ORAS OU Team Jean (Semi-Stall)

Hello everyone, it's my first time here 'cause i need other idea for upgrade my team. It's since the 4G when i started competitive play, but i'm relatively new in 6G. Well, let's begin (PS : English is not my native language, , then excuse me for the mistakes)

In the beginning, i wanted to build a team semi/hard stall with

because they are a very good staller duo, and i love both of them.

I wanted a healer/defog/heal bell for my team, and a (very) bulky one, I have allways liked

(he is amazing in duo) for his bulk/fearie type, and he can switch in on dragon pretty easily

I wanted a bulky M-evolution with good dmg, and i always wanted to test

I needed a spiker with a good bulk, good typing, a lot of utility and the capacity to checks fearies, i have taken

At this stage, i have wondered what revenge killer i needed, electric like thundurus/raikou are good, but a second ground weakness is not a good idea, and i have nothing for cancel rapid spin,

Jean Maird (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume

Often my lead, EV max SpD and HP for a great tank Sp, can wall electric threat like Raikou/Thundurus/M-Manectrics or kill magnezone (but for magnezone to switch in on heatran... he is crazy), wall faeries pretty good, Stealth Rock user. I use Earth Power because with it, heatran can win a duel vs himself, and he is a surprisingly good killer of M-Charizard X, i lack of ground attack for coverafe and last, it can create a surprise HKO (who will think an utility heatran have earthpower?).
At first, i was thinking "2weakness x4 fire is so bad, what can i have in place of ferrothorn? But after many fight, Heatran is the reason why 2 weakness x4 fire is not very bad because he can switch with impunity and deal a lot of dmg with the +1SpA, and generaly force a switch

If heatran is not my lead, it's him, Classic EV and nature (allow him to not be HKO by most fire users, tank very well in physical and special, etc...), spikes for setup (If i can have 3spikes and stealth rock on the battleground, if they don't defog/spine, they are in a very deep shit), leech seed for regen and harass, protect for check/regen/win time for toxic, and gyro ball for hit pretty hard fearies and only 4/18 resi. Leftovers because it's not my main physical wall, rocky helmet is very good for 30% life/physical hit, but here, ferro is a mixed wall with a typing better vs Special than Physical, and take rocky helmet will make him loose his precious leftovers regen.

My bulky healer, classic EV dans nature for a good bulk in physical as well special, wish for heal my other bulk/gengar, defog for remove EH, heal bell for remove status (like toxic on Rotom-W or paralyze on gengar, etc...), air slash for not being block by taunt, and with serene grace = flinch at 60%. Wall easily conkeldurr and fighting pkm

My revenge killer, Max EV SpA and Spe for hit hard and fast, life orb for hit even more hard. Icy wind for easily kill dragon with weakness x4 who can otherwise deal a lot to my team (garchomp/dragonite for exemple), focus blast for the cover and hit steel/rock/darkness hard, sludge wave for faerie/grass who can wall a good portion of my team, shadow ball for a neutral hit who have a great chance of reducing the SpD. No destiny bond because i don't intend to "sacrifice" him for take down a sweeper, and icy wind provide a coverage absolutely needed (i think)

Jean Caisse (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate

My main physical wall and main pivot, Max EV HP and Def, i can switch in with it with ease praticaly all the time, can wall an enormous proportion of the OU, his special tanking is pretty good with a good typing, often the target of wish, WoW for the physical attackers and help him greatly for tanking. Hydro Pump for the stab and greats dmg, pain split for healing and dealing a bit of dmg but i find it very inconsistent but i don't like rest + chesto berry soooo i have Pain Split, and volt switch for another stab that allow rotom to gain momentum

EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch

- Swords Dance

My bulky sweeper for mid/late game, Classic EV, with it, M-Scizor can win his duel vs calm mind clefable at +0, and win with clefable at +1 with a bit of luck (+1 0 SpA Clefable Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 176 SpD Mega Scizor: 316-372 (92.1 - 108.4%) -- 50% chance to OHKO). His bulk is so amazing, a good typing. after a sword dance, he is virtualy unstoppable. Roost for regen, bullet punch in main stab and priority move, knock off for killing ghost/psy (dedication to YOU M-Metagross) and disable item. He is my wall breaker.


