team awesome! (it's bad)

after maybe months and months of using nothing but foreystall i decided to try to make a relatively offensive team with the central strategy using not one but two! dragons to overwhelm the opponent with outrageous techniques! however the team is shit and though i've tried to fix it myself i decided to enlist the help of you guys so here we go:

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 52 HP/252 Atk/204 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Zen Headbutt
- Trick
- Fire Punch
---
basically put in place to deter sr from going up turn 1 since it hurts gyarados and salamence especially. it's okay. i rarely use trick so i am considering maybe ice punch over it so i can revenge kill dragon dancers without having to rely on flygon too much. magnezone bait!

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/156 Def/100 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Thunder Wave
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Fire]
---
celebi jirachi combo to offset the scariness of gyarados and salamence. hp fire and thunder wave helps to catch celebi's common switchins like oh scarfheatran and scizor so that's pretty nice. i invested some spatk to put the hurt on bulky waters who give me trouble and to make sure i can ohko scizor but man you know i didn't calc it, i don't know if the investment is excessive or not. overall a good defensive mon and a staple on most of my teams.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/80 Atk/80 Def/96 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
- Earthquake
---
lays sr and makes sure mamoswine doesn't run me over. originally i had light screen over explosion to help gyarados and salamence dd up in the face of stuff they wouldn't be able to otherwise but explosion has generally been more useful for like blowing up on bulky waters if celebi can't get the job done for whatever reason. a strong and sturdy mon if ever there was one.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 232 Atk/252 Spd/24 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
---
salamence doesn't come out until lategame when i have weakened or eliminated its counters usually, lo dd outrage is scary and the rest is just coverage. i had hasty over jolly originally but i found i was taking too much from scizor bullet punches for my liking, i guess naive would work because ideally salamence is not taking hits at all. max speed yeah!

330.png

Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Punch
- U-turn
---
tests the waters for whatever dragon counters the opponent might have with u-turn, however i've gotten into the habit of just outraging outright and usually i will get two good hits in after which salamence can pick them off easily. flygon is mega stylish and fun to use.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 188 HP/144 Atk/168 Def/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
---
stalk gyarados checks a lot of stuff that would otherwise give me trouble like scizor (even though i have a fire move on almost every mon heh) heatran infernape etcetara. defensive while still maintaining a offensive threat like taekwondo, which is what i call what i call gyarados sometimes.

idk this team is fun to use but usually always loses to heavy stall plus i have a big ice weak. if you guys can't fix it i am just going to give up and start playing uu again.

Bulkydos actually seems better on your team, considering the fact that you need more aggro. Try this:

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Adamant
156 Hp/ 108 atk/ 100 def/ 144 spe
dragon dance
waterfall
stone edge
taunt

I had a team with a similar strategy, but my goal was to kill all steels so that cb flygon, dd mence, and tyranitar could do work. You might consider adding magnezone somewhere so that when you u-turn with flygon you can kill the switch in. Combined with celebi to kill handle the bulky waters, you should be in good shape. i would kind of refrain from outraging early on though, because if skarm or forry come in it means rocks go down anyway. This seems like one of those teams that seems great in theory, but because of rocks and switching in your pokes never manage to get going.

If this is an offensive team, you want an offensive gyarados. Use max attack, adamant, 184 speed evs and the rest in HP. If you give gyarados bounce, you reduce the amount of things that counter it.

I would suggest changing your jirachi into the wish version, it has great synergy with your dragons and gyarados and should keep them in good health. I suggest replacing bronzong with a magnezone, this will help your dragons have an easier time sweeping.

Offense is all about wall breaking. If you can't break their walls, you'll lose (and it seems like you can't from your comments). So I ask you, what is the best wall breaker in the game?

Mix-mence!!! In my experience, Cress is the only counter to this (maybe suicune too, but Cress is the only real worry). I'd suggest changing you salamence into mix-mence.
