Team Rejected (OU Team)

Team Rejected
Hello people at smogon. This is my 1st time posting at RMT. I have been rejected two times at RMT due to lack of info in my part. I have recieved my first ever infraction point due posting two bad threads. Hopefully this thread explains my pokemon a little bit better

The Lead

Jirachi ( Kempachi)

@Choice Scarf
Hp 80/ Attack 252 / SpD 178

Iron Head
Stealth Rocks
Trick
U-Turn

Choosing this Infamous Jirachi lead is the best for beginners. It stops many common leads such as Azelf, Skarm, Bronzong, Areodactyl, Smeargle and much more due to Trick.

Trick
works wonders with Choice Scarf. It completely demolishes any team trying to set up. Choice Scarfing a Blissy feels so good since it shuts down her purpose. Choice Scarfing a Bronzong makes Gryo Ball Do little damage. Choice Scarfing anything produces a switch and it renders stallers useless.

U-Turn
Helps so much when you find yourself up against a pokemon that will kill you. This + predictions skills will help you out a lot if you still kept that choice scarf.

Stealth Rocks So what are you going to do once you Trick a CB? Set UP SOME ROCKS. Rocks can completely demolish birds on the switch.

Iron Head
Have any Rock/Ice Types you detest? You ever want to hax a win? Iron Head is so haxxy. It takes out Areodactyl so fast. Due to sheer haxx you can piss so many people off. Stab Iron Head is no joke.

Revenge Killer #1
Heatran ( Aka Kevin Tran)

Explosion
Earth Power
Fire Blast
Hidden Power Ice

Standard Scarfed Heatran.
I chose heatran because it provides a nice revenge kill to BP Scizor. Scizor is so OU right now its not even funny. Heatran looks bad ass, why wouldnt you pick him?

Explosion
~ Explosion is nothing to laugh at. 150 base power is not funny.Save your heatran for later once its health is down. Death Fodder something and Explosion FTW.

Earth Power ~ Switch in heatran on a fire punch or flamethrow and KO with Earth Power. Use this to predict the Fire blast on your opponents FB and destroy there heatran with Earth Power. Nuff Said

Fire Blast ~ Stabbed Fire Blast Is Nothing To Laugh At. This is his main move. It will do decent damage to anything thats not TTar.

SWEEPER

TTar (Aka Retard)

Sand Stream
@Leftovers
6 HP/ 252 Att/ 252 SpD

Crunch
DDance
Stone Edge
Fire Punch

RETARD for the win. I choose TTar because of his ability to switch in, kill, and his ability sand stream, that tank physical moves.

Crunch ~ Take that Latias. Imagine all that Calm Mind taken away due to a crunch. Crunch is awesome because it can destroy anything if TTar hits.

Stone Edge
~ For the Mence. Stone edge is awesome because its STAB, and its usually his primary attacking move because of the power.

DDance ~ A DDance Ttar is nothing to mess with. With some DDances and 252 Speed Eved It could take out most threats before it takes out TTar. A DDance could potentionally mean the sweep of entire teams ( IF scizor or metagross isn't there).

Fire Punch ~
Just for those Metagross and Scizor's that been causing so much havoc on OU.

Revenge Killer 2
Hitmonlee ( aka Chun Lee)

EQ
Mach Punch
Close Combat
Stone Edge

Yes you guys know you love Chun effin Lee. Spinning Bird Kick. Hitmonlee Kills everything that Heatran doesnt. Its massave attack kills, and it will do decent damage to anything that packs Intimidate.

EQ
~ Are you tired of all those TTars, Heatrans, or just anything steel/rock/ice type? Just Revenge Kill them with EQ =].

Mach Punch~ I am running Mach Punch Simple to get damage on that effin Scizor. Thats basically it.

Close Combat~ Stab Close combat is too good. This Kills everything that EQ doesnt kill.

