Team Fat Guy (OU RMT)

The gist of this team is to lure out and get rid of snorlax’s counters, such as lucario, machamp, infernape, and scizor, so it can sweep. This is my first competitive team, so I would appreciate some feedback
Lead Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Stealth rock
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Taunt

Lead Gliscor synergizes very well with my team, being able to set up stealth rocks, while at the same walling many threats. U-turn can be used to break azelf and aerodactyl’s focus sashes. I then send out scizor and ko both of them with bullet punch. With bulkier leads such as tyranitar, bronzong, and hippowdon, I usually taunt, set up my stealth rocks and u-turn to scizor, magnezone, and slowbro respectively. Lead dragonite can be a problem, though, as none of my other pokemon can switch in and ko it without taking significant damage.

Revenge Killer Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- U-turn
I don’t need to tell anybody how much of an absolute beast scizor is. This guy can revenge with bullet punch, trap with pursuit, and scout with u-turn. Bullet punch ohko’s non-babiri tyranitar, which I otherwise have massive trouble with, as well as aerodactyl and azelf. Pursuit is very useful for picking off foe rotoms, who can cripple snorlax with choice specs and scarf. I only switch in scizor on rotom if I know that the rotom is choiced, otherwise, I stay in with snorlax for fear of scizor being burned, whereas snorlax can heal from a burn with rest.
Special sweeper Gengar @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Nature: Timid
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute

Subgar works very well with magnezone and snorlax, being able to switch in on many choiced and non-choiced fighting and ground type moves, and substituting on the switch. I have thunderbolt over hidden power fire, as magnezone already carries it.

Steel Trapper Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Naive
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Fire
- Flash Cannon
- Explosion

Magnezone takes care of the other half of snorlax’s worries, steel types, who are able to wall him indefinitely. Magnezone duties are usually done after skarmory, forretress, or scizor are dead. I then have him blow up.
Physical Wall Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Nature: Bold
-Slack Off
-Psychic
-Surf
-Thunder Wave

Slowbro is probably the best machamp counter in the game, being able to tank his dynamic punch, while his Own Tempo ability prevents him from getting confused. Slowbro is very useful for walling fighting type pokemon, such as lucario, machamp, and infernape. He is also very useful when fighting dragon dances, such as kingdra and gyarados, and to a lesser extent, dragonite.
Physical Sweeper Snorlax @ leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
Nature: Careful
- Curse
- Return
- Crunch
- Rest

With the omnipresent fighting type moves out of the way, snorlax can usually pull off a sweep. Curse is the crux of the set, boosting snorlaxss cruddy defense and good attack. Unlike most sweepers, snorlax actually does better when setting up against walls and tanks, being able to take their weaker-than-average hits while boosting himself. Crunch is so snorlax doesn't become a huge paperweight against ghosts like rotom, gengar, and the rare misdreavus.

Nitpick. Remove Thunderbolt add pain split, you have issues with Blissey and it can be lessened by the addition of pain split as you could easily stall it out as well as regain back recoil damage.
