OU RMT: Team Rainbows and Sunshine
AT A GLANCE:
LEAD/PHYSICAL WALL
Swampert (Grosz) @ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SpA
Moveset:
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Earthquake
I <3 Leadpert. He sets up SR which seems to be practically necessary in today's metagame. I can predict Taunts pretty well after fighting with this guy, so I can either use one of my offensive moves or switch accordingly. Ice Beam takes care of Salamence, Dragonite, and Flygon. Hydro Pump can kill Aerodactyl (as long as it doesn't have a Focus Sash). Earthquake is for dealing with Jolteon, Electivire, Heatran, Jirachi and Scizor. Swampert also doesn't take damage from Sandstorm, which is a huge plus when fighting leads like Hippowdon.
PHYSICAL WALL
Gliscor (Garth) @ Leftovers
Gender: Male
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Sand Veil
EV's: 244 HP/48 Def/216 Spd
Moveset:
- Earthquake
- Roost
- U-Turn
- Taunt
I'm really, really glad august pointed this Pokemon out to me. He covers my huge Fighting weakness, which eliminates threats like Machamp, SD Lucario and the occasional Medicham. Earthquake is STAB and takes care of Jolteon, Electivire, Lucario, and Machamp. Roost is for health regain, U-Turn for damage "on the go", and Taunt stops setups like Agility Empoleon.
SPECIAL SWEEPER
Lucario (Alphonse) @ Choice Specs
Gender: Male
Nature: Timid
Ability: Steadfast
EV's: 252 SpA/252 Speed/4 HP
Moveset:
- Aura Sphere
- HP Ice
- Dark Pulse
- Vacuum Wave
This Lucario is a freaking monster. With rediculous Special Attack, he tears a new asshole to almost any physical wall or sweeper. Aura Sphere is for STAB for Pokemon Lucario can outspeed, and Vacuum Wave is for finishing off and revenge killing. Dark Pulse is for messing around with Psychics and Ghosts with flinch in case Spiritomb goes down. HP Ice is to take care of dragons like (the rarely seen) Dragonite.
PHYSICAL WALL/SUPPORT/SCOUT
Vaporeon (Reaver) @ Leftovers
Gender: Male
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
EV's: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpA
Moveset:
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Surf
- Wish
- Protect
I can't even count the amount of times this watery dog has saved my ass. He can scout with Wish + Protect to help give me information on my opponent. He also serves as a physical wall with incredible defense and Wish + Protect stal.. HP Electric takes care of Gyrados and Starmie, although I have to be careful of Starmie's Thunderbolts. Surf gets rid of Infernape since Grass Knot doesn't do all that much damage to Vaporeon.
CURSELAX
Snorlax (Edvard) @ Leftovers
Gender: Male
Nature: Careful
Ability: Thick Fat
EV's: 168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
- Curse
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Fire Punch
This is a pretty standard Curselax. It serves as a special wall, but turns into a tank that can obliterate practically anything after it sets up its curses. He's also incredibly hard for stall teams to kill when Snorlax is my last Pokemon. Curse raises Snorlax's attack and defense while lowering its already garbage speed. Rest is for shrugging off status and health recovery. After a few curses, Body Slam takes care of Blissey and Fire Punch can take care of most Steel and Leaf types. Curselax counters Bronzong and Magnezone as well.
SPECIAL WALL/GHOST COUNTER
Spiritomb (Egon) @ Leftovers
Gender: Male
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 252 HP/160 Def/96 SpDef
Moveset:
- Rest
- Shadow Ball
- Sleep Talk
- Will O Wisp
Again, thanks to august for pointing out this Spiritomb set! This Spiritomb serves as a status absorber and a special wall. He completely walls most suicide Pokemon (notably Azelf, Forretress, and Metagross), as well as any Psychic and Ghost (especially Gengar). Spiritomb can also take on Swampert by stalling with Will O Wisp, Rest, and Sleep Talk.
FINAL GLANCE
so there you have it, that's the team I plan on using for Standard Wifi 1v1 play. I appreciate any suggestions, criticism, or comments you have. Thanks! :D

THREAT LIST
INTRODUCTION
I've been working on getting a good OU team for awhile now, and this is what I've finally come up with. I tried to use Pokemon I liked and not use legendaries, which I think I did successfully. Although this team has potential to be a decent stall team, I don't think it's at that point yet (and to be honest, I'm pretty glad about that). Anyways, here it is!

