Introduction:

Hi everybody! Avatar Korra here. Today I would like to present my first ever team posted on Smogon! It’s weird right, not having my first thread being about Pokemon? Well, I thought it was about time for me to post my UU team which I’ve used to great success. The ladder is kind of screwed up on Pokemon Showdown (The Google Chrome app I use), so I can’t really give you a number on its success, however I have won a lot of battles and more importantly (to me at least) it’s really fun to use!

If anyone’s ever bothered to read my “About Me” page, you would see my favorite Pokemon of all time is Darmanitan. Pretty fast, AMAZINGLY STRONG, and just looks like an awesome guy you wouldn’t want to mess with. As such, he is the one Pokemon I absolutely refuse to replace on my team. Well, onto the team!

Team building process:

Darmanitan obviously started this whole team, as I wanted to make a team with my favorite Pokemon in it. I decided to use the Life Orb set over the more preferable Scarf set, just so I could cause more destruction.
555.gif

Unfortunately one drawback of using Life Orb over Scarf on Darmanitan is that I lose a fast heavy hitter. However, I discovered Scarfed Krookodile provided necessary speed, as well as being a very powerful thread. (Whose power increases thanks to Moxie). He’s a pretty good check to most of UU’s powerful Psychic and Ghost types.

I need Stealth Rock, and a powerful tank that could take care of a lot of annoying threats. Rhyperior, an old favorite from 4th gen, made its way back onto my team.
555.gif

With three water weaks, I needed a bulky water desperately. Blastoise then joined my team, to laugh at puny water attacks and spin away dangerous hazards like Spikes and Stealth Rock for the rest of my team

I now needed a solid ghost type to block those rapid spinners while potentially setting up as well. Froslass, with her ability to lay spikes and granting me the always awesome Fighting immunity, she was the next one to join my team.

I was still looking pretty weak to water and grass types, so a fellow grass type would be a welcome addition to my team. Shaymin is an extremely powerful and speedy threat, so I figured Life Orb would help deal with annoying bulky waters on my opponent’s team.

Despite Shaymin being a solid addition to my team, I felt it didn’t hit quite as hard as I would have liked. Roserade, with its monstrous Sp. Atk, and it’s extremely valuable ability to make others sleep, became a much better replacement.

The Team:

avatar_19f8f1fbb78d_128.png

Zuko the Darmanitan @ Life Orb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Speed
Ability: Sheer Force
Jolly Nature (+Speed, -Sp. Atk.)
* Flare Blitz
* Fire Punch
* Earthquake
* U-turn

The star of the team, and of course my favorite Pokemon, Darmanitan has destroyed teams even when I use him in OU. Normally most fire resists could handle repeated hits from a regular fire type. However, Darmanitan is not a regular fire type. Sheer Force Base 140 Attack Flare Blitz annihilates pretty much everything. Add Life Orb to the mix and, well, to quote a line from The Dark Knight Rises, “You’ll just have to imagine the fire.” Literally everything that takes neutral damage to, or in some cases even if they resist Fire, gets Two Hit KO’d.

Fire Punch was originally Superpower, however I never used it due to its Attack drop as well as being pretty redundant with Earthquake. Fire Punch is usually used for late game cleaning, when Darmanitan has taken quite a bit of damage and can’t afford more HP loss from Flare Blitz. By this time the opponent’s team is hopefully weakened enough for Fire Punch to do the job. Sheer Force makes it quite a strong move.

Earthquake is my coverage move, taking out other fire Pokemon like fellow Darmanitan and Chandelure. It’s surprising how many Adamant Darmanitan I run into, despite the extra power not being needed. I easily outspeed and take it out. It’s my best choice against bulky rock types like Rhyperior as well. Overall Earthquake is a fairly obvious move to have on a Pokemon like Darmanitan.

U-Turn is the second most common move I use (first being Flare Blitz obviously). Opponents always switch out due to the pure terror they feel when they catch a glimpse of Darmanitan, so U-Turn allows me to take a decent chunk out of whatever “counter” they switch in, and allows me to switch to something better.

Darmanitan often time leads my team, as it’s a great threat to most of the common leads. As they switch to a better counter, U-turn allows me to dentit and switch to my own appropriate counter, which usually ends up with something KO’d on my enemy’s team.

avatar_8c05e15e6c10_128.png

Toph the Krookodile @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def/ 252 Speed
Ability: Moxie
Jolly Nature (+Speed, -Sp. Atk.)
* Crunch
* Earthquake
* Pursuit
* Stone Edge

Krookodile is another one of my favorites introduced this gen. I wish it was used more often because he is one of the best scarfers when used properly. Jolly nature was used to outspeed Scarfed Timid Roserade, Adamant Scarfed Darmanitan, and Jolly Heracross.

