Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Focus Blast
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

Standard, Hypnosis is the first step unless i battle an opposing Gengar or Azelf, as they may outspeed me. Heatran comes in then to save the day.
I dont know if it is a good idea to reveal my Scarfer at the start, but i cant let my opponent set up Rocks, as i am switching around a lot.

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Extremespeed
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Crunch

The first time i ever use it in my team, and it is great. After a SD only very few pokemon can stop it, and Metagross can boom them away :P X-speed is very useful aswell, no need to explain it here.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion
- Bullet Punch

Is is just there for priotiy and boom. Its a counter for some Pokemon, which would give me trouble else aswell, like Deoxys-E and Weavile.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP/176 Def/36 Spd/56 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Recover
- Grass Knot
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock

The most reliable Tank and "Rocker" so far, counters Gyarados, all water tanks and a lot of other stuff. U-turn to annoy my opponent, and to get some free switches for my frail sweepers. It covers weaknesses very well with Heatran. Too bad its my only para/status absorber, I lost quite some games because Celebi was my last pokemon and toxic spikes crippled it.

Heatran (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 20 Atk/252 Spd/236 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Fire Blast
- Explosion

It just rapes team without Blissey/Snorlax/(Haryama/Walrein/Suicune). Luckily boom will OHKO all of them nearly every time. I am not sure about the HP though, as i seem to always have the wrong HP when fighting Swampert/Gyarados/Garchomp...

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 84 HP/216 Atk/36 Def/172 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance

The EVs generate 241 Speed for Starmie and Raikou, 352 Hp for some nice Lefties recovery and 216 Atk for the last bonus point. The Lefties have been put into Def, to save my life from Lucario and Heracross.

I would edit a Thread List, if I would find one with only the biggest threads, and not just every OU pokemon and the BL-sweepers...

I have to go study, but all I can think to say is, change your heatran movepool.

You will only ever need one exploder on any given team, so try the restalk set in the analysis (IIRC), it should complement your team nicely.

It looks as if your team may run into trouble if you faced a scarf heatran with hp electric- i'd try and put a blissey in there somewhere

I dunno, he does have resists to heatran's popular moves, he can probably outpredict his opponent. HP electric on heatran does seem a bit absurd though, as heatran ussually has HP grass for 'pert or HP ice for dragons.

Also, welcome to smogon, I guess.

DFO is right. Try Sleep Talk, Dark Pulse or Lava Plume (obvious reasons).
All you need is a good Sleep absorber & this team is a winner. 4.7/5

I consider SleepTalk on Heatran, but i want to keep the LO as it deals a lot more damage with it. I think i will keep max speed and max SATk as outspeeding the whole 270er group is very important.
I had explosion on Heatran to destroy blissey, and because exploding is fun :p

Thanks for the feedback so far

i could see choice-tar giving you trouble since nothing on your team resists it, but i guess you could outpredict the user. Also don't put hp ice on scarfless heatran, there's little point without one. Consider hp grass instead

edit: If you're having problems with stall teams consider making lucario a mixed attacker

Cb-Tar isnt giving me problems thanks to Lucario and 2 ground immunties, but the DD variant is giving me troubles. The Heatranset without boom just sucks, its just wasting turns to let Blissey come in. I will replace HP Ice with Grass though, as the dragons are faster and i cant stay in anyway...
I think I will replace Lucario as it is a glass cannon and i dont have enough free slots to cover the most important pokemon then. My team could use some wish support very well, as I lose against Stall teams if I didnt manage it to get past their walls in time.

These pokemon are giving me troubles:
~Gengar with LO, i need to outpredict it to get my own Gengar in
~DD-Tar, it outspeeds all of my pokemon but Gengar which i cannt switch in safely. Metagross deals about 70% with BP though.
~SD-Chomp with LO, it can OHKO all of my pokemon whiel gengar deals only 45% with SB. Maybe Hp Ice somewhere?
~Salamence if its the DD set and i switch in Heatranb while it dances
~Infernape with HP Electric, i have no chance unless my opponent CCs against Heatran and stays in to Gengar then.
~Metagross with Agility to some extent, as long as it has Thunderpunch
~Blissey when i dont know its set, as it can always para or tox my sweepers, so nothing but Celebi can switch in safely, and I rely on Celebi for stopping so many threats :P

My options so far:
~Putting Hp Ice on gengar instead of Focus Blast
~Replacing Lucario with some other Pokemon
~Giving Celebi Psychic instead of Rocks, then i would need anotehr rocker though
~I can change Heatrans Moveset, but it needs to be still able to beat Blissey with a one turn advantage
~changing Gyarados set to a bulkyer version with Ice Fang, EQ and Waterfall

Ok that are my problems atm^^

HP Ice on Gengar works, though Pursuit Weaviles will cause you problems then. I'd give Metagross Leftovers and Agility over Explosion, and I think HP Grass is the best option for your Heatran.

I'd take T-bolt off Gengar and replace it with HP Ice. You've already got a 100% reliable Gyara counter in Celebi, but your team might have problems with SD-chomp. Focus Blast is a must-have on Scarfgar IMO, there are just too many things that can freely switch in (Snorlax, Weavile, TTar) and pursuit you if you don't have it.

And as other people have stated, having a rest-talker is very useful. I'm a fan of rest-talk Heatran myself but there's no way that's ever beating Blissey.
