Team "Frosty Chocolate Milkshakes" WANTS YOU!

I've been gone for a while but I'm back and would like your input on my WiFi team. I believe that it can be improved, and I'm sure you will too.

The main goal of this team is to run a fast game and control the tempo of the match. Combining overwhelming out of the box power with a couple backstops, winning is done by throwing off the opponents synergy.

Although winning can take place without

or

, the mindset entering each match is to work up to getting one of them a sweep, either to end the game or to take out enough of the opponent to ensure victory.

Vs stall/bulky teams field hazards are ignored since it doesn't dramatically effect the play-style, In the case of breloom + toxic spikes and gatr + torrent these field hazards at times can help. Vs other offensive teams porygon-z and lucario are utilized to get a step ahead of the competition.

@ Speed Scarf
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Spatt/252 Spd/4 HP
Timid
- Tri-attack
- Icebeam
- Darkpulse
- Hyperbeam

Role: Reliable Lead

Is a great lead im most scenarios. Tri-attack is used almost exclusively and in all scenarios, hitting 160BP neutral and 80BP resisted + 20% status. But as with many non-suicucde leads it will get switched out, and hyperbeam provides a key piece in either being used as a last ditch attack or for weakening a heavy opponent and allowing it to KO you. But with the dominance of tri attack and darkpulse hyperbeam/icebeam are hardly used. Timid nature ensures speed vs other scarfs or +1 spd boosted pokes.

@ Life Orb

Ability: Syncronize
EVs: 252 Spatt/252 Spd/4 HP
Timid
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Charge Beam
- Signal Beam

Role: Out of the Box Sweeper

It's a poke that's almost ready to sweep as is. The stragedy behind this set is to revenge kill with chargebeam and get the boost. With a boost this poke even is a threat to blissey. Signal beam is an alternative use for a different range of coverage that psychic and F-blast can't which is hardly ever.

@ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Att/252 Spd/4 HP
Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Rockslide
- Earthquake (Edited)

Role: Setup Sweeper

Why I have a DD'er doesn't need explaining but why I have this DD'er does.
1. Not weak to SR
2. Decent defense stat + water typing
3. Torrent (which field hazards help activate)

-This team cannont have an SR weak DD'er because there is no spinner, and Gatr has all of the attributes necessary to justify his spot here. Rockslide is chosen so Gatr can stand up to Gyarados and earthquake completes coverage of that set. (Edited)

lucario_04.gif
@ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Spatt/252 Spd/4 HP
Modest
- Aura Sphere
- Vacum Wave
- Darkpulse
- Flashcannon

Role: Overwhelming Special Attacker

Being capable of having a physical or special set makes Luke great at scoring KO's on opponents thinking it was physical. It brings a powerful priority move to the team and even more importantly can counter scizors bullet punch. In this case I chose flashcannon because of STAB, Luke already has great coverage with fighting/dark.

breloom.png
@ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Att/252 Spd/4 HP
Adamant
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Substiture
- Leechseed

Role: Regain Tempo Control

Brelooms biggest purpose here is to neutralize extremely bulky pokemon which could slow down the pace of game my team tries to control. Sleep undeniably can break your opponent, and having a focus punch that hits like explosion can too. Breloom steps in to regain control of a match and get the team back on track.

Bronzong.png
@ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Hp/100 Def/100 Spdef/56 Spatt
Nature:(-SPD,+Spdef)
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
- Chargebeam
- Hiddenpower (Ice)

Role: Backstop (Anti-random sh*t)

Strictly runs team support and is here for it's ability to switch into a plethera of attacks and ruin another pokes setup as well as save my own attackers with boltbeam and explosion. I'd say it averages about 1/2 a kill per game, but it remains necessary since it is the only defense dedicated poke on this team.

Looking for any and all constructive criticism.
Thanks

Well I like your team very original,
But on your Breloom you said you wanted to get rid of extremely bulky pokemon so you can pick up the pace of the game. But you are running only 1 attack and leech seed. I feel as that would slow down the pace of the game a lot. So I would recommend using this set.

Breloom@toxic orb
adamant
4 HP 252 ATK 252 SPE
-Spore
-Focus Punch
-Seed Bomb
-Facade

Yes I know this is ripped right off the strategy Dex but I have found this set to be a great wall breaker. It can really hurt the main switches into Breloom such as Celebi and Zapdos.
The moves
-Spore well I mean what is a Breloom without spore. It is the only 100% sleep move in the game.
-Focus Punch it hits like a truck period.
-Seed Bomb Good STAB move.
-Facade the ace in the hole it is great as a surprise move a 140 BP move (after toxic orb) it offers great neutral coverage

Well I hope this helps

I'd change Superpower on Feraligatr to Earthquake, since hlose a lot of bulk and attack power. Tyranitar can be killed with Waterfall anyway.

@ pkmntrainerblue

I've tried seedbomd in the past and wasn't satisified but facade might be worth a try. I've just liked subseed simply because it's almost always useful, seemingly more so than another attack. And your right about breloom taking the game and changing to a snails pace, but once it does its job i try to get safe switch or just fodder breloom and press on.

@
Cherub Agent

I completely agree with you, ty for pointing that out. Especially since I don't carry any other ground or fire moves, jirachi/metagross is always a pain for me to handle.

You know, Steel is only super effective against Ice and Rock, but considering you are using Aura Sphere, which is a way better offensive move anyway, I reccomend you to change Flash Cannon for Close Combat. Keep the Modest nature because with Life Orb and Stealth Rock you guarantee the OHKO on the standard Blissey.

Edit**
I am not a noob (if you were wondering xD) I have used that same Lucario set with great success on the ladder (ranked 15th).

Your last three pokemon can be taken out by an Infernape, breloom only has focus punch (unless your lucky with substitute or spore) so any fire move can take it out, Lucario does not have a great defence but can take it on for a bit and Bronzongs high Defence might make it last but can be taken down.

The porygon does not need hyper beam, you said yourself that hyperbeam is rarely ever used and recharging is extremely annoying and not worth the 150 base power. I would choose thunderbolt for coverage over power and a gyarados with a DD boost will cause you team problems with breloom's moveset as it is.
I'm not sure how effective Lucario is on this team, both fighting and flying types walk all over it. Breloom has a better fighting type move and porygon-z has dark pulse. Also if you change breloom's moveset so that it has facade and seed bomb (much better set in my mind) then lucario becomes completely unnecessary. If you want a special sweeper then go for Jolteon, he works excellently with Feraligator (absorbing electric attacks) and Breloom (taking care of flying types and maybe psychic types) and may even pass a charge beam to Alakazam, opening another moveslot on him. Jolteon is also an excellent revenge killer due to its fantastic speed and sweeper getting a charge beam boost. If you don't feel you want to pass a charge beam then a Specs Jolt is also viable with four attacks to help your team.