Crunch is usually my main move early game, to avoid getting locked in EQ if a flyer comes in. It’s nice, reliable, and has STAB, and gets great coverage with Earthquake.

Earthquake, of course, is my main STAB and my main move when I’m sure ground immunities on the other team are taken care of. It helps revenge kill various fire types such as Adamant Scarfted Darmanitan, Bulky Arcanine, and Chandelure. It helps with potential problem Pokemon like Roserade and Raikou as well, OHKOing both.

Pursuit is a great move to help take out ghosts which block Blastoise’s rapid spin. Thanks to STAB it can even help take out weakened Pokemon neutral to dark that switch out.

Stone Edge, of course, is my least used move, simply because of how inaccurate it is. There isn’t really anything to fill its spot however. It helps against certain problematic Pokemon like Zapdos, however I still dislike this move :(. Seriously in 6th gen there needs to be a Rock type Earthquake-like move…

Moxie of course is a fantastic ability. I’ve swept teams tons of times with Krookodile, whose Earthquake after even just +1 destroys.

avatar_62a0fd0f74fe_128.png

Bolin the Rhyperior @ Leftovers
EVs: 208 HP / 252 Atk / 48 Sp. Def
Ability: Solid Rock
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
* Earthquake
* Rock Blast
* Stealth Rock
* Megahorn

Rhyperior was one of my favorites last gen and I’m glad he’s still just as effective now. Powerful threats like Zapdos, Darmanitan, Stoutland, and various Flying types could easily screw up my team if it wasn’t for this guy. This beast basically OHKOes all offensive Pokemon and lots of defensive Pokemon while it also 2HKOes most others.

STAB Earthquake is devastating, and unless you can fly expect to lose a huge chunk of your health. Rock Blast compliments Earthquake nicely, with almost unresisted coverage. There are many reasons I chose Rock Blast over Stone Edge; better accuracy, ability to go through substitutes, and take out annoying Focus Sash Pokemon like Froslass. Thanks to Rhyperior’s raw power, the damage (sometimes) lost by choosing this move over Stone Edge is never necessary.

Stealth Rock is great for a team like mine, where my opponent is switching constantly due to being threatened by great threats. I usually try to send out Rhyperior early game to ensure I set this up as soon as possible.
Megahorn is mostly for coverage, such as Flygon and Slobro.

Rhyperior is usually my first defense against common UU sweepers, and thanks to his great bulk and extremely threatening moveset I’m guaranteed to cause damage and set up my hazards.

avatar_42e849a975ba_96.png

Korra the Blastoise @ Leftovers
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Sp. Def
Ability: Torrent
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
* Rapid Spin
* Scald
* Ice Beam
* Roar

Ah, Blastoise, my first starter Pokemon ever. Blastoise plays a crucial role in my team, and as such definitely deserves the name “Korra”. Darmanitan and Froslass get wrecked by Stealth Rock, and as such it’s crucial for the rocks to be spun away using Rapid Spin. Blastoise is no slouch against spin blockers either, not being overly threatened by Froslass or Chandelure. Scald is a very valuable move, doing decent amounts of damage, and always seems to burn my opponent when I need it to.

Ice Beam helps against incoming grass types or Zapdos trying to threaten me, as well as Flygon, who can be a powerful threat against my team if Blastoise couldn’t tank his hits so well.

Roar is as always a great move, I prefer it to Dragon Tail because of it being more accurate and being able to go through substitutes. It’s a huge asset just shuffling the opponent’s team around as they rack up massive amounts of damage from a combination of Stealth Rock, Spikes, and potential burns.

The EV Spread is so I can be as bulky as possible when taking Physical hits. Torrent is unfortunately pretty useless, I wish he got a better ability :(. Maybe next gen dreamworld?

478.gif
Katara-64x64.jpg

Katara the Froslass @ Leftovers
248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Speed
Ability: Snow Cloak
Timid Nature (+Speed, -Atk)
* Spikes
* Taunt
* Ice Beam
* Pain Split

Froslass plays a very important role in this team in two ways: Setting up Spikes, and spin-blocking. Spikes along with Stealth Rock help whittle away the enemy’s health, allowing me to clean up the game with Fire Punches or Earthquakes. It’s amazing how many things in UU are threatened by Froslass, allowing me to get a layer of spikes as they switch out.

