Team NWA- A Returning Player's First RMT

Prelude:
I have kinda been in and out sporadically of pokemon for around a year now, and I’m trying to spur myself back into action. I found this to be a fun little re-introduction thing, but all suggestions are welcome. I call it Team NWA.

Foreword:
I, being the oddball that I am, decided it would be a stupid, and therefore fun, idea to make a completely black team. I named it Team NWA. If you don’t know who NWA is, Google it. I also allowed shiny pokemon that turned black to be used. Heres the team.

In Depth:

weavile.png

Weavile (Weavile) (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Night Slash
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
Description: This is a classic lead Weavile that likes to beat stuff up. Tyranitars stupid enough to set up rocks get 2KO’d by Brick Break, and does the same to Aerodactyls. It works well as a lead, but could and probably should be replaced with something more consistent.

POTW.HaxorusDragonDance.png

Haxorus (Haxorus) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Outrage
Description: Choice Band Haxorus. What wont this thing do to you? Its borderline abusive. In the late game, this baby does work, especially if I’ve figured out what you have left. Only problem with this is speed, but its alright. Plus Haxorus looks like he means bizness.

xous-2.jpg

Zoroark (Zoroark) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Illusion
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Flamethrower
Description: I love love love this thing. I actually change around the back pokemon of my party to abuse this thing. My favorite has to be Sableye, because then theres that moment of “Did I just get swept by that thing??” Another good one is Chandelure cuz at first, things like Gengars wont think of using fighting moves on you. And by then itll be too late.

Chandelure (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Shadow Tag
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Overheat
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
Description: Revenge killer that’s all there really is to it. Its like a special attacking Dugtrio with this kinda set. Bring this in on almost anything in a favorable situation and get a free kill out of it. Also, theres always that fun point when you’ve whittled down their Machamp with Weavile and then you bring this baby in and our 4 armed body builder friend goes down.

___pogheys____Honchkrow_by_Rainbow_Cemetery.jpg

Honchkrow (Honchkrow) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Sucker Punch
- Heat Wave
- Superpower
- Brave Bird
Description: The pimp. Look he’s actually about to slap a b!tch. So Honchkrow was a rather late addition and I’m trying to find suitable replacements for it. As of now though, it can come in and do a good amount of damage to specific things, like Machamps, Infernape, Rankurusu (English names aren’t my specialty), Scizor, and others. I like it, if for nothing else, than for its sexiness.

302___Sableye_by_Winter_Freak.jpg

Sableye (Sableye) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Night Shade
- Recover
Description: Abusive. I love switching this in on ScarfChomps and Will-o-Wisping before they can do anything else. Machamp matchups are fun with this, scizor, and anything else that can be abused with this. When Zoroark gets OHKO’d before this, many people don’t see the fact that it was actually a Zoroark, so I get to bring this out to some surprise, which gets to more people than you would think. In short, I love this little guy.

Summary:
That’s the team. I hope you guys liked it and I’ll make formatting edits along the way. All suggestions welcome!

Well with so many dark types, fighting types will wreck you if sabelye and chandelure are gone, so you have to be conservative and keep away entry hazards that kill them. I would recommend a rapid spinner that can also set up hazards for you(forretress). Also, instead of a choice banded haxorus, why not try a scarf adamant haxorus with the same moves, it fixes your speed problem and haxorus already has a massive attack. This is all i have time for at the moment, but good luck.

Thanks Ill try the Haxorus thing. I would include a forretress (I have one in my actual team), but the point of this one was to stay monocolor and all. I couldnt find any black pokemon that was a spinner or supporter like that. Ill keep looking though
