Building the team
So, I was all new to Shoddy, had only created one team that failed epicly, that had a major weakness to Swampert.
I have always liked Swampert but for some reason I didnt have it in my team. So I wanted to build a team with it as my lead, so he was my obvious choice as a lead.

Later I needed a Physical sweeper that could take care of Uxie, Azelf, Gengar and other along those lines, and immediately, the oh-so overused Scizor came into my mind.

dpmfa260.png
dpmfa212.png

After Scizor, I felt like I needed another phsyical sweeper to take care of faster opponents, such as Jolteon.
After a lot of thinking, I came up with a Swordsdance - Extremespeed Lucario.

Franky suggested that I should change my Gliscor to a Zapdos, so I did because it was a really good idea.

Now I saw that two of my teammembers had a weaknes to fire and one had a weakness to grass, and needed something to counter those two types.
This was the easiest part of building the team, of course it was gonna be Heatran, as he actually benefits from Fire attacks and resists Grass.

So now, I realised that I have a really bad DD-Gyarados weakness and a significant ground weakness.
This was the hardest part of building the team.
After many days of thinking and trying out different Pokemon, I came up with the infamous Rotom-C.

So, now to the movesets.
This was actually really easy, because I had already figured out most of it while trying out different Pokémon for my team.

Swampert
@ Leftovers
Relaxed Nature
Torrent
252Hp/252Def/6SpD

-Stealth Rock
-Surf
-Icebeam
-Earthquake

Stealth Rock beeing the best move in-game, it was an obvious choice for Swampert.
Surf and Earthquake takes care of Infernape while Icebeam takes care of Dragons, such as Salamence and Dragonite.
A pretty solid starter overall.

dpmfa212.png

Scizor
@Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Technician
6Hp/252Att/252Spe

-Pursuit
-U-Turn
-Bullet Punch
-Superpower

Scizor is probably the most overused of all Pokémon and seeing a Team without it is rare, and mine is no exception.
It is a good revengekiller and can sweep through full teams if they doesnt have a Fire-type avaible.
Pursuit hits the runners, Bullet Punch 1HKO's Alakazams, Superpower hits Blisseys and Lucarios for Super Effective damage.
U-Turn is there to switch out against everything Scizor fears that is slower than him.

dpmfa448.png

Lucario
@Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Steadfast
6Hp/252Att/252Spe

-Swords Dance
-Extremespeed
-Close Combat
-Ice Punch

Ah, Lucario, every team should have one (Well most do but anyways)
If it catches someone unprepared this guy will OHKO pretty much everything that doesnt resist it after a Swords Dance or two.
Due to Lucarios imperfect speedstat, Extremespeed was a bit obvious.
Close Combat is a strong stab and hits very much for Supereffective damage.
Ice Punch takes care of Dragons, Grounds and flyings easily.

Zapdos
@ Leftovers
Bold Nature (Def+ / Atk-)
248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe

- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power Grass
- Roost

Zapdos is my 2nd counter to Gyarados, and also counters Steel types well.
HP Grass is mainly for Swamperts and Roost to ensure that I wont go down.
Thanks to Franky for suggesting this.

dpmfa485.png

Heatran
@Choice Scarf
Naive
Flash Fire
6Hp/252SpA/252Spe

-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-HP Ice
-Explosion

Heatran, the star of my team. This guy has saved me so many times.
He usually comes out in the end of the battle and uses HP Ice/Earthpower to sweep through the remaining opponents.
This guy is a nightmare to face on the Battlefield and shouldnt be taken lightly.

Fire Blast 1HKOs A LOT with Stealth Rock support and often even things that it hits for normal damage.
Earth Power 1HKOs/2HKOs pretty much everything that doesnt resist it or is immune to it.
HP Ice takes care of Ground, Flying and Dragon types wich are all very common in OU.

Rotom-C
@Leftovers
Timid
Levitiate
252Hp/168Def/88Spe

-Charge Beam
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-Hp-Fighting

Rotom-C, the special sweeper. Sub up, use Charge Beam to max out Special attack and start attacking.
Plain and simple.

Thanks to Franky for helping me with the moveset.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This team has worked well for me on Shoddy, winning about 75% of my matches.
If someone can figure out a good replacement for Gliscor (preferably with an Electric move) it would be greatly appreciated.
I have figured that Gengar would make a great addition to the team, especially as it can learn Thunderbolt.

Thanks to ThePowerWithin for the Rotom-C Sprite.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Problems:

movesets

How this fix:

First glance and there are a couple of mistakes on your EVs. First off why do you have 252 / 252 / 252 on Swampert? You'd want 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpA at a Relaxed Nature. Second, I'd really commit to Stealth Rock / Roar / Ice Beam / Earthquake. Now looking at it again, you have Stealth Rock yet again on Gliscor. I would go for Zapdos in that place, since you want an Electric attacker. You dont need two Stealth Rock users.

Zapdos
@ Leftovers
Bold Nature (Def+ / Atk-)
248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe

- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power Grass
- Roost

Lucario isn't a concern because you have Heatran around to stop it so Gliscor is ommited for this guy. Zapdos is a great physical wall due to its typing and Roost. Not much of a big change, checks Lucario, Metagross, Gyarados, Scizor and such. Heat Wave will score a KO on those Steel-tpyes mentioned except for Metagross while Hidden Power Grass will beat Swampert mainly. Roost grants you some healing per turn, and assures you wont go down.

With that being said, Rotom has no purpose will a wall set, I recommend using it as a special sweeper. This is probably the hardest to counter so conider a Rotom at a Timid Nature with the EV spread: 64 HP / 232 SpA / 212 Spe and moveset Charge Beam / Shadow Ball / Sub / HP Fighting. Basically with Sub, you can prevent Toxic from Blissey and status in general and proceed to use Charge Beam which has a 60% chance to boost your special attack. Keep doing this until your maxed out, and you can 2HKO standard blissey with hidden power fighting. When everything is largely dented, you have Lucario and Scizor to clean it up.

As for other options go, I'd for the standard CB Scizor, to scout around and generally help Lucario throw in one SD. Go for Stone Edge over Ice Punch if your going Adamant, if your going jolly always go for Ice Punch because yo can KO Gliscor and outpace it off the bat. gl with this.

I can see DD-tar holding a babiri berry (steel resist) giving you big problems (especially if swampert is KO'd early in the match), it can switch in on a heatran fire blast and DD up and sweep your team. I would work on this weakness by maybe adding a gliscor, other than that good luck. :)

Lmao I removed my Gliscor for a Zapdos :)
Also I have two Fight attacks on my team so Tyranitar is not a problem.

Tyranitar isn't a big deal, your intial switch-in is Swampert, it can take 5 unboosted Crunch's from Tyranitar. He has Scizor to back up Bullet Punch or U-turn.
