Team RedEyedDeath

So, This is my first RMT here and I hope its enough what i post here because I don't want to write a novel (I am austrian so sorry for my terrible English!)

This Team climbed up at Ladder till I had about 1540 points, so its not that bad, but then I got haxed, and haxed, and haxed, (...) down.

When I bulid this Team i first just wanted to use Breloom in a defensive Team and i don't really want to replace it.

In Depth:

bronzong.png

Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Ability: Heatproof
EVs: 252 HP/84 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Trick
- Stealth Rock

Description:
I don't exactly know why I chose him to lead, but hell it works. I got the Rocks up every match and in Midgame i could often Trick the Macho Brace away or kill something. Heatproof saved my ass a hundred times, and I only got powned because of this one time. He can counter a lot of things and cripples often some gyaras which switch in. Many persons will say that this lead can't do much in Platinum but Theoryman isn't practice. I am absolutely happy with it.

magnezone.png

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 142 HP/114 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Magnet Rise
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute

Description:
This Guy is incredible. He comes in, in things like CB Scizor puts up a sub and then kills it. I dont know why but often some guys switch in Gliscor in my subbed Magnezone and then i can kill them off (same is for flygon/salamence..). One of the Mons against that I can't do anything is Blissey D: . Maybe I will play Toxic>Magnet Rise to cripple some swamps and it would also help to cripple some blisseys. The Problem is that I can't take out Metagross effectively then.

starmie.png

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 136 HP/152 Def/220 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Rapid Spin
- Recover

Description:
This Guy handles the Rocks, counters Gyarados and Infernape and a lot of other stuff. Surf is for te STAB and to pown Infernape and Heatran. Thunderbolt is against Gyarados and other bulky waters. Rapid Spin removes the Rocks and or the Spikes which annoy me because my Team has no Wisher. No SR up also helps Salamence a lot which can then spam intimidate. Recover is for the Recovery.
I have thought of using [Fire] anywhere, buti don't see a slot which I can replace with it. This thing hates like Magnezone Blissey the Pink Blob :/

salamence.png

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 16 Atk/252 Spd/240 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Brick Break
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Roost

Description:
One of the most dangerous stallbreakers. MixMence. Yeah I know its Standart but it works how hell. When there are no SR up this thing can sweep really good, but even with them its good. Magnezone also helps this guy with taking out Scizor. Nothing that has no resistance against Draco meteor can really take this. Its also my best Switch in for Lucario and I can spam intimidate against Physical sweepers
.

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar
@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Ice Beam
- Stone Edge

Description:
At First I had a DD Tar with a Lum over this which worked great but I noticed that I had Problems with LoStarmie and a little bit of Problems with Latias. This thing handles them and kills them off easily. Not many expect a ScarfTar (as well I build this Team about 4 months ago but now the number of scarftar has raised). It also kills off Celebi. I pretty like this guy because he does his job very well.

---

breloom.png

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP/244 Atk/220 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Spore
- Leech Seed

Description:
Leech Seed Loom is best. This thing powns so many people. The Strategy is simple: Put something into sleep, use substitute, sweep.
Leech Seed is the best move for the last Slot becuase it helps me with recovery and annoys my opponents to hell :D
Many of his Switch-Ins does Absolutely not like Leech seed and even after an Intimidate I do a chunk of damage to Gyarados
Often comes mence into this, but Mence does absolutely not like Leech Seed. You can't say much more to this guy but he's incredible.

So I don't really want to write a Threadlist. If I have to pm me and i will see when I can edit it.

so, now rate please

This team looks very solid. One thing I can see though is if DDSala sets up on Starmie, it's game over. Scizor can handle Latias and Starmie like you said you had problems with, and also check Scizor. I'd use CBScizor over your current Tyranitar to help with Salamence. It checks a lot of threats other than Salamence too, like Tyranitar. I'd try this, because I can't see anything that would open up as a result. I hope it helps, and good luck!

Yes i hate DD Salamence but i think its not THAT problem :/
He Has to use outrage against my Salamence or even Starmie and then Bronzong/Magnezone kill it off. If my opponent hasnt seenthe trait of my zong befre and i have more than the half of my hp its also enough to kill him.

Tbh I would a Lum Berry on Bronzong, because sleep from Roserade is inevitable, and also, I would change his ability to Levitate because Metagross carries Earthquake, and Metagross seems pretty common.

95% of all metagross leads don't even try to use an earthquake :/ Heatproof saved me too often that i would change it.

Lum Berry helps me one Time but then its useless D: aswell sleep leads aren't that often anymore...
Macho Brace was very useful till now 'cause i could cripple a Offensive Mon that gave me problems when something was dead, and it boost the power of my gyro ball.

You're pretty weak to Salamence, DD'ers in particular. I'd say try using CB Scizor over Breloom. Bullet Punch is awesome for revenge killing and U-turn is great for scouting and makes good use of your SR support.

On your scarf Tyranitar you should REALLY have Earthquake somewhere. One of ScarfTar's main purposes is to stop SD Lucario and yet it resists all of your moves. Definetely put Earthquake over Crunch or Pursuit (probably Pursuit) since there's no need for 2 dark moves. Also consider Fire Blast over Ice Beam, Stone Edge already hits Flying types, and currently you have nothing to hit Skarmory and Forretress with. Surprising them on the switch-in with a Fire Blast is awesome and can earn you a huge advantage in the match.

Lastly, try Scarf Rotom-H over Magnezone. Slow Magnezone's aren't really too great in the current metagame and Scarf Rotom with Trick will give you an edge against stall, most stall teams don't have a Pokemon that likes holding Scarf. This'll also give you a second weapon to use against DD Gyara since if Starmie dies prematurely then it runs all over your team.

scizor sucks against salamence ;_; nearly every second salamence player uses magnezone in combo with it :/
Theorymon isn't practice. I've lost one time to ddmence and that was when i got mean locked by an umpreon and set to sleep >_< (i didn't thought about mean lock...)

Second Thing: I am ok with that 'cause i hate lucario and i don't really need the Ice Beam. But I would put either EQ or Fblast>Ice Beam because both moves are really useful against Things like latias at low health but without sr which can recover when it switches out (a pretty bad example lol). I will test both Moves but I think to Fblast because it does Lucario about 85% dmg (avg.).

I will Test Scarfrotom > Magnezone because the Team really is slow and i have an second edge against lucario. But i think that submaggy is really underrated because it has enough chances to put up a sub and kill something (393 satk are not bad...)

so thanks
