Team rainBLOW

rainBLOW
crobat.png

#A020F0 the Crobat
Modest @ Lum Berry
252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
Nasty Plot
Sludge Bomb
Heat Wave
Air Slash

This is my ultimate Anti-Lead. He doesn't receive Flinch, thanks to Inner Focus. He outspeeds every non-scarfed OU Pokemon, barring Electrode and Aerodactyl, which allows him to set up a Nasty Plot before being Taunted. Sludge Bomb and Air Slash are my two primary STAB attacks, Sludge Bomb having the added effect of Poison, and Air Slash having Flinch. Heat wave is for Celebi and Jirachi, both of which are fairly common leads. The only Pokemon this dude should have an issue with is Heatran, and I have plenty to deal with that.

electivire.png

#FFCD00 the Electivire
Mild @ Expert Belt
36 Atk/252 SpA/220 Spe
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power Grass
Cross Chop
Flamethrower

One of my all-time favorite Pokemon is back for competitive play. This Electivire is built to handle anything. With amazing type coverage, the only things this won't get an Expert Belt boost on are Dragons and Spiritomb. I opted for the Hidden Power Grass since Salamence is no longer a threat. Most of my guys can take care of Dragonite and Flygon without an Ice- or Dragon-type move. With Crobat and Gyarados on the team, I'm expecting quite a few Electric attacks, making Electivire a viable option on my team.

celebi.png

#009F6B the Celebi
Bold @ Leftovers
252 HP/220 Def/36 Spe
Heal Bell
Grass Knot
Thunder Wave
Recover

Celebi absorbs status that many of my Pokemon will be targeted with. If I didn't predict the T-Wave or Will-O-Wisp, Heal Bell will get rid of it for me. It's my Physically Defensive Pokemon on this team, and I think it will do swimmingly. I was hoping to have a place for Leech Seed, but I just couldn't figure out what to remove.

gyarados.png

#C40233 the Gyarados
Adamant @ Leftovers
156 HP/72 Atk/96 Def/184 Spe
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Stone Edge
Taunt

Ah, the Bulky Gyarados. Of course, on the actual team, he is the shiny red version, to match the rainbow theme. Not only does it bait electric attacks for Electivire, but it can destroy someone's entire team. Dragon Dance on the switch, fire off a Taunt to prevent being T-Waved, (possibly another DDance after) and proceed to rape things in the face. With Waterfall and Stone Edge, the only things that will be able to resist Gyarados' attacks are Steel-Types. This, my friends, is why I have included the next Pokemon.

infernape.png

#FF7F00 the Infernape
Jolly @ Life Orb
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Fire Punch
Mach Punch

I know what you're thinking. "Swords Dance Infernape? WTF! Mixape is better!" That's where you're wrong, sir. This Infernape only has its STAB attacks, and that's all it needs. With one Swords Dance, Fire Punch OHKOs everything that is weak to it. Not only will it be easy as **** to set up, but it will also score many many OHKOs that my team needs so badly.

bronzong.png

#0000FF the Bronzong
Sassy @ Leftovers
252 HP/80 Atk/176 SpD
Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
Payback
Explosion

Finally, we arrive at my Special Wall. With Levitate, it can easily come in on an EQ meant for Ape. With the custom spread, it walls pretty well, while still packing a punch when it comes time to Explode. Set up rocks on the switch and Explode if I don't like what comes in. Pretty simple, really.

Crobat... interesting choice... and i honestly don't feel like it should be incredibly effective. a lead like azelf would kill it but if you had u-turn it would help with those situations because he is very very fast... he doesn't need defense terribly and is handier than a switch.

I don't have a problem with any of the other pokemon though, i never found crobat to be entirely effective. He is fast and is a creative lead for the team so I feel like he could be good in certain circumstances but all but speed is a fairly mediocre stat and spatt is downright appalling without a nasty plot... i'd replace sludge bomb mostly because it doesn't have sufficient coverage... trust me i used once on my gengar but not worth it

OH yeah forgot to add that you lack any way of phazing the baton teams
