Hello there and welcome to my RMT :D After testing out my last team I finally came to the conclusion that it just didn't work out for me, so after a lot of willowing in self pity a friend of mine helped me make a new team! This team uses prediction has a very strong weapon, its main hinderance however is that it carries 3 choice users. This didn't affect me much since 2 of those choice users are mainly for that "checkmate" style of play :P
Thanks for reading this and enjoy my RMT! :3!

CutYouUp (Gliscor) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/40 Def/216 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Taunt
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
---
The team leads off with Gliscor, I like Gliscor so much because its a very good lead. It taunts the opposition whenever it predicts a set up move, and continues to lay up rocks of its own. Gliscor is also a valuable addition because its an extremely good Lucario counter (provided its not carrying Ice Punch) But even then Gliscor outspeeds and KO's it with STAB Earthquake. The instant recovery provided by Roost is of great use to a Pokémon with Gliscor's bulk and relatively high Speed, and helps keep it alive for the entire duration of the battle. Gliscor has just the right base stats, movepool, and typing for what it needs to do: counter many physical attackers and support the team at the same time. Its STAB Earthquake 2HKOes Tyranitar and OHKOes Lucario, and also does a decent amount to most fragile switch-ins.
IGotLade (Gallade) (M) @ Salac Berry
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 SDef
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
---
I was a bit sceptical wether or not Gallade was a welcome addition to this team, and needless to say I was suprised. Don't bother saying things like Gallade is outclassed by Lucario because I don't find that to be the case, if I had Lucario over Gallade then my team would have a fire weakness. Whenever Gallade comes in on something that can't do anything to it like an Ice Beaming Blissey, Cresselia or even Bronzong, it subs up, sets up and proceeds to sweep with boosted attack. And if its Salac Berry has been activated its all the better. I went with Stone Edge over Night Slash because hitting the likes of Cresselia didn't really matter to me, Stone Edge proved a lot more effective in battle when I want to kill things like Gyarados and Zapdos.
Magnepwn (Magnezone) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Explosion
---
Lol, its funny to see how common Scizor is getting in the OU metagame, so Magnezone is nearly necessary to this team. First of all, this puts all Steel types into the "Checkmate" position, for example; A Jirachi goes for trick but I bring in this beastly machine, poor Jirachi can only use Trick whilst I destroy it with Hidden Power Fire. Magnezone works well with Gallade, keeping most of his priority abusing counters in check. Such as Mamoswine and Scizor, Magnezone OHKO's Mamoswine with Flash Cannon and OHKO's Scizor with HP Fire. Magnezone can also kill Lucario provided it has taken damage from Life Orb and Rocks previous.
This thing just eats Scizor for breakfast, especially the SD variants that try to set up and get owned. Since Scizor is the most OU pokemon in the whole game, Magnezone is a welcome member to this time.
Meta-Bug (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Pursuit
---
Yes I know, you're probably thinking to yourself how ironic it is to have a Scizor Killer like Magnezone right above this description, boasting how it kills other Scizor. And then to have the generic average-joe CBZor directly underneath it. As spammy as Scizor is, theres no denying how much of a force it is in the OU metagame. U-Turn is useful for scouting the opponents team and its unbelievable how many teams actually have a weakness to it, Bullet Punch is pretty explanitory (I mean its a Scizor, come on) Pursuit is extremely useful at killing off things like Rotom formes (provided its not rotom-h) and Latias. Its hard to make a team without Scizor, its just a very handy pokemon :)
Dyers Eve (Tyranitar) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
---
Another epic twist! From using the generic CBZor to some actual originality! Yes this looks like the regular Dragon Dance Tyranitar at first glance, but as you can see I used my own EV spread to give it the bulk needed to set up a DD or two. Careful nature is used so because of Sandstorm, Latias' surf does only 17% or something to this fat monster. Its very easy to set up with this because of its immense bulk, and once it has up, this Tyranitar becomes a real nightmare to take down. Because I maxed out this Tyranitar's HP, Its harder for Scizor to kill it. Tyranitar can live a Bullet Punch and kill it with a x4 Fire Punch.
And just a side note, if nicknames boosted stats, this pokemon's attack would be huge! :3
Wewt (Latias) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Trick
---
Wewt :P! I love this set! Do you want to know why? Because whenever someone looks at Latias they instantly say "Oh, Is CMLatias" or "Its a Specs Latias" This Latias causes a lot of suprises in battle. People have gotten +1 DD on their Gyarados multiple times and stayed in because they thought they could outspeed and I wouldn't be scarfed. But I am scarfed, so I kill all Gyarados and Salamence with Thunderbolt and Draco Meteor respectively. Scarf Flygon thinks it can outspeed me and kill me with an Outrage, but I outspeed it and kill it with a Draco Meteor. Same goes for Heatran, which normally would outspeed Latias with a Scarf, and attempt to hurt her with Dragon Pulse or Hidden Power Ice, however I'm faster thanks to the Choice Scarf and do a lot of damage with Surf. Blissey isn't very annoying to this set as I trick it while it tries to set up.