Stone Edge ~ Bye bye Mence. This move is basically to damage anything that packs Intimidate

Sweeper/Staller
Latias ( Aka Penis)
latias.png

Timid
Levitate
@Leftovers
128 Hp/ 128 att/ 252 SpD

Calm Mind
Refresh
Recover
Dragon Pulse

This is one the pokemon that will make people cringe. No one likes facing it but everybody loves using it. I call it stalleeper for stupid purposes of making a nick name. This pokemon is great for switching in with anything that inflicts status and it could tank moves due to its nice typing and stats.

Calm Mind ~ Almost nothing can stop a CM Latias that isnt steel. One or two Calm Minds and you are off too sweep entire teams.

Refresh
~ With Refresh you can basically switch in on the status. Free Switch in. Yay =]

Recover ~ With Recover and CM you can beat Blissy with Ice Beam if you dont get freeze Hax. CM Latias will tank Blissy's Ice Beam with a breeze

Dragon Pulse ~ Penis Used Dragon Pulse.... Ew.... Anyways a stabbed CM dragon pulse is to be feared. Dragon Typing almost kills everything born.

Toxic Stallller
Cradily
( Black Person)
cradily.png

Careful
Suction Cups
@Leftovers
Hp 252/ 160 Def/ 96 Spd

Recover
Rockslide
Stealth Rocks
Toxic

This will be short since its basic staller. I chose Cradilly over other pokemon just because it has excellent Def and SpeD. It is my current UU staller but I might change to Quagsire. Its main purpose is to stall.

The only thing that keeps this pokemon from stalling is Toxic. It will lose to a blissy with heal bell but Latias takes cares of stalling pokemon.

Recover
~ How can you be a good staller if you cant recover? Toxic Recover seems excellent

Stealth Rocks~ If Jirachi Dies its up to the staller to set up the rocks. Once it toxics, it can SR on the switch

Rock Slide
~ For Stab. I honestly dont know what to do with this so I just followed the guide and gave it Rock Slide. I honestly never use this move.

Toxic ~ How can one truely stall without this stupid status. Toxic is too good. Toxic something and stall it out or Toxic something and get a free switch if they use heal bell or rest next turn.

Threat List:
212.png
- Scizor:
If someone is running a BP Scizor and I cant kill it early I basically lose. This pokemon is too good. No wonder so many people run Scizor now. Dam Steel Priority.

248.png
- Tyranitar: EQ varriants beats half of my team but Iron Jirachi Kills it.
376.png
- Metagross: I get effed
130.png
- Gyarados: Hitmonlee and Latias do decent against it.
227.png
- Skarmory: I'm Effed
485.png
- Heatran: Handled with out a problem by Tyranitar my own Heatran
462.png
- Magnezone: Beaten by Heatran

385.png
- Jirachi: Heatran can take an Iron Head
448.png
- Lucario: I honestly dont know about this one. A sword danced Luc kills me.
121.png
- Starmie: Latias walls it hard. So does Cradilly
482.png
- Azelf: Jirachi Kills it with Iron Head. Walls it as well/
392.png
-
Infernape: Hitmonlee can revenge kill the nape
242.png
- Blissey: Walled hard agaisnt Latias and Killed by Hitmonlee
437.png
- Bronzong: It can't really hurt anything. Jirachi Kills it.
251.png
- Celebi: Heatran Kills it
260.png
- Swampert: Set up bait for Gyarados. Scizor does ~35% with U-turn.
407.png
- Roserade: Annoying. Really annoying. Heatran can switch in if I dont fall asleep.
373.png
- Salamence: 3 Pokemon Kill Mence. Latias Ttar and Hitmonlee
094.png
- Gengar: Im weak against gengar. Dam Focas Blast and shadow ball.
245.png
- Suicune: I can destroy with Trick. CS suicine is not a good thing if its main object is to wall and calm mind
205.png
-Forretress: Revenge Kill for hitmonlee
134.png
- Vaporeon: Stalled by Latias and Cradilly
145.png
- Zapdos: Tyranitar
230.png
-Kingdra: If it sets up it could potentially sweep my team.
142.png
- Aerodactyl: Iron Head Nuff Said
472.png
- Gliscor: Dents my team bad

Hello.