Taunt is cool for stopping lots of defensive Pokemon like Dusclops, who then can’t touch Froslass. If I can taunt a Hitmontop from using Foresight, I can pretty much shut that down as well.

Ice Beam of course my main attack of choice and very important for threatening Flyers like Zapdos. Choice Band Flygon hurts this team a lot but thankfully Froslass can revenge it thanks to Ice Beam as well. Froslass is also extremely helpful against Heracross, a potentially dangerous threat.

Pain Split helps me recover lost HP, especially if Blastoise hasn’t Rapid Spinned yet. I love when Pokemon like Snorlax come in to sponge Ice Beams only for me to get all my HP back thanks to this move.

Froslass is usually one of the last Pokemon to be sent out in my team, because of its frailness I have to make sure its threats are dead first.
Unfortunately, with hail being banned in UU, Froslass’ ability is completely useless, and I miss out on Blizzard. As much as I want Cursed Body it’s illegal with Pain Split, so it’s a necessary sacrifice.

407.gif
avatar_791a9c65686a_128.png

Asami the Roserade @ Life Orb
252 SpA / 4 Sp. Def / 252 Speed
Ability: Natural Cure
Timid Nature (+Speed, -Atk)
* Sleep Powder
* Leaf Storm
* Sludge Bomb
* Rest

It’s surprising how powerful Roserade really is. Shaymin originally was in this spot; however her Seed-Flares were lacking something. While the most common set is the Spike stacking one, I prefer this offensive one due to its ridiculous strength.

Leaf Storm destroys all bulky waters, from Milotic to Suicune. With not that many special walls able to take on Roserade, it can really devastate a team. For the rare Pokemon that can deal with Roserade, I can shut them down with Sleep Powder. Thanks to Gen 5’s weird sleep mechanics, getting anyone that falls asleep in the opposing team gives my team a great advantage. My opponent giving me free turns to do a Leaf Storm or Flare Blitz is not something they want to deal with.

Sludge Bomb is actually a surprisingly powerful move, wrecking incoming Heracross, Moltres, Fire types, etc. The combination of Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb pretty much check every Roserade counter that isn’t steel type.
Rest finishes off the set as a reliable way for me to recover all HP/cure status problems. Natural Cure is put into great effect here, allowing me to cure sleep just by switching. It’s pretty self-explanatory. Roserade needs to stay around the battle as long as possible, as it’s my only reliable check against water types.

