitting 500. Jolly allows for Zamazenta to outspeed +1 Great Tusk, Darkrai, Spectrier, and Barraskewda; which is valuable for fatter balance structures. Close Combat and Crunch are mandatory as the former gives the strongest STAB coverage, and the ladder covers for ghosts such as Pecharunt, Arceus-Ghost, Lunala, and Spectrier. Psychic Fangs hits both Offensive and Defensive Eternatus, which would otherwise wall it. Ice Fang gives super effective coverage against Great Tusk and Altarianite Dragonite, while Stone Edge gives super effective coverage for Ho-Oh, Zapdos, Mandibuzz, Entei, Pinsirite/Salamencite Dragonite, and Iron Moth. Zamazenta still appreciates having support for ghost types, as outside of Lunala, crunch is only effective after they have been worn down. Due to this, teammates such as Kingambit, Samurott-Hisui, Darkrai, Arceus-Ghost, and Spectrier are useful in offensively and/or defensively checking the aforementioned ghost types. Zamazenta works well on pivot balance and spike stack structures as a great breaker and cleaner for teams that lack speed control outside of Regieleki and Dragonite. Zamazenta appreciates defensive answers to Regieleki and Dragonite, both of whom OHKO with their -ate Extreme Speed when it does not have a dauntless shield boost. Due to this, Magearna is a great partner, as it defensively covers for both of these mons while setting spikes and providing a slow pivot. Pecharunt and Lunala are another strong defensive option for Zamazenta, as they help against its Great Tusk vulnerability, provide slow pivoting, and check Dragonite.