One Pokemon you are fairly weak to is Gyarados. Hitmonlee cannot switch in at all, and worse than that is if Stone Edge misses when you finally bring him in. Latias can come in pretty well, but won't be doing enough damage with just Dragon Pulse. It'll end up being 2HKOed by a boosted Stone Edge. I suggest replacing Refresh on Latias with Thunderbolt. Yes, this means you won't be coming in on Blissey to set up, but your team doesn't seem to have too many problems with Bliss. Hitmonlee comes in easily thanks to Limber and OHKOes, while Jirachi and Tyranitar can both defeat Blissey as well. With Thunderbolt, Gyarados is not a problem at all, as only a Life Orb Bounce has a chance to OHKO, but that is seldom seen, while Thunderbolt should easily OHKO any offensive Gyarados.

Another troublesome Pokemon is Lucario. Your only answer to it is Choice Scarf Heatran, who cannot reliably switch in, meaning you are going to have to let something die in most cases before bringing him in. I think a Gliscor will be very beneficial to your team as a replacement for Cradily.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Nature: Jolly / EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
~ Earthquake / Roost / Taunt / Toxic or U-turn

Gliscor beats just about every Lucario out there. Swords Dance Lucario can only beat you occassionally if it has Ice Punch, but it has to use that on the switch. Gliscor can Toxic stall much like Cradily, but is actually more effective being faster and able to use Taunt. Taunt shuts down many walls who would otherwise recover off Toxic damage. No longer will Hippowdon Slack Off or Skarmory set up Spikes in your face. You can outstall many walls this way. You can also use Toxic to bring in a quick counter after Taunting something, while also doing good damage to Celebi.

I would give Tyranitar a Babiri Berry or even a Chople Berry. With a Babiri Berry, Scizor can no longer OHKO you with Bullet Punch while you safely OHKO with Fire Punch. You can also beat Metagross like this, surviving the Meteor Mash and 2HKOing with Fire Punch. Chople Berry would be for Gengar, who you said troubles you. Tyranitar can easily come in on a Shadow Ball and Dragon Dance in its face, then proceed to OHKO next turn with Crunch.

Earthquake has really no purpose on Hitmonlee. Close Combat is stronger in almost every situation, hitting all Steel/Rock/Ice-types harder, bar Magnezone and Heatran who are OHKOed anyway, and the rare Froslass. I would suggest replacing Earthquake with perhaps Sucker Punch, just for Gengar. Quite frankly, Hitmonlee isn't the best choice as a Choice Scarf Fighting-type. I believe Heracross would perform the role better, same EVs, just with Close Combat / Megahorn / Night Slash or Pursuit / Stone Edge. Heracross is stronger than Hitmonlee and has another STAB attack, while also having Pursuit for Gengar, giving you a good check to it. Although Heracross isn't immune to paralysis, it does have Guts, which can make it incredibly powerful when statused. Good luck.

(PS- Master tutor BLOO, if you are reading this PM me on what to improve!)

Wow I cannot believe how much thanks I can give. I am sticking to Hitmonlee just because of limber and his ability to use Sucker Punch. Sucker Punch shuts down CS Gengar.

Gyrados. I had minor problems with him but it may be due to being lucky with stone edge + stealth rocks. Intimidate Kills Hitmonlee. If Gyrados becomes a major problem I will highly consider Tbolt than Dragon Pulse. I just prefer Dragon Pulse right now because I can sweep efficiently because its a rarity that anyone resists it. It also kills the ever popular dragons.

I will take your advice and switch Cradilly to Gliscor and tell you how that works out.
Anyone else can give me advice?
