Team Really Queer

I was bored one afternoon, and I was debating on to do either a stall team or a really queer team. I decided to make a really queer team. Originally this team was called "Team Rage Quit", then Blazin Kickin Chicken suggested me "Team Really Queer". I'll just say this now, credits go to Blazin Kickin Chicken for most of the nicknames.

Anywho, let us begin.

TEAM REALLY QUEER - Team Building

cresselia-f.png

I decided to base this really queer team off on Cresselia. Sure she's is weak to common OU threats, but she has 120/120/130 base defenses I'm not going to pass.

I needed something to counter Tyranitar, and Swampert is a great Tyranitar counter. Taking most of it's moves and shutting it down with a STAB Earthquake, and lay rocks up when I have the chance to.

I then needed a Scizor counter. Being Rotom the beast that can take any of Scizor's moves but Pursuit, it is a great Scizor counter. Rotom-H's Thunderbolt will 2HKO Scizor, and Overheat will OHKO.

With Togekiss' haxing powers, it brings this team to a whole new level of (BAN ME PLEASE)ry. This also serves as my Special MixApe counter. It can take any of it's moves, paralyze it and then cripple it even more with Air Slash. If the MixApe weree to be physical, I'd just switch Cresselia in.

If you didn't notice, a bit of my team is Gengar weak. I then needed something to destroy that shadow. Scizor will do the job by killing Gengar after Stealth Rock damage. I might consider using Choice Scarf Tyranitar, but I'll stick with Scizor for now.

Next I wanted an Anti Lead, and Dragonite does do the job. 2HKOing most leads out there, Dragonite is a great Anti Lead, and my team needs its services.

I then replaced four of my team members with Pokemon that work with Sandstorm so I have both Stealth Rock and Sandstorm. Jirachi has the same job a Togekiss, Flygon serves as a revenge killer, Tyranitar serves as a Gengar exterminator and Suicune replaces Cresselia.

Shall we begin by seeing it with a better look? Alright. (Changes will be in red)

dragonite.png

"Drag Queen" The Dragonite @ Life Orb
Inner Focus
252 Atk/252 SpA/4 Spe
Quiet Nature (+SpA, -Spe)
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Extremespeed
-Superpower

This thing is such a good Anti Lead, and with good reasons. Since a lot of Metagross Leads carry Lum Berry nowadays fearing Machamp, I can just go for the Fire Blast, they switch into a physical wall like Skarmory for example and OHKO it. Draco Meteor does great damage to most leads who don't resist it, and maybe even OHKO's them. Extremespeed is to rack up some damage on things I think are faster. Superpower works wonders against Rock/Steel/Dark types.

Matchups against common leads:

azelf.png
Easy. Extremespeed, let it set up it's rocks, and Extremespeed again. If it explodes instead of setting up rocks, I can go into Swampert and set up my own rocks depending on what my opponent switches into.

aerodactyl.png
It'll probably set rocks up first turn as I Draco Meteor. Even if it goes for Rock Slide, it shouldn't OHKO due to Dragonite's natural bulk.

swampert.png
I'll just go for Draco Meteor as it goes for Ice Beam which shouldn't OHKO (If a Lead Gliscor can live one, Dragonite should too), then Earthquake.

metagross.png
Fire Blast first turn to get rid of the Occa Berry, it if has Lum, he will probably expect me to go for Earthquake, therefore send in a physical wall like Skarmory, Gliscor, Hippowdon, etc., and the physical wall will take a chunk of damage from the Fire Blast, then probably Extremespeed or switch depending on the occasion.

jirachi.png
Go straight for the Fire Blast as it Tricks/Sets up rocks, then either Fire Blast again or switch into Swampert, depends on what my opponent does.

infernape.png
Draco Meteor it as it goes into some physical wall expecting the Earthquake. If that's not the case, I'll just Extremespeed the second turn.

machamp.png
Switch into Swampert to take the Ice Punch. Leaves me open with multiple options on what to do from there.

roserade.png
I haven't got much to sleep fodder, so I'll just stay in and leave Dragonite as sleep fodder. I'll just play from there.

tyranitar.png
Draw a Stone Edge and switch into Swampert, set rocks up and then take it out if it decides to stay in.
gliscor.png
Can't do jack shit to me unless it carries Stone Edge, which I highly doubt. I'll just play safe and go for the Draco Meteor.

heatran.png
OHKOs with Superpower. I haven't got anything else to do.

