As the name suggests, my team is based on Lucario as the primary sweeper. My pokes help me take down its counters so lucario may sweep down teams. The other offensive threats aim to take advantage of lucarios resistances for another possible sweep. So hers my team.
Team Building Process
I wanted to base my team on Lucario, and here it is.
Gyarados can take all of the moves aimed at Lucario, and makes a good secondary sweeper if lucario is down. Lucario isnt invincible, and this guy appreciated the weakened team lucario leaves for him to sweep. Also, Rock type moves can go to lucario and his 4x resistance to it.
Rotom-w provides dual screens, making it alot easier to set up with lucario. He is immune to fighting and ground, and lucario can come in on dark and ghost moves aimed at it.
Latias, the scarf set to revenge kill. He supports another ground immunity and fire resistance for lucario, and can take thunderbolts aimed at gyarados.
Salamence is for mid game and i needed to find a way to take on lucarios counters. He also lures in moves that are easily set up on by lucario.
Finally, I needed a lead. I had a hard time choosing between an anti-lead and a suicide lead. My team hated SR, cause of mence and gyara, but i needed SR as well. So i went with jirachi. Its stopped suicide leads, 2HKOing most by iron head, and more bulkier leads were taken out by trick.

Jirachi is a great lead that can take out other leads well. He has a good chance of taking out azelf and aerodactyl with iron head, causing a 2HKO. Slower leads are tricked, which means that they will be locked into stealth rock or an attacking move, usually groung or fire, that can allow several pokemon to come in and sweep. U-turn is always a good move, allowing me to switch to a better match up if the present lead shows a big threat. I have been using him more for the purpose of preventing SR rather than setting it up himself, as this set needs to switch often and doesnt always get the best time to come back in to set up SR.

Remember how i said i needed a pokemon to take on lucario's counters? Well with this set, it can. By dragon dancing first, it will lure in physical walls such as hippowdon, gliscor and swampert, all of which can survive lucario's moves and pose a threat with earthquake. But when the wall comes in, Salamence delivers a draco meteor, destroying these walls. He can them sweep on his own or let lucario sweep unhindered. By running earthquake, i cant combat skarmory or bronzong, but against other steels, a +1 earthquake is better than a -2 fire blast anyway.

Rotom sets up dual screens, which help provide lucario and gyarados with some more defence and special defence to take hits and set up more easily. Hydro pump helps with heatran, as it cant explode, and it does not carry super effective attacks anyway. Light screen also helps with taking its hits. Discharge is useful for paralysis, but this support isnt always needed. The lack of a recovery move is also very discouraging, as it is taken down rather easily, as there is no leftovers to help ease the pains of residual damage. i still find him useful but would appreciate some suggestions for a filler.

My revenge killer. She draco meteors mence and pretty much anything that doesnt take a super effective hit from her other moves. Thunderbolt murders gyarados and bulky waters, bar swampert. The great thing about this set is the ability to outspeed both gyarados and salamence after a dragon dance. I was considering flygon for this spot, cause this set is walled by blissey. But with trick rendering her useless, and the lack of a proper pokemon that hits from the special side, i chose her. trick is also useful on life orb sweepers. i can trick them into a super effective move on latias and then switch to lucario as ghost, dark, ice, dragon and bug are resisted, netting me a free swords dance on the switch.

This is my second sweeper, though it usually sees action first. He relies on latias to revenge kill starmie and other latias. After a dragon dance, he is only prone to revenge killing, so he can do quite a lot of damage. Right now i use ice fang for gliscor and dragons, but even with a dragon dance he cant outrun choice scarf flygon, and waterfall deals with gliscor, so i have considered earthquake to punish electric types and the odd empoleon. I'd like your ideas on this point if anything else.

With the openings provided by his team members, he finds easy opportunities to swords dance, such as latias' trick and his many resistances as well as dual screens. His counters are usually gone by the time he shows, making him impossible to stop, as he also has a solid priority move. With crunch, the rotom forms are taken out, but i could use some suggestions for this moveslot. His nature is also a concern to me, as i have read some RMTs with lucario saying that a jolly nature is perferred, so i would like help with that as well. Overall, i picked lucario because i saw his utility and amazing sweeping capabilities, and so far i havent been disappointed.
