Special Sweeper

Intimidate
Modest Nature
EVs:4 HP / 252 Sp / 252 SpA
Draco Meteor
Flamethrower
Roost
Hidden Power Ground
I switched my Mixmence to a special mence due to lack of speed. so far it's just plain awesome with me, Flamethrower almost kills anything that's weak to it, and i Draco Meteor anything with a really high Def in order to exterminate threats like Curselax. Hidden Power Ground is for either Magnezone or Heatran.

The "Wall"

"Great Wall"@Leftovers (F)
Sturdy
Relaxed Nature
EVs:
252 HP / 162 Atk / 96 Def
Toxic Spikes
Explosion
Rapid Spin
Gyro Ball
The defensive wall of my team. I use it mainly as a Weavile counter since i got completely swept by one previously. It also comes in handy for a spinner since i have two sashers and as a way to set up Toxic Spikes.

Modest Nature
EVs:
228 HP / 174 Def / 12 SpA / 92 SpD
Ice Beam
Discharge
Magic Coat
Recover

My new support player. Mainly used as an anti-lead that can reflect any status back at the user with Magic Coat, or cause a status with Discharge. I use it though as a Gyarados counter and i've yet to test it in true battle.

I now know how to use Lucario to its full potential. It has been a very loyal and trustworthy Pokemon for me now, as I can use it to sweep whole teams! Pretty damned awesome of a Pokemon.

Adamant Nature
EVs:
252 HP / 244 Atk / 12 Def
Thunder Punch
Meteor Mash
Bullet Punch
Ice Punch

Pretty good Metagross for me. Life Orb allows me to switch moves if someon tries to switch a counter on me while still packing some punch. Thunder Punch for Gyarados, Mash and Bullet for STAB, and Ice Punch for Dragons. I don't think i need EQ since i have Chomp.

Not exactly Dragon Dance, but you should get it. One of my top 3 new favorite Pokemon now. Whenever I need Garchomp to do something, it always succeeds. With 1 SD it was able to OHKO a Timid Mewtwo, as well as sweep over half a team when i was losing. Truly a magnificent Pokemon in my books.

So far i've gotten a ton of wins with this team. I've noticed a huge weakness to Fire however, and i need to get some help to exterminate that weakness. I dont wish to get rid of the Dragons or Lucario in order to counter them, however. This is the team that incorporates as i'd like to call my "Salachomp" combo, Salamence takes down any Physical Wall while Garchomp takes down most special walls (minus Bronzong who Lucario takes care of)

Swampert: You might want Stone Edge in there because a)Bulky Gyra could taunt you and b) if Gar is gone Gyra would do a number to your team taking out Mence and Chomp with Ice Fang and Luke with EQ. Oh and it might help if you move some EV's from SpAtt to Att.

Snorlax: Good

Gengar: Take out Energy Ball for Explosion/Will o Wisp/Hypnosis. You got grounds covered with Swampert and STAB Draco Meteors.

all right i might actually give it HP Elec. do you have any tips on using my Lucario more effectively though? i still can't use it to its full potential

Life orb over Focus sash on luke. it really makes that much of a difference. Lucario should be ohkoing everything in sight that it can outspeed and if it cant outspeed it shouldnt -ever- be staying in unless you predict a non attacking move. So, focus sash really isnt that great, plus you factor in spikes and SR, both which hit luke and wreck sash.

Extreme Speed with Life Orb is the only way to OKHO faster Infernape, and Azelf.

If you really want to set up Lucario easily, you could make it your lead and keep the focus sash. That way sandstorm or stealth rock can't mess you up. It garentees an SD, but status attacks like Hypnosis can screw you over.

I'd give Gengar Hypnosis in place for Energy Ball, since you don't have a sleep inducer and it can be useful when the battle gets tough.

And I'd give Salamence Fire Blast, to be able to do significantly decent damage. Flamethrower (no stab) carries a terrible power.

haha well i've had a lot of success lately, i've updated my team which ill change in a second. i finally unlocked Lucario's potential, i can now sweep almost whole teams with it!

Your team has a huge mamoswine problem as well as a hail problem. Dusknoir threatens haqlf your team. Most choice scarfers will cause your team problems especially garchomp. I suggest Celebi over Foretress because your focus sashes should be life orbs anyway. Celebi with reflect can take on Garchomp quite easily and if Gyarados ever starts setting up you wont have to sacrifice metagross to kill it.

hmm, well so far im able to kill any Garchomp with ease by either
1.exploding on it with Azelf
or
2.Extremespeed with Lucario, Sashing the EQ, then another Extremespeed

as for Gyarados, Azelf is immune to EQ and can T-Bolt it as well. though Dusknoir can be a problem...