THREAT LIST
Aerodactyl: Swampert. I'm not worried about this thing at all.
Alakazam: Spiritomb comes in and usually just scares it away. If Spiritomb is down, I can send in Snorlax worse comes to worse.
Azelf: Spiritomb. It scares it away, and I can switch into it to eat its Explosion.
Breloom: Gliscor, although it scares the fuck out of me if Gliscor is down.
Dragonite: Swampert. Takes neutral hits and slams back with Ice Beam.
Dugtrio: Swampert/Vaporeon. Sampert can Hydro Pump it, and Vaporeon can just Surf it.
Electivire: Swampert. I can switch into Gliscor as well if Swampert is down, but I have to be really careful of Ice Punch.
Empoleon: Vaporeon usually doesn't have much of a problem handling this thing.
Flygon: Swampert. Worse comes to worse, I'll have to sacrifice a Pokemon and use Lucario with HP Ice.
Gengar: Spiritomb completely walls this thing, and Snorlax has no trouble with it either.
Gyrados: Vaporeon. The RestTalk set is really annoying to kill, however.
Heatran: Swampert, Vaporeon and Gliscor.
Heracross: Gliscor can hopefully wall it long enough to get its HP down and can U-Turn to Lucario to finish him off.
Infernape: Vaporeon takes laughable damage from Grass Knot and can Surf it to death.
Jirachi: Spiritomb. Snorlax can come in as well, but I need to be careful about Iron Head.
Jolteon: Gliscor or Swampert. I've never had a problem with it.
Kingdra: I fucking hate this thing. I have to hope to God that it isn't the Dragon Dance set or I'm screwed to no end. If it isn't, Vaporeon can usually come in with little to no problem.
Latias: Snorlax and Spiritomb both wall her completely.
Lucario: Gliscor, but Ice Punch fucks me over. I seriously need a solution to this. >_>;
Machamp: Spiritomb has no problem, but I have to be careful about using Wil-O-Wisp if it has Guts.
Magnezone: Lucario can come in and Vacuum Wave or Snorlax can stall it.
Mamoswine: Swampert can switch in onto it. If Swampert dies, I can then switch into Lucario and Vacuum Wave it to death.
Metagross: Spiritomb and Snorlax pretty much take this thing with little to no trouble whatsoever.
Porygon-Z: Actually, this has given me a problem in the past. If it gets off a Nasty Plot, I'm pretty much fucked. Spiritomb doesn't have the Special Defense to wall it after NP, and it can kill Snorlax as well.
Rhyperior: Swampert and Vaporeon.
Salamence: Swampert can shrug off 1-2 hits, but I need to be really careful about how I approach it. If it kills Swampert, I'm kind of fucked unless Lucario can HP Ice it.
Scizor: Vaporeon takes little damage from Bullet Punch and can hit back with Surf/HP Electric.
Starmie: Vaporeon, but I need to avoid Thunderbolt like the plague. I've never had problems with it, to be honest.
Togekiss: I pretty much just cry in the corner when I see this fairy...thing thrown into the battle.
Tyranitar: Swampert. If he dies, I can finish him off with Lucario.
Weavile: Spiritomb, although Vaporeon can come in if needed.
Yanmega: Snorlax, Swampert, and Spiritomb can come in with little to no problem.
Alakazam: Spiritomb comes in and usually just scares it away. If Spiritomb is down, I can send in Snorlax worse comes to worse.
Azelf: Spiritomb. It scares it away, and I can switch into it to eat its Explosion.

DEFENSIVE THREAT LIST
Blissey: Snorlax.
Bronzong: Snorlax and Spiritomb.
Celebi: Snorlax.
Cresselia: Spiritomb, although it can be a bitch to kill if it's the last Pokemon.
Donphan: Swampert and Vaporeon.
Forretress: Spiritomb. Snorlax also doesn't have much of a problem if it's Cursed and can Fire Punch it.
Gliscor: Swampert, Lucario on the switch.
Hippowdon: Swampert and Vaporeon.
Skarmory: Vaporeon.
Snorlax: My Snorlax can usually finish off another with little to no problem. Gliscor can also annoy Snorlax as well.
Suicune: I hate Suicune. With a passion.
Swampert: Spiritomb can shrug off his damage and can just stall with Will-O-Wisp and Rest.
Tentacruel: Swampert, although I need to be careful of Poisin. Now that I think about it, Toxic Spikes seriously fucks up my team. I mean, it's not even Tentacruel. Its just his stupid Toxic Spikes.
Vaporeon: Vaporeon, sadly. xD
Zapdos: Gliscor can switch in if it isn't carrying HP Ice, and Snorlax can switch in if it doesn't have Metal Sound. I'm not worried about Zapdos and it doesn't give me too much of a problem.
Blissey: Snorlax.
Bronzong: Snorlax and Spiritomb.
Celebi: Snorlax.
Cresselia: Spiritomb, although it can be a bitch to kill if it's the last Pokemon.
Donphan: Swampert and Vaporeon.
