Team at glance:
I orgiginaly intendted to make this into a rarely-seen team, but after trying it out, I had to make some switches into more common Pokémons, like Scizor and Infernape.
Team in depth:
Froslass
252Spe/252SpA/6Def
Timid
@Focus Sash
-Spikes
-Taunt
-Ice Beam
-Destiny Bond
My lead. If it is something slower Im facing, use Spikes, then on the next turn, if it is something my team easily can handle, use Spikes again, or if it isnt, Destiny Bond, to take it down.
Very effective I must say.
Infernape
252Spe/252Att/6Hp
Jolly
@Life Orb
-Swords Dance
-Thunder Punch
-Close Combat
-Fire Punch
This guy was not on my team at the start, but my other team had NO fire type attacks at all. Most Infernapes are special so this will lure in Special walls while I SD and then 1/2HKO the wall.
I have used Infernape a lot before, and I usually got walled by Gyarados, so I added Thunder Punch.
Close Combat and Fire Punch are obvious STAB choices on a SD set, right?
Scizor
252Att/248Hp/8Spe
Adamant
@Choice Band
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-Turn
- Pursuit
This guy, was like Infernape, not intended to be on my team.
Standard CB Scizor. It's so common I wont even explain it because everyone knows what it does already.
Togekiss
252Hp/252SpD/6Spe
Modest
@Leftovers
- Thunder Wave
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Aura Sphere
Ah, Togekiss, in my opinon the most underrated Pokémon of all times. It has saved me so many times. The idea is simple: Switch in on a choicebander, use Thunder Wave to hit the incomming Poke, pray its not a groundtype/Electivire and flinchhax them to death.
Magnezone
252Spe/252SpA/Attack
Timid
@Life orb
- HP Fire
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
- Explosion
My Scizor/Forretres counter.
Scizor is just too common and is annoying as hell.
Therefore I thought up this Scizor/Forretres(Spelling?) counter.
Timid nature is to outspeed Adamant Scizor, even if it runs speed EVs.
Hp Fire really owns Scizor, the rest are just filler moves, lol.
Steelix
@Bold nature
252Hp/252SpD/6Att
Sassy
@Leftovers
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Toxic
This guy is awesome. Almost always sets up Stealth Rock and is very good at inflicting Toxic on the opponent. I've even managed to pull of a Steelix sweep.
So, thats the team. If you have any suggestion, please comment :)
