Team Bromance! (UU Dream World)

Bromance,The intense love shared between heterosexual males. A form of male bonding and usually invisible to the naked eye. This bond is normally only shared between two males that have a deeper understanding of each other, in a way no woman could ever realise.

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to my first fifth generation team. I wanted to make a UU team cause OU is lame, but the tiers for fifth gen have yet to be decided so i am making use of the DPPT/HGSS UU tier, and the new dream world abilities.​

The Lead, Brozam

Dear lord, this guy is a major bro. He is a multi purpose lead, as i find entry hazard leads to not fit my style of play. This guy however, fits it to a T. He can come in, trick his specs onto something that will set up hazards, and then proceed to attack. I find that many leads carry something like a focus sash, which can help brozam out due to his low defenses. If im not expecting a focus sash and i think i can OHKO, i will just go for the attack cause specs zam can UTTERLY DESTROY things.

The Defensive Wall, Broski

Broski, you have served me well across the generations. This guy...he is a true bro to the core. Basic strategy is to be a defensive wall, and destroy fighting types. If this guy can get a couple calm minds under his belt, it is pretty much good game for the opposition as this guy becomes unstoppable. Scald chosen over surf for the chance of burn, and psyshock for not being walled myself.

The Hax, Broslice

Broslice is a demon. Sniper+Scope+Night Slash=Critcity. This guy is one of my favorite pokes of all time, and i just love this set. I can swords dance either on a switch, or on a neutral/resisted physical attack thanks to a phenomenal base 110 defense. Once this guy has a swords dance under his belt, he starts bringing the pain. He also provides my much needed resistance to Ghost/Bug/Dark type attacks

The Cleanup Crew, BroFlosion

Praise the poke gods for Broflosion. This guy is my clean up crew,because once is counters are gone, this guy becomes a force of nature. Scarfed eruptions put massive dents in anything it doesn't kill, and flash fire works wonderfully in my pseudo fire-grass-water core. Believe me, a free special attack boost for my eruptions is not something im willing to let pass me by. Entry hazards can really screw this guy, so he comes out late game after Hitmonbro has cleared the field.

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 hp 252 atk 4 def
Nature: Impish
- Rapid Spin
- Close Combat
- Sucker Punch
- Bullet Punch

Not so sure about this guy, but he serves his purpose in coming onto the field before typlosion, and clearing away all of those annoying entry hazards that would hinder his sweeping ability. He also provides priority damage for my team, which is always a good thing for cleaning up those pokes that are low on health and possible threats to the other members of my team

The Special Wall, Broasaurus
Venusaur @ Black Sludge
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 hp 240 sp.def 16 speed
Nature: Sassy
- Power Whip
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed

This guy was so dominant in 4th gen UU, i really couldn't help but not use him for fifth gen. With the new weather teams running around, i decided for chlorophyll over overgrow to play a bit with a chance of sun. Venusaur also helps me deal with bulky waters who might want to try and hinder a typlosion sweep. Leech seed+ Black sludge is a good rate of recovery, so i choose leach seed over synthesis because of the annoyance factor
 
No Cross Poison on Drapion? Blasphemy. It has a high crit rate too, and it would hurt the non-steel types that resist Night Slash.

Maybe Fake Out on Hitmontop, and/or Pursuit to hit ghosts (Some might set up if you use sucker punch). If you use both, get rid of Close Combat. And bullet punch sucks, Mach punch is way better.

Venusaur really should have Synthesis over leech seed, it will help a lot more. Sludge Bomb should be replaced for something else?
 
Just a quick nitpick, use Choice Scarf over Choice Specs on Alakazam if you always use Trick on the first turn. Choice Scarf cripples a larger portion of leads. Choice Specs just cripples Physical-based leads because passing Specs onto a Special attacker is just dangerous. Choice Scarf, however, maybe passed onto a Physical AND Special attacker and not give their attacking moves a significant boost.
 
Aqua Tail over Ice Fang on Drapion is an idea if you want and possibly Mach Punch on Hitmontop. Anyway, this is a nice UU team, well done!!
