Hi everyone, so I need your help about my team for SS. I play on Switch so I can only have one of each item.
I wanted to create a team with Dragapult I use this set :
Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
TImid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
I use Dragapult as a Wall Breaker, or a revenge killer. I put the timid nature to be faster than other Dragapult. U turn to see the next enemie's move.
With it I use a Clefable
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Teleport
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
So my Clefable is here to defend the Dragapult from the Fairy. It's a healer with Wish and easy way to switch safely with teleport.
I also use Mandibuzz to help my entire team
Mandibuzz @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 160 Def / 44 SpD / 56 Spe
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Defog
- U-turn
Basically, Mandibuzz is here to remove the Stealth Rock and the Spikes. I don't use the boots with it because the item is an another pokemon. It's a common set in the fact just the Sitrus berry to put something.
To complete the defense core I use Toxapex
Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Knock Off
Toxapex is here to counter Volcarona and Clefable, nice against Urshifu too. It's good with Mandibuzz and it's a nice pivot for my team I think.
But with mandibuzz and toxapex I have too weaknesses to electric, so I put a Hippowdon
Hippowdon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 8 Atk / 248 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
In my opinion Hippowdon is a good option, he can place the Stealth Rock, toxic the enemies, he's immune to electric, useful for toxapex and mandibuzz. Just the Sand stream might be a problem for my team, I don't know.
And Finally, the sweeper of my team: Volcarona
Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Psychic
- Bug Buzz
I just wanted to play Dragapult and Volcarona (now Cinderace is uber), obviously the dance n sweeper of the team. Psychic to counter toxapex flamethrower because it's constant. I know volcarona is good with Rillaboom, but I don't know who can I change. I saw a team with Rillaboom but without any Stealth rock or spikes, is it a good option for you guys ?
