|Team Wishmaker| OU RMT |

Introduction
Allow me to introduce you guys to Team Wishmaker. A team based around the all ever beast CM Jirachi. This team was actually inspired when I was witnessing a battle and saw that one of the battlers had a Roserade lead and it was destroying the opponent. From their and on I decided to try out Roserade and use it at its best to make a good team. While making the team I found that I needed to find a Pokémon to base the team around so I did that with Jirachi and now everyone, I introduce you to Team Wishmaker.

Roserade (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Leaf Storm
- Sleep Powder
- Toxic Spikes
---
Rosey. My lead is pretty standard. I always try to set up Sleep Powder first. Then I set up my hopeful 2 sets of layers of Toxic Spikes. Leaf Storm gets me a strong STAB attack that I can always rely on to do some good damage usually. I chose HP Fire over Ice because there are times where this thing kills Scizors and other things that expect HP Ice like Fortress, other Roserades, and I also use it when I can't take risks on missing with Leaf Storm.

Top 10 November Leads
1. Azelf
482.png
- Against Azelf my first thoughts are to ruin it's Focus Sash so I use Leaf Storm while he hits me with a Fire Attack, Psychic, or Taunts me.
2. Metagross
376.png
- Against Metagross I use HP Fire and try to KO it with that because they usually run Lum Berry.
3. Swampert
260.png
- Leaf Storm.
4. Aerodactyl
142.png
- They are faster so I usually Leaf Storm to ruin Sash. Then KO with HP Fire when it is at 1 HP.
5. Jirachi
385.png
- They usually have Scarf so I just HP Fire to try to KO. Why bother to get Tricked a Scarf while Sleep Powdering or getting Flinch haxed to death?
6. Infernape
392.png
- It Fake Outs me so I just switch out and I try to take it down with Tran and Machamp.
7. Roserade
407.png
- I HP Fire and then set up.
8. Heatran
485.png
- I set up and switch out.
9. Smeargle
235.png
- Set up and attack.
10. Hippowdon
450.png
- Leaf Storm and set up.

jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/176 Spd/80 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
---

Here is the star of the team, Jirachi. From here my team is weak to Fire attacks. So that's why I pack Heatran. This thing is also weak to Ground attacks, so I also pack Rotom-H. This thing combined with Toxic Spikes and 101 Subs can pretty much stall down a Blissey. Thunder Bolt and Serene Grace can help with Para hax and Flash Cannon can lower Special Defense. Within a few CMs this thing is beast and can sweep good. If this thing is to fail me, I have a back up plan for it.

rotomheat.png

Rotom-h @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 64 HP/212 Spd/232 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Charge Beam
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
---

SubCharge Rotom. Ground attacks from Heatran, Lucario, and Jirachi are aimed to this guy. Pretty much the same as Jirachi just a bit more frail and doesn't raise it's Special Defense. If I set up 2 layers on Toxic Spikes this thing can sometimes take down a Blissey by raising it's Special Attack and attacking with Hidden Power Fighting. Shadow Ball is for STAB and gets good damage on some Pokémon.

machamp.png

Machamp (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/160 Atk/96 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dynamicpunch
- Substitute
- Ice Punch
- Payback
---

Now I realize that my team is dangerously Tyranitar weak. So I pack this beast to prevent that. Machamp has decent HP and Defenses to survive hits from both Physical and Special ways. Substitute helps it be safe and hit my opponent which will most likely outspeed Machamp. Dynamicpunch with No Guard is good for confusion. Ice Punch is here because it can sometimes freeze Pokémon :P and sometimes help me with a prediction however I am considering Stone Edge over Ice Punch due to never missing and high critical hit ratio. Payback hits Psychic and Ghost Pokémon for double the damage.

heatran.png

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
---

Half of my team is Fire weak, yes. So here comes the guy who says "Where's the Fire?" and takes it in. ScarfTran can be a pretty good revenge killer. I chose Flamethrower because I don't want to take risks with Fire Blast. Earth Power is here to KO opposing Heatrans who lose to a speed tie. HP Ice is here to kill Mence but I am considering HP Electric for Gyarados and because ScarfGon outspeeds ScarfTran so HP Ice only helps for Mence.

lucario.png

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Extremespeed
- Swords Dance
---

The second star of the show, Lucario. Weak to Fighting attacks, Rotom-H. Weak to Ground attacks, Rotom-H. Weak to Fire attacks, Heatran. Got it covered for this guy right? Whenever I fail to get my 2 layers of Toxic Spikes and can't preform a Jirachi sweep, I go to this guy to hit hard from the Physical spectrum. After a Swords Dance, Lucario becomes really beastly and has a priority move and powerful attacks to hit everything in the metagame.

Threat list

I would replace SubCharge Rotom with a ScarfTrick set. This then allows you to change your Heatran set to a supporting set and get access to Stealth Rock, which is more useful in general than Toxic Spikes (Toxic Spikes is a counter for particular threats to setting up Jirachi).

Just a small nitpick, but you might want to run Stone Edge on Machamp to better take care of Gyarados who you have trouble with. For infernape, you might want to put in gyarados, over lucario, making it bulky to take fire/ground hits for jirachi and give it DD to act as a back up sweeper.

I'd actually run HP Ice on Roserade for a few reasons. You don't lose the speed IV, so you beat opposing Roserades. Nextly, Salamence love to try and set up on Roserade, since HP Ice is kind of uncommon. HP Fire is really only hitting Scizor, and you already have two answers to it in Heatran and Rotom. HP Fire doesn't do much to the really bulky steels like Metagross anyway.

Next, I'd run a bulkier spread on Jirachi with Wish over Substitute. Currently, nothing on your team can heal, so this will enable Jirachi to pass valuable Wishes to its teammates. I'd run a spread of 252 HP, 252 Def, and 6 Spe Bold. This spread will let you have an easier time setting up against stuff like Tyranitar, as well as being able to make a decent check to Gyarados, which your team has problems with. I hope this helps, and good luck with the team!

PS to the guy who posted above me. Nothing on his team reliably takes Gliscor, so it acts as a lure to take it out. Without Ice Punch, Gliscor would pose significant problems. Gliscor completely shuts down Jirachi, Lucario, and Roserade if it doesn't run HP Ice. The only way he's touching it is with revenging it with Heatran, and hitting it with Shadow Ball with Rotom.
