OU Team, Shoddy Battle
The Leeeeead...
@Choice Scarf, Own Tempo, Jolly, 252 HP/ 252 Spe/ 4 Def
- Spore
- Trick
- Spikes
- Endeavor
My oh so adorable lead. With 409 Speed, it outspeeds non Scarf Aerodactyl and friends which are running rampant as leads. Though this not outspeed Deoxys, most either don't have max speed EVs or try and set up SR on the first turn. I Spore, then switch out. If they lead with Bronzong or some other wall, I trick the Scarf on to them as they set up, Spore the switch-in, then set-up Spikes. Yes, a really unorthodox lead. I decided to switch Ice Shard for something else. Should I use Explosion with the 252 HP EVs in Attack or should I get Stealth Rock?
The Spinner
@Leftovers, Sturdy, Impish, 252 HP/ 52 Atk/ 200 Def
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Counter
My Rapid Spinner. Although Entry hazards don't really affect anyone else but Bibarel, he's my main sweeper and needs to stay healthy at all times. EQ is for STAB and T-tar, instead of Ice Shard, I have SR which helps in ruining sashes and making it easier for Scizor to set-up as Pokemon weak to SR (most Fire Types) can't take repeated switches. Counter works surprisingly well against most non-Banded physical threats, and Jirachi can just Wish pass after.
The Annoyer, Wall, Attacker and Wisher
@Leftovers, Serene Grace, Impish, 240 HP/ 56 Atk/ 76 Def/ 136 Spe
- Wish
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
- Thunder Wave
The standard Jirachi set. I don't know what makes it work, but I've made miraculous comebacks with it, from 4-1s to 1-0s. Wish is for team support since most team members will be switching in and out a lot. Zen Headbutt is my main STAB move, hitting stuff like Heracross and Machamp, both 2HKOs on standard sets. U-turn is great in combination with Wish, and lets Jirachi hit Celebi. Thunder Wave I think makes this set awesome, as with Serene Grace, Jirachi acts like a much Bulkier Togekiss abusing Flinch Hax.
The Gengaric Special Sweeper
@Life Orb, Levitate, Timid, 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- HP (Ice)
- Will-O-Wisp
Lol, what a lame title. Anyway, it's the standard the Gengar. I needed a Garchomp and Gyara counter and figured he would do. Will-O-Wisp for Tyranitar and Weavile switching in. Should I switch it out for Starmie with Psychic which not only counters Gyara and Chomp but also Fighting types.
The Baton Passer
@Leftovers, Swarm, Impish, 184 HP/ 176 Atk/ 148 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Agility
- Baton Pass
- Iron Head
Why so out of the blue you may ask? What can it pass attack to? You'll see. Should I give it Technician instead and Quick attack? I could also take out Agility and give it Iron Defense, then give Bibarel Thunder Wave.
The UBER Pokémonz
@Leftovers, Simple, Adamant, 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def
- Waterfall
- Return
- Focus Punch
- Taunt/Thunder Wave
E: Lol, the Beaver emoticon. Anyway, don't go laughing at this like its some Luvdisc. This can actually fight back. Waterfall and Return are its STAB moves and hit everything except for Empoleon in OU, which rarely sees use. Focus Punch if ever. Taunt is to make sure Celebi or Blissey can't status me and ruin my fun. I'm considering Thunder Wave over it so I'll only have to pass Attack from Scizor. Simple (the ability), if you didn't know doubles any stat boosts Bibarel recieves. 1 SD is like +4 Attack and 1 Agility is like +4 Speed. The only thing this can't OHKO in OU after the boosts are Max Def Celebi, Max Def Forretress and Max Def Bronzong. (Skarmory has a slight chance of living) Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Oh, wait, I mean, ugly. :p
BACK-UP
@Leftovers, Levitate, Bold, 252 HP/ 114 Def/ 114 SpA
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Light Screen
- Earth Power
The main Physical wall and spinner of my team. I need SR to break any Sashes so the star of the team can sweep. Rapid Spin to get rid of any entry hazards, especially Toxic Spikes (although 2/3rds of the team is immune to it). Should I replace Light Screen with Reflect? Light Screen helps with Shadow Ball thrown at Claydol and Thunderbolt thrown at the star of the team. Earth Power is my main attacking move.
Problems the team has:
Residual damage. (Yes, I'm looking at you Forretress) I don't have any fire moves that can OHKO him, and he can set up on anything but Claydol. (or Smeargle I guess) Then, the opponent can easily switch to a ghost type to block off Rapid Spin.
Tyranitar's Sand. Tyranitar itself is no problem, but it's sand is really annoying, cancelling out much needed Leftovers recovery.
Random CMers. Raikou most notably. This team lacks a Ground type and Earthquake. Raikou sets up in my face. (Suicune is slower and can be dealt with Gengar/Bibarel)
Celebi. Jirachi can U-turn (takes roughly 50% damage off the standard Celebi), but Celebi just recovers. At best, I can force it out with Thunder Wave or Trick Scarf on it.
That's it basically. Tell me if I forgot any other threats to this team. Also, please don't suggest booting Bibarel. You'll hurt its feelings. lol, just trying to incorporate at least 1 NU in each team I have. Made this in 5 Minutes, though at the start, it had Absol over Gengar and Ninjask over Scizor.

Anti-lead Kecleon. The idea is simple. If you're up against a sleep lead, magic coat the hypnosis/spore back at them. if you're up against sr, just snatch it away. Same thing with substitute. If you think your opponent is gonna switch, focus punch. If they're gonna attack, sucker punch. Basically this thing has something it can do in every situation. Those leads that try to sub up and then boost get their attempts snatched away. If they try to sr, they get that snatched away. Status gets bounced back at stuff, and attacks get struck first. With Kecleon's hefty base 120 special defense, and 252 hp evs, he can take special hits pretty well and physical hits moderately well. Basically, he messes up the opponent with the moveset built for any situation, a great way to get the flow of the match in your favor from the beginning. Speed doesn't matter on this set because every move has a priority modifier. Other than that, it's a pretty self-explanatory set that is worth a try.
