This team seems to be on the more defensive side, with me picking the right opportunity to strike. I've had a few battles that have gone perfectly, but a few that have gone sour very quickly. Any help is appreciated.

Ok lead. Sets up toxic spikes for weardown and takes leech seeds. Rapid spin is a must for Shedninja.
Umbreon (Howl of Terror) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize

Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)

- Mean Look
Trap passer and special wall. I like slow wish passes to ensure my 'tank' takes the damage.
Regigigas (Curse of Doom) @ Leftovers
Ability: Slow Start
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Confuse Ray
I was running parafusion, but most pokes were already poisoned, so I dropped it for subpunch. Ice Punch for gliscor and dragons, also not to be walled by a ghost.
Shedinja (Curse of Agony) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd

Amazing poke. I've gotten great passes from Umbreon, giving him 3 free turns of SD. Glass cannon, for real. Agility is overkill if I have a trap-pass, but I haven't found a good last slot.

EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
TrickSpecs... god I love it. Ruins walls or physical sweepers so well. I didn't want the terrible accuracy of Focus Blast, so I went with HP fighting. Ghost + Fight for coverage, Psychic for stab.
Skarmory (Death Coil) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/156 Def/4 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird
- Stealth Rock
Physical wall and phazer. Nothing too particular, except preference to Stealth Rock to hit fliers and quicker setup.