Purpose of the EVs: To rack up as much damage as possible to any team.

swampert.png

"PimpinPert" The Swampert @ Leftovers
Torrent
240 HP/216 Def/52 SpD
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spe)
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Roar

Now that the opponent's lead is gone thanks to Dragonite, it's time to switch Swampert in and set up my rocks, counter Tyranitar and Roar sweepers away after taking the hit.

Purpose of the EVs: To take hits from most offensive threats and Roar/damage them.

385.png

"Rachi Rape" The Jirachi @ Leftovers
Serene Grace
164 HP/168 Atk/176 Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
-Substitute
-Thunder Wave
-Iron Head
-Fire Punch

Jirachi serves the purpose to really piss the opponent off. After setting up a Substitute, prediction eases and I can go for Iron Head or Fire Punch depending on what I'm fighting. Iron Punch works for Tyranitar and pretty much be an annoyer to anything and Fire Head works for Scizor, Magnezone, etc.

Purpose of the EVs: Setting up Substitutes, annoying the shit out of everything and outspeed a few thing that can hit Jirachi hard.

330.gif

"Fly-gone" The Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Levitate
252 Atk/4 SpD/252 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-U-turn
-Stone Edge

Flygon serves as a revenge killer as it kills Gyarados, Dragonite, Gengar, Jolteon, Heatran and more. Not much to say. I believe Flygon needs no intro whatsoever.

Purpose of the EVs: Max Speed allow it to outrun mostly everything except for enemy base 100 speed (or more) scarfers. Max Attack lets it hit as hard as Flygon possibly can.

tyranitar_sprite.png

"Reptar" The Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Sand Stream
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
-Stone Edge
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Earthquake

With a Gengar weak team, I need something to kill it. So Tyranitar will do the job by OHKOing it and doing monstrous damage to anything else. With a Choice Scarf, it will outrun most of it's troubles and kill them. Stone Edge will do great damage to anything that doesn't resist it. Crunch does A LOT to Celebi and other Psychic/Ghost types. Pursuit traps choiced Gengars that are locked onto Shadow Ball and etc., and finally, Earthquake OHKO's Infernape and Heatran.

Purpose of the EVs: Same as Flygon.

245.png

"Mizukage" The Suicune @ Leftovers
Pressure
252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Surf
-Calm Mind
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Okay, so since Cresselia's recovery moves is fucked by Sandstorm, I had to replace it with the next best thing. I can Pressure stall and deliver back some damage with a boosted Surf. The only problems now are Celebi and Vaporeon.

Purpose of the EVs: Maxing out HP and Defense for maximum physical bulk. I don't need to boost special defense because of Calm Mind.

Well there you have it. The team that has caused so much trouble to everyone who faced it. I have literally lost twice AND ONLY TWICE with this team. I am serious. Out of all the matches I've done with this team (around 20 test matches), I have only lost twice.

Anyway, let us bring this RMT to an end...

TEAM REALLY QUEER - One last look

Thank you everyone who have helped me with this team (testing, nicknaming, etc.).

I've used that lead Dragonite and found Superpower was more useful; it OHKOes Shuca Tran and Tyranitar.

I can hardly recommend using Scizor to counter Gengar. Most either carry HP Fire or have a Magnezone waiting in the wings to trap and KO Scizor, a problem Tyranitar doesn't have. To cope with the Sandstorm you could try a Calm Minding Jirachi over Cress, or a CroCune or a few others.

The problem with using a Scarfed Rotom to check Gyarados is its Pursuit weakness. Many teams (mine, for one) use bulky DD Gyara in conjuction with a trapper because Scarfers are the easiest to handle Gyara nowadays, and once Rotom is gone DD Gyara can destroy you. So I would say that this is a large problem. Scarf Jirachi is an option since it can revenge kill Gyara and Scizor too, but then you can be caught by Magnezone, who often works alongside Gyara as well.

I guess you could use a ParaFlinching Jirachi over Togekiss with Fire Punch for Scizor and Magnezone, and a Scarfed Flygon over Rotom to revenge kill Gyarados, Dragonite, Gengar, Jolteon, Heatran, a ton of stuff.

Good luck.

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

You said Draw a Trick and switch into Rotom-H

you don't have rotom-h on your team anymore. switch into swampert after it tricks?

Well, I've got a few possible changes, one of them is replacing Suicune. Reason being is because I get my sweeps fucked up by Vappy and Celebi. I will look for something to replace it. Any ideas?
