Team Taki (with a side of me)

Ok so I saw Taki battling on shoddy and started testing what was basically his team. It boosted my rating from 1420 to 1460 in a day so for me, its pretty successful. Since it is not fully mine, I don't really know what to say about it besides results so here we go.

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/64 Atk/24 Spd/168 SAtk
Quiet nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Punch
- Fire Blast
- Substitute

So this boah works wonders. noobs quit when it kills 2 of their pokes right of the bat. Subs, on the switch to hopfully a steel and bam one down. Then, it gets 2 more hits in on somthing else hopfully for the kill.

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Quick Attack
- Iron Head
- Pursuit

A place where taki and I differ is scizor. I like the cb set because of the sheer power it can accomplish with U-turn. This beats things up unrelentlessly and is great in tandem with my hard hitters.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Ice Beam
- Surf

Why Halo thar gyra. Yes of course dd up and get 2hkoed while dd waterfall does 37%. This surprises the crap out of gyrados and is my main gyra counter. Also counters heatran which is a problem for this team. The other atks are for coverage and standard mixpert.

Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Roost
- U-turn

So the main counter to hera and lucario was needed on this team. U-turn out when you come into hera to get a hard hitter in on the switch. Earthquake for STAB and coverage, Ice Fang for dragons and roost for healing.

Deoxys-e @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

Yet again deoxys-s finds his way into one of My* teams. This time, as a pure lategame special sweeper. Hp fire is devastating on jirachi and metagross, deoxys's main counters. Basically, revenge kill and lategame sweep.

Metagross @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk/236 Spd/20 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Explosion
- Meteor Mash

This is the random spot that I am most willing to replace. This thing is pure ownege though. Grass knot pounds pert and hp fire stomps on steels. Meteor Mash, well mashes the usual stuff while explosion allows him to take a poke down with him.

This team is very successful, but lately, the winning streaks are less and it loses a bit more. Any help would be appriciated.

You have a really solid-looking team there. My only complaint would be about deoxys-e. It seems like he's a little fragile to be sweeping if he's the last poke left. With metagross gone, it looks like suicune could really do a number on you. Maybe replace deoxys-e with something like porygonz for the endgame sweeping--porygon isn't quite as fast, but with a nasty plot (and maybe subsalac as well,) it will deliver. It also can come in on random rests to force switchout no matter what the poke is.

I also use this team sometimes:

ttar(orbed stone edge/dd/ice beam/fire blast) lazy to put the EVs
chomp(standard yachy berry)
standard zone with hp ice
cune (cm/beam/rest/surf)
celebi(t-wave/grassknot/leech/recover)
gengar(200 attack orbed 1hko bliss)

oo well i have many good teams but i got myself banned in shoddy on purpose for spamming, it said banned for 10 years lol.
I actually wanted to quit and after all my exp, this game is 90% luck when it's between two good battlers.

have fun.