Why is Mence Relaxed? Also, considering a large number of Blisseys run Calm now, you can make it [Mild~252 SAtk, 252 Spd ] as you can still 2HKO Calm Bliss w/o the Atk EVs.

Considering a large number of Garchomps run Adamant, you can revenge them with yours. Also, Gross can switch in on an Outrage and take it down.

As for Gyara, You do not want to switch in Azelf on a Waterfall, by a misprediction, so you may want to add something to deal with it over either Chomp or Luke, as they seem to be doing the same thing.

OOPS! i forgot to edit the nature for Mence and the fact Dragon Pulse is actually HP Ground. well i just run both Luke and Chomp with the same job since well mainly while they both SD, they have different moves which is made for versatility. I now updated it with an effective Gyarados counter

just so you know, Salamence's ability is intimidate. and for Poygon2, an anti-lead pokemin is used as a lead, but he's still awesome.

I don't recommend using a focus sash on any pokemon (Lucario in your case) that isn't a lead. This is because with all of the spikes/stealth rock going around, his item becomes useless. I know you have Foretress, but once he's gone, so is your focus sash. I'd use life orb to OHKO things that you normally wouldn't without it.

oops i keep forgetting to edit everything around the Salamence -_- all right then i'll consider Life Orb for Lucario, but my strategy is just to bring it in on something it's weak to, SD on the switch, and sweep from there. Usually SR isnt even set up that realy in the game anyways, so if it gets a hit, it survives and it hits it back. and yeah i noticed i should make Porygon2 a lead

Dragon Claw would benefit more on Garchomp than Outrage, considering you have Sword Dance, Outrage will make you get locked into something and then can be defeated, you'll have much more fun with Dragon Claw which hits hard after a couple of SD's. I would rather put Pursuit > ThunderPunch on Metagross because Deoxys is gay, and Metagross should really be doing something to Deoxys. Life Orb over Focus Sash on Lucario like GB Packers said (who suck) because even if you try to Sword Dance, any pokemon can come into you, and you've just wasted a Item, and Life Orb will make you hit harder, so consider it. If you don't put Pursuit on Metagross, then Bullet Punch over Extremespeed would be a choice, since you lack something against Gengar.

I really don't know how you will handle a HP Ice MixApe, who currently takes on everything in this team. I would really consider replacing Porygon2 with a Vaporeon, or a Starmie, although Vaporeon can provide the team with some Wish Support, to heal up your sweepers. Porygon2 is a ok pokemon here, but the MixApe weak is really gonna kill you. Vaporeon can do what Porygon can, but unfortunetly you really lack a MixApe counter.

hmm I used to use Dragon Claw, but people suggested i switch to Outrage on it, so far both of them work for me so i might switch back to Dragon Claw. And i noticed my Mixape problem earlier today when i almost got pulverized by one, luckily Garchomp was able to kill it but only because it didnt pack HP Ice. ill think about a counter for that.

I hate to say this, but a lot of the advice from "newer" players should be taken with a grain of salt.

First off, Adamant Nature is a must for Swords Dance Lucario. You will never get the OHKO on Skarmory, Bronzong, Dusknoir, Deoxys-E, and more. That 10% damage cut is a major major issue. And never ever ever use Focus Sash, and never use it as a lead. SDluke is a late game cleaner and should be used as such. Keep him hidden until your opponent's walls are at 80% or less, and the sweepers that resist Extremespeed are removed. Life Orb is the only way Lucario can get enough power to OHKO everything he needs to, so don't even consider using it without the proper nature and item, because otherwise it's a useless waste of a team slot.

Jolly will only let you outrun positive base 80s, neutral base 95s and neutral base 100s. Extremespeed handles almost all of these pokemon anyways, so it's not that big of a deal.

On Garchomp, Outrage is pretty much a must-have. With it, you can 2HKO any pokemon in the game, and with Yache Berry, nothing can kill you back. If you play wisely, you can kill off their fast ice beamer by attacking straight up, such as EQing Starmie or something. Then, later on, you can sweep with Outrage, using your Yache Berry for protection. Without Outrage, you can't 2HKO Gliscor, Cressilia and others.

On Porygon2, 228 HP is more than enough, reaching 368 HP, which is a good leftovers number. Then you can pump up his defense stat instead. It won't make too much of a difference, but every little bit helps.

all right i took you guys's advice and changed Lucario's nature and item as well as keep Outrage. I'll change Porygon2 if i ever find a problem with it though.

Change the Porygon2 EVs to 228 HP and 174 Def and you're all set. Try the team out on Shoddy, it should perform better now.
