Introduction:
Welcome to the Intro Thread for Team Trials IV. In the past, the format of this tournament has been to have teams of three players face off until only one team is left. In all previous versions of the tournament, each of the three players have played DPP Ubers, OU, and UU. Now that we have entered a new generation, I have heard some comments about how it would be cool if Team Trials became a multi-gen tournament as opposed to a multi-tier tournament. In other words, the three metagames would be ADV OU, DPP OU, and BW OU instead of the current gens Uber, OU, and UU tiers. I can see where they are coming from.
That is why this thread is here. I am coming to you guys to know how it all stacks up. However, do not expect that the final results of this poll and thread to be the format of the tournament, as there is a lot more going into this decision than just the poll.

Signing Up:
There are two ways to join this tournament. The first is to have all three members of a team post, confirming they are a part of the team. The other is to sign up as a free agent for one or more tier. If a team only consists of two players, they may call on you as a free agent to join up with them. If there are still open spots for teams at the end of the sign ups, I will use free agents to make the last teams.
Since I also require that all team members confirm their membership in a certain team, I will allow members to PM me their confirmations, since in the past there has been trouble with end-of-summer vacations and the like. To do so, the person who won't be around for the actual Sign Ups should pm me the three people on the team, and what tier everyone will play. Hopefully it will be clear within a matter of days what the format will be. The remaining players should post their confirmations in the Sign Ups thread, and I will post the third player's pm as their confirmation.

Team Trials Rules:
- If a team wants to switch around the tiers each player plays, have one of the players send me a pm saying who will be playing what. These changes will take affect the round after whichever one is currently posted. If there is a disagreement about the new lineup, I will revert to what was posted here.
- Each team will be allowed one substitute throughout the entire tournament.
- Every team needs a name, right?
- And most importantly, if you were part of another team which was eliminated, regardless of if you played or not, you can't sub in for another team.