My Tactique : classic Semi Stall, i put the EH when i can, and use the strenght of my walls to harass the ennemi bit by bit, and clean with scizor when it's time

Calm mind users, M-Sableye and Clefable are immune to toxic, Clefable is wall by heatran, but heatran can't kill him, Scizor can kill Clefable if clefable is only at +0 or +1.
I have no fighting pkm for counter M-sableye, M-Scizor can duel pretty well M-Sableye and win if M-Sableye is only at +1 or +0 when he switch in, if M-sableye have WoW, Scizor can win only if Sableye is at +0 at the same time than Scizor.
M-latias/latios are a threat if i miss my toxic, what happens often with me....

If heatran is KO, M-Manectric can kill all my team, raikou and thundurus are the same in a lesser extent because they don't have a fire move (ferrothorn and scizor wall them pretty well)

if stealth rock are on the battleground, gengar can easily kill it, but there is no SR, it will be difficult to take it down => earthquake deal a ton on heatran, solar beem kill Rotom-W


I know i need a taunt user, but who? Gengar? Heatran? Which move replace?

Mega Sableye / Mega Latias / Mega Manectric / Charizard-Y / Raikou / Thundurus-I

those are the threats you mention as problematic. there is actually one pokémon whose typing lets her check all of those those guys nicely and I would consider her over Mega Scizor: Mega Altaria. in addition to checking all of those pokémon, she gives your team a great win condition with DD, maintaining the offensive presence Mega Scizor provided. Mega Altaria also gives the team a good response to Keldeo, who you are currently very weak to-

the EVs provide nice bulk to reliably take hits from the likes of Charizard-Y and Mega Manectric. the speed makes you faster than pokémon like Weavile after a DD and with an Adamant nature + 16 Atk EVs + Pixilate, you are still plenty powerful. Heal Bell is very nice on this team to ease the pressure status places on teammates who have a tendency to be burned, like Ferrothorn.
I wouldn't keep Togekiss with the change to Mega Altaria. the team doesn't need Defog much and having two fairies is redundant/stacks unwanted weaknesses. replacing Mega Scizor makes pokémon like Mega Lopunny and Bisharp more threatening to your team. this is an issue we should address and to do so I recommend Hippowdon over Togekiss. this provides a reliable answer to Mega Lopunny/Bisharp and a further way to deal with annoying electrics, which is appreciated since Mega Altaria can't hold them off alone.

Stone Edge is a possibility over Whirlwind if you prefer something to hit Thundurus-I/Talonflame with.
with SR on Hippowdon, you have the flexibility to mess around with Heatran's set. Scarf is a possibility to provide more to speed to an otherwise slow team. since you mention wanting a Taunter after your threat list, another option is using Taunt + Magma Storm. with Gengar forgoing Taunt for Icy Wind, you don't really have much to break stall and modifying Heatran to this particular set would help with the problem-

I am recommending a more offensive Heatran with max speed over a bulkier one because your team is kind of slow. with Altaria, Hippowdon and Rotom-W on the team you're well off against the things a special defensive variant kept in check, so losing the bulk isn't too bad.
nice team overall. the only other thing I would change are Rotom-W's EVs. use 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe. this spread makes you faster than any BD Azumarill, who looks a little annoying for your team.

Not having a defog user is a bad idea in my team, the SR doesn't deal much to my team, but spikes exterminate it. VS a semi/hard stall team or anything with a lot of EH, no defog/rapid spin causes invariably a defeat. Togekiss is also a healer, and wish is broken vs hyper offensives teams.

I have forgot to add this at Rotom-W but i run full def EV because ferrothorn wall the pkm who can threat Rotom without 44EV Spe, Azumarill can't do any shit to ferrothorn without belly drum, and with it, ferrothorn is "only" 2hko and have the time to use at least 1gyro who deal 37-43.9% on azu belly drum, and if it die, M-scizor can revenge kill azu at +6 with bullet punch, aqua jet at +6 deal "only" 62-73.4% when bullet punch at +0 deal 31-37.5%. When azumarill is at +6 and 75% HP, it's not possible to take him down without loose a pkm in most of teams

If I switch M-scizor to M-altaria, I need to switch togekiss, but i need a defog/wish user, without it, matchup vs stall/EH or hyper offence team are bad matchup for me, they are 2 pkm who can have defog and wish : latias and togekiss, latias is a dragon like M-altaria, and togekiss a faerie.

Charizard Y is not a very bad threat, keldeo is more a threat thant charizard Y, raikou and thundurus can't kill heatran or ferrothorn, then they are a threat just when both of them are KO.