UU OffensiveThreats
142.png
-Aerodactyl: It’s pretty rare, but Blastoise can usually handle it. It really cannot switch in to anyone on the team either.
424.png
-Ambipom: Rhyperior kind of destroys this thing. Krookodile can always revenge it, and unless they have pursuit they can’t touch Froslass.
059.png
-Arcanine: Rhyperior can usually handle this even with Close Combat, Darmanitan can EQ it, Krookodile can always revenge it. It can only really switch into Froslass.
482.png
-Azelf: Most lead ones are handled by a Krookodile pursuit. Late game, the sweeper ones can again be revenge killed by Krookodile as well.
184.png
-Azumarill: A tough one, Blastoise usually has to burn it, and Roserade can always revenge kill this. It has a hard time switching in.
625.png
-Bisharp: Blastoise can usually take it or at least roar it out, Rhyperior can handle it before boost, Krookodile can revenge it
609.png
-Chandelure: Surprisingly they always get taken out by my Darmanitan. They can’t switch into anyone on my team except Froslass or Roserade, however Roserade can always sleep it.
638.png
-Cobalion: Actually a really big threat. I try to burn it with Blastoise, also Rhyperior can live one hit. Krookodile can always revenge kill it if it gets too many boosts.
169.png
-Crobat: Cannot switch into anyone but Roserade, everything else simply causes too much damage to it.
555.png
-Darmanitan: Darmanitan is always a big threat, usually I rely on clever switching between Rhyperior and Blastoise for scarfed sets. Krookodile can revenge Life Orb ones, my own Darmanitan outspeeds the Adamant ones. Hopefully with SR and my Spikes it can be taken out fast.
632.png
-Durant: Never seen this before, however I’m sure Darmanitan could deal with it easily.
589.png
-Escavalier: Huge threat, thankfully it’s slow so I can always get a big hit on it. Besides that I really don’t have a counter for this, it’s tough!
330.png
-Flygon: Scarf sets can usually be played around with Rhyperior and Blastoise. CB ones are hard and will usually get one kill but I can revenge with Froslass
478.png
-Froslass: Not that bad, Darmanitan can beat it, Krookodile can Crunch or Pursuit, Rhyperior can always live one Ice Beam.
475.png
-Gallade: Potentially a big threat, however it can’t set up against anyone really, and my team hits too hard for it to last long.
596.png
-Galvantula: Never seen one, but Rhyperior and Krookodile should be fine.
623.png
-Golurk: Blastoise, and it can’t set up against anyone either. Froslass and Roserade can beat it as well.
368.png
-Gorebyss: Of course a big threat, however it can’t set up Shell Smash against anyone really.
214.png
-Heracross: Froslass helps, choiced ones are easy to work around, not scarfed ones can be revenge killed by Darmanitan
430.png
-Honchkrow: I never see them with HP Grass so Rhyperior is good, surprising them with Rock Blast, going through their subs. Krookodile revenges it.
229.png
-Houndoom: Blastoise and Krookodile work around it, Darmanitan outspeeds and kills it usually.
230.png
-Kingdra: Giant threat, I try to prevent it from setting up at all costs. Sub + Dragon Dance can be tough, thankfully I try and give it as little chance to set up as possible.
553.png
-Krookodile: Always a big threat, usually Blastoise can deal with it. Choiced ones I have to be careful and play around.
549.png
-Lilligant: It usually can’t set up, plus Darmanitan and Krookodile work against it.
068.png
-Machamp: Another big threat, thankfully it’s slow so it can’t switch in to most guys without taking a huge hit/burn. Darmanitan can revenge it and so can Krookodile.
429.png
-Mismagius: Usually gets destroyed by Krookodile’s pursuit/crunch.
146.png
-Moltres: Big threat, hopefully Stealth Rock is up and I can play around it with Darmanitan/Rhyperior/Blastoise. Krookodile can always revenge it as well.
034.png
-Nidoking: Not that bad, Darmanitan outspeeds and KO’s, Blastoise can handle it, Rhyperior can always take one hit and deal with it.
291.png
-Ninjask: Not a problem against anyone really. SR, Roar, powerful hits,etc.
139.png
-Omastar: Can’t really set up against anyone, if it does though I’m kinda screwed. Thankfully it never has.
243.png
-Raikou: Massive threat, however smart play can defeat it. Rhyperior can easily handle non HP Grass ones, Krookodile can revenge it, Roserade can live a hit and cause massive damage with Sludge Bomb.
464.png
-Rhyperior: A beast, but every guy on my team hits it hard enough where it can’t really pose a threat. It’s a good thing this guy is slow!
QRFqW.gif
-Rotom-C: Roserade, Darmanitan, and Froslass I guess. Never seen this before.
yLjKx.gif
-Rotom-H: Rhyperior and Krookodile. I’m willing to get burned to take this thing out.
254.png
-Sceptile: Roserade is usually my best bet. Froslass can handle it as well.
545.png
-Scolipede: Rhyperior easily deals with this, as does Blastoise, who can spin away its hazards as well.
319.png
-Sharpedo: Blastoise, and Roserade I guess. It can’t switch into anything but Froslass without getting hit hard.
492.png
-Shaymin: Darmanitan, Roserade, Froslass can handle this.
561.png
-Sigilyph: Krookodile, Darmanitan hits it hard
235.png
-Smeargle: Just play around it. It obviously cannot switch into anything.
143.png
-Snorlax: Rhyperior can beat most sets, Blastoise can always Roar it away before it curses, Roserade can sleep it.
508.png
-Stoutland: Rhyperior, Blastoise
245.png
-Suicune: A giant threat, Roserade is literally my only hope against it. Hopefully with hazards and it taking big hits, it shouldn’t be able to set up.
468.png
-Togekiss: Darmanitan and Krookodile do fine, Froslass can do okay, Rhyperior can take an Aura Sphere.
049.png
-Venomoth: Darmanitan, Stealth Rock, Froslass, and Rhyperior should handle it before it sets up.
494.png
-Victini: Rhyperior and Blastoise can usually handle it, Krookodile can always pursuit it.
461.png
-Weavile: Blastoise can take it, and Darmanitan is good as well.
469.png
-Yanmega: Can’t switch it without taking a huge hit from SR and my move. Blastoise can roar or Ice beam it I suppose.
571.png
-Zoroark: Thankfully most players don’t use it right, and it gets taken out by any strong attack. Krookodile can revenge with EQ.

