After watching some really sweet Videos on Youtube, I really wanted to start Competitive battling. I didn't like OU's extremely tight metagame. And i was to inexperienced in NU. I found UU to be more my style. I created a team with some poweful pokemon and i wanted it to be balanced. I also made this team with little metagame knowledge so i would appreciate the suggestions.
My team at a glance:

Just to give you an idea of how this team is, on shoddy (smogon university), my conservative rank estimate is 1301. And The rating thing says 1471-1584. If you need my volatility, let me know. I dont know what any of this means, but maybe you can tell me.
One of the main problems of this team is when someone faints, the synergy is thrown off. Enough rambling, let me present my team...
Team UU
The Lead

TrickScarf Uxie
Nature: Impish
Evs: 252hp, 104 def, 152 spe
Item: Choice Scarf
Moveset:
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Thunder Wave
Summary: Honestly, Uxie is an Ok lead. It gives me an advantage over slower, set-up leads. But quick leads seem to be a pain. Most notably Ambipom. Uxie has other minor uses too. Occasionally, it can become a physical wall, and mid-game SR user. Other times, it is a death fodder/scouter. Unfortunately, Uxie sometimes cannot set-up stealth rocks and is merciless against the hands of the scouting leads. Also, other trainers have seemed to know what a Uxie can do and switch into someone who could use the choice scarf. But against the unsuspecting opponent, Uxie can really mess up the items of the opposing Pokemon.
The Pursuit Trapper

Drapion
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 252 att, 4 def, 252 spe
Item: Life Orb
Moveset:
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Aqua tail
Summary: Though Intended to be a PursuitTrapper. Drapion ended up becoming my main physical attacker. Turns out Alakazams and Espeons weren't as prevalent in UU than i originally intended. However Drapions good typing allowed for a way to scout my opponents team. Aqua tail is a great attack agaisnt many ground types who wish to Earthquake me. But Crunch is his main attack. Pursuit is still my option against threat-full opponents who i would predict a switch out. But even if they dont, pursuit does a good amount of damage and proceed to crunch next turn.
The Special Sweeper

Houndoom
Nature: Timid
Ability: Flash Fire
Evs: 4hp, 252 sp. att, 252 spe
Item: Life Orb
Moveset:
- Flamethrower
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power Flying
- Nasty Plot
Summary: Houndoom is a BEAST. After a Nasty Plot, he OHKO's many, many things. He is my mid/early-game sweeper. He is a kill or get-killed type of pokemon. He is also a ghost and dark type absorber to attacks aimed at Uxie. If he is unable to set-up Nasty Plot, he is still a great pokemon. He can kill potentail threats. Though i wish he wasn't so weak to mach punch users, and his speed is something which i wish he could have more of.
The Physical Sweeper

Azumarril
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Huge Power
Item: Choice Band
Evs: 240 hp, 252 att, 16 spe
Moveset:
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- SuperPower
Summary: Azumarril is a great Pokemon in general, and is a late-game sweeper many times. His priority allows him to kill weakened pokemon very quickly. He doesn't fit in with the team well, i just chose him over Ursaring. But, my team has been doing better since.
The Tank

Restalk Milotic
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers
Evs: 252 hp, 200 def, 56 sp def
Moveset:
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Sleep-talk
- Rest
Summary: Milotic is a life-saver. It is a great and its ability to heal its status and gain defense while sleeping it to be an effective mixed tank. It has outstalled a clefable once and turned in into a struggle battle. I am proud to have milotic on my team. But Poliwraths and Sup-punch Azumarrils tend to be a problem.
The Revenge Killer

Scarfed Venasaur
Nature: Modest
Item:Choice Scarf
Evs: 56 hp, 72 att, 164 sp att, 216 spe
Moveset:
- Leafstorm
- Sludge Bomb
- Earthquake
- Sleep Powder
Summary: An unlikely Revenge killer, Venusaur is AMAZING and is the MVP of my team. He has won me battles with his speed, and stab Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb. He attracts Firetypes, and occasionally allows Houndoom to take advantage of flash fire. He is a great team with Milotic. And i'd like to keep it that way. Sludge bomb is my main stab and its ability to poison is very helpful against tanks. My opponents tend to predict a leafstorm and switch into their own grass type. Only to be devastated by a sludge bomb. Venasuar is probably on of the best pokemon in UU.
Being new to the meta-game, i really had no idea what to do for a threats list so i will list pokemon which create hell for my team:
Poliwrath: Tends to switch into to milotic and makes a sub. Milotic can't scratch it
Sub-punch Azumarrial tends to be just as annoying.
Ambipom leads are really a pain for my team. Ambipoms are usually paired with spiritomb. Making it really hard for Uxie.
Clefable walls my team like no other
Chansey is a pain to handle.
There are many other pokemon which my team has trouble against, but these are the most notable.
