Team What the Heck?!?

What the Heck is this team?
This team is basically used for sweeping and sweeping only.
Okay, first off, I wanted a lead that would surprise the opponent, something they may not expect to see a lead. I did NOT want to have a lead that would set up any entry hazards whatsoever, which does lead to its drawbacks, but a lead that would start off a sweep right off the bat. So for my lead I chose Porygon-Z

The second thing I thought was that I would need something with a good movepool and typing to help out my lead in case of leads such as Infernape, ambipom, and even weavile. (I'll get more into this one later)

Next up, I decided to have a flincher that could take a hit.

Then I thought, maybe I should get some type of support to help togekiss set up? With Machamp's typing being fighting, I'd usually expect for it to be hit by flying type moves or even the common EQ.

Then I knew I needed something for my lead to switch in just in case Gengar was KO'd by something I couldn't predict.

And then for the final Sweep:

Lead:
474.png
@Choice Scarf
Adaptability
252 Sp. Attack 252 Speed 6 Defense
Tri-Attack
Ice Beam
T-Bolt
Dark Pulse

This is my own revamped version of the Choice Scarf set. Tri-attack is Pory's best STAB move and can be considered a great asset giving it a 20% chance to cause a status. Ice Beam provides coverage to Leads such as Aerodactyl which would generally taunt then use SR and golem which can be used to set up SR and explode. T-Bolt is there for later in the game whenever I encounter sweepers such as Gyarados or other pokes such as vaporeon, Empoleon, and Kingdra. Dark Pulse is there to take out many steel/psychic types which are commonly found on OU Teams, some of which include Bronzong, Jirachi, and Metagross which can be OHKO'd if there was an Adapatability boost for special attack.

@Choice Scarf
Rash Levitate
252 Speed
252 Sp. Attack
6 HP
Thunderbolt
Energy Ball
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast

Another "personal" revamped version of the Choice Scarf set used to help out Pory with leads such as Infernape and Weavile. While those two try to fake out my lead, I'd switch in and there'd be no effect. Choice Scarf is used to ensure Gengar does a significant amount of damage. With its typing, I can switch in to infernapes and machamps and other fighting type pokes. It can even cause significant damage to Impish skarmorys.

468.png

Calm @Leftovers Serene Grace
252 HP
252 Sp. Defense
6 Defense
Thunder Wave
Air Slash
Roost
Protect

Bulky Flinchkiss is definitely a force to be reckoned with, especially if the opposing Pokemon is paralyzed. With paralysis and Air Slash, there is only a slim, 30% chance of the foe's attack to go through. If Machamp is sent out before, It can cause confusion with DynamicPunch, which means that there will be an even slimmer chance for the opposing pokemon to attack.

68.png

Adamant @Life Orb No Guard
252 HP
252 Attack
6 Defense
Dynamic Punch
Ice Punch
Rest
Sleep Talk

Standard Sleep Talking Machamp is used to cause instant Confusion with DYnamicPunch. At that point, I may want to switch in to Togekiss to cause some Paralysis and give the opponent a slim chance to attack. Rest is used for bulk and longevity and Sleep Talk can help out with Confusion and Ice Punch provides good coverage over Celebi, Salamence, Etc.

51.png

Adamant @Focus Sash Arena Trap
252 Attack
252 Speed
6 Defense
Night Slash
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Stone Edge

Enemies laugh in the face of seeing a dugtrio in OU, thinking they can take it out in a single hit and such, then bam! Focus Sash and maxed out attack! Aerial Ace covers pokes such as Breloom which causes x8 damage (I think) due to dual super effective hits, which may do more damage than STAB earthquake. Its also a good revenge trapper, causing opponents to possibly lose pokes such as Gyarados, mismagius, and even Gengars.

130.png

Jolly Intimidate @Leftovers/Life Orb
252 Attack
252 Speed
6 Defense
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Waterfall
Earthquake

Well after even a single Dragon Dance, Gyarados can OHKO whatever is left of the other team. Waterfall is a great STAB move and the only threats that can KO this guy are electric pokes such as Magnezone which can be easily KO'd by Dugtrio.

All criticism and help is accepted and taken into consideration. Thank you for your time.

hi i'm new but i just wanted to point out that a sash on duggy wont be very smart considering he's coming in after stealth rock is layed on ur side... which will break ur sash. ur lead doesnt stop SR &u hav no rapid spinners either. give dugtrio either a band or scarf. since triple choice isnt good on any team u could try changing gengar. u said that scarf on gengar is to ensure significant damage, but scarf only helps in speed. also try trick on ur porygon-z to cripple slow pokes like swampert, meta, and champ. hope i helped. goodluck(=

It seems your team is meant to lead up to a gyarados sweep. If so, you will need to remove its common counters before attempting to sweep: Celebi and bulky waters carrying HP electric. There is a reason Gyarados is often paired with Jolteon. You can bait an electric attack meant for Gyarados for a free heal. Celebi can be dealt with Shadowball and bulky waters with Thunderbolt. Gyarados itself is fine.

On Gengar, i would replace energyball and tbolt to substitute and HP Fire. Choice scarf should be replaced with leftovers. It'll have higher longetivity and ability to eliminate scizors.

It would also be VERY helpful to have a pokemon to set up SR.

You have a ton of problems here. I have a few Changes I would like to offer. First of all Lets look at the stuff we can easily fix. Your Jolteon weakness is horrendous. This can be easily remadied though. Firstly get rid of your useless sash on Dugtrio, then put a choice scarf in its place. Now you can switch into Jolteon's, thunderbolt. Now normally, jolteon would outspeed you and instantly strike you dead with HP ice after SR damage, but now you outspeed and kill it. Next You should get something to Lure out and destroy Celebi. Your Machamp is a fine lure, but you need to destroy it now. This is why I propose you run a Choice Band T-tar. That way you can pursuit Celebi into oblivion, not to mention tyranitar is capable of defeating one of the best physical walls there is (Skarmory) with Stone edge. I see Togekiss being the least useful memeber (even though it can come in handy sometimes). So lets put it over that. As for your lead, Get a Lead Breloom so you can shut down your opponents lead and change up your Gengar set to the sub user. Here are all the sets I recommended:

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Adamant-160 HP/252 Atk/96 Spe
Stone Edge-Crunch-Pursuit-Fire Punch

Breloom @ Choice Scarf
Jolly-252 Spe/252 Atk/4 HP
Spore-Superpower-Seed Bomb-Stone Edge
Ability-Poison Heal

Gengar @ Leftovers
Timid-252 Sp.Atk/252 Spe/4 HP
Substitute/Shadow Ball/Focus Blast/Hidden Power Fire