UU Defensive Threats

009.png
-Blastoise: Roserade is my only reliable check, if he’s gone I just have to bombard it with big hits. Hopefully Roserade isn’t dead haha.
437.png
-Bronzong: Darmanitan, Roserade can sleep it before it does anything bad.
344.png
-Claydol: Blastoise always beats this, Krookodile can beat it, Roserade can switch in if I’m playing smart.
615.png
-Cryogonal: Lol it can’t really do anything.
452.png
-Drapion: Rhyperior, Krookodile
356.png
-Dusclops: Blastoise can burn it while it tries to spin block, Darmanitan just obliterates this thing.
395.png
-Empoleon: It’s slow and can’t switch in. Smart playing between Roserade, Darmanitan, and Krookodile take this out.
597.png
-Ferroseed: Darmanitan
207.png
-Gligar: Blastoise, Roserade, Froslass
237.png
-Hitmontop: Froslass does okay against certain varients, Blastoise helps a lot, Roserade can revenge it or switch in on a fighting move.
350.png
-Milotic: Gets broken from strong attacks, Roserade can always handle this.
031.png
-Nidoqueen: I assume Darmanitan, Krookodile, Blastoise.
233.png
-Porygon2: SO bulky, I just have to wear it down with Flare Blitz and Earthquakes. Hopefully I sleep or taunt it before it does anything annoying.
195.png
-Quagsire: Roserade
211.png
-Qwilfish: They always switch into Darmanitan, who deals with it with an EQ. Blastoise spins its stuff away.
379.png
-Registeel: Rhyperior handles this easily.
407.png
-Roserade: Annoying, I have to switch around my own Roserade, Darmanitan, and Froslass. It has a hard time switching into anyone.
479.png
-Rotom: Very annoying, usually rely on hitting it hard with Darmanitan. Krookodile can revenge kill it with Pursuit.
302.png
-Sableye: Pretty much everything can handle this.
080.png
-Slowbro: Annoying. Rhyperior’s Megahorn along with Krook and Roserade are my best bets.
260.png
-Swampert: Roserade. This can be tough though.
465.png
-Tangrowth: Darmanitan and Froslass can handle it, Roserade destroys this.
197.png
-Umbreon: Annoying, hopefully it gets hit hard enough to eventually die.
480.png
-Uxie: Annoying, especially screens ones. Hopefully Krookodile can take it out.
178.png
-Xatu: Can’t really handle anyone on my team.
145.png
-Zapdos: Ugh so annoying. Smart switching between Krookodile, Rhyperior, and Froslass.

Blastoise is completely outclassed. Swampert has better stats and is ground type, so you resist electric attacks. I recommend

Waterfall
Earthquake
Ice punch
Stone edge

You will be able to deal with grass types that switch in and those annoying flyers. Eq and waterfall for stab.

Buuuuuut you're missing the entire point of Blastoise? which is to rapid spin away spikes, t-spikes, Stealth Rocks! Also swampert has a 4x weakness to grass and is slower then Roserade and Shayrim which are the two UU grass types. Besides those points Froslass is more then capable of taking out the aforementioned grass types.

Noooow onto my opinion.
All i can really suggest is maybe Wish Support for Darmanitan since he is going to be the star purhaps swapping out froslass for a Wish -> Baton Pass Umbreon for when Darmy has worn himself low with Flare Blitz as Umbreon is quite slow it will be taking the hit and swapping 191 HP Wish to your Darmanitan.

Possible Set:

Umbreon @ Leftovers Careful
252 Hp / 4 Def / 252 Sp Def
Wish
Baton Pass
Payback
Heal Bell

Roserade then would have to become your spiker if you plan to keep them.

Well that's just my opinion hope you get something out of this post.

Apologies if the post is messy
~Azayzal

Cool team Korra.

First off, i'd run a different spread on Rhyperior, so that you can check Electric types a little better. Try running EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SpD with an Adamant nature. That turns Rhyperior into a much better Electric-type check, and trust me it doesn't need all of those attacking EVs.

Next, you'll want to run moxie Heracross over Krook. Why? Heracross provides you with a ground resistance (your team is actually very ground weak) and it stops Scarf Flygon from 6-0ing you lategame. (I know you have blastoise, but it lacks a reliable recovery move and can be worn down easily). And it's just plain better at revenge killing UU :P (and it can sweep lategame when hazards are up)

My final recommendation is that you run Porygon2 over Roserade OR Froslass. It's a fairly good Flygon/Zapdos check but more importantly, it counters Chandelure, a Pokemon that will Pokemon a threat to your team after you toss Krookodile. It has a tough time switching in, but once it gets an opportunity to get in (on a sleep-less Rose or Froslass) it WILL hurt something bad. Snorlax is also a great option. It hard counters Chandelure and beats down the Electric-types (Rhyperior + Snorlax is a good combo)

EDIT: Bulky waters are more annoying with a grass type... so if replacing Roserade doesn't work out, you can turn Roserade into a Spiker and replace Froslass with either P2 or Snorlax. You actually don't need a Spin Blocker in UU since wearing down spinners is fairly easy.

Hope I helped and good luck with your team!

Cool team, if you take PK's suggestion and use a Spiking Roserade, I would recommend an offensive variant. This allows you to keep up the offensive pressure while still settiing up Spikes, which the defensive Roserade fails to do. Here is the set I recommend:

Roserade (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Giga Drain

- Sludge Bomb

- Spikes

- Rest/Synthesis

Sadly, this would mean you have to drop Sleep Powder AND Leaf Storm, but I still think PK's suggestion will help your team a lot.

This is a cool team. I just wanted to point out that Cursed Body Froslass is perfectly legal (I know Moody Glalie is) and with Pain Split as a move tutor now, you shouldn't have any legality problems :P

PK Gaming: I tried Scarf Heracross, and he was great! He had pretty much the same Power as Krook, however with great resistances to boot. I have swept some teams using Close Combat, it was awesome! What moveset do you recommend? I'm using:

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Jolly
Moxie
EV: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

~ Megahorn
~ Close Combat
~ Stone Edge
~ Pursuit

I tried Porygon 2 over Froslass, however it wasn't very useful and mostly just sat around untouched. Believe it or not Zapdos and Flygon are not really THAT big of threats, however I could just have been playing against players who don't use them correctly. ;)
I'll try Snorlax out.

To PsYch071c, that's an interesting set and I will try it out if Snorlax ends up working. I will miss the powerful Leaf Storms and Sleep powder though...

Cherub Agent, that's great news! I will switch to Cursed Body right away as Snow Cloak has absolutely no benefits with hail now banned.

I saw your threat list, however i ust say youre underestimating durant A LOT, take a look at this calc:

252 +1 Atk Life Orb Hustle Durant Iron Head vs 0 HP/0 Def Darmanitan: 77.49% - 91.17% (2 hits to KO) (OHKO after Stealth Rock)

This means basically that with stealth rocks up, if durant manages to get a boost, im prety sure your entire team will suffer in the life orb stall process if blastoise has taken prior damage, but im being paranoid, you can probably work around it.

Now another issue i see, is Rain Dance, or generally any special variant of kingdra, since DD variants are managable by blastoise. I dont think any members of your team would lie to take a Specs Hydro Pump/Draco Meteor, or taking on Kingdra under rain. I would suggest you to change your Roserade EV spread to a more specially defensive variant to patch up this weakness.

Hey Korra,

You have a pretty cool team and it seems to handle most threats well. However, it's quite weak to some physical threats like Flygon and Kingdra, since they can switch in on a predicted resisted hit and can wreck the majority of your team. Chandelure is a huge threat to your team as well, as nothing on your team enjoys taking Fire Blast. The best way to fix all this problems, as PK Gaming has already said, would be using Porygon2 over Froslass. Porygon2 is a great pivot that can check both Special and Physical threats, and it provides your team with an all around excellent sponge. Here's the set:

Porygon2@Eviolite | Trace
Bold Nature | 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpD
Ice Beam / Discharge / Toxic / Recover

In case you're making this change, you should definitely use a Defensive set on Roserade to set up Spikes, and I would recommend going with maximum Special Defense along a Calm Nature instead of the spread onsite in order to take attacks from Special Kingdra versions, Zapdos and Shaymin better.

I truthfully don't know that much about uu so idk how much help this will be.

First off, I really like the team and the ideas you have here!

However I feel you're over-burdening too many pokemon.
I agree with making roserade specially defensive and running tspikes and spikes on it.
Then changing Frosslass to a better spin blocker like rotom-a or mismagius.
I know you like your life orb Darmanitan but I'd suggest either switching to a choice item, a substitute set or maybe just use lorb Morning Sun Arcanine instead.

I would suggest Scarfed Rotom-C over Roserade to stop Suicune.
A set like this could work:
Rotom-C
Timid nature moves: Leaf Storm, Volt Switch, Hidden power ice, Trick.
Evs: 252 Special attack, 252 speed, 4 hp
