Introduction
As you can see, this is my first RMT so please give some feedback to not only how I can improve my team but writing threads for Smogon. Now, lets get down to business. This team aims to be well rounded and just toy around with some of the new items in this generation. Some of these Pokemons made it into my team because of some awesome sets I've seen and how it has destroyed my previous teams.

In Depth
Accelgor (M) @ Bug Gem
Trait: Hydration
Evs: 4HP / 252SAtk / 252Spd
Hasty (+Spd/- Def)
- U-Turn
- Bug Buzz
- Spikes
- Focus Blast
Kicking off with the gen 5 ninja, this set mainly aims to scout the opponents strategy by looking at their first choice of Pokemon. The EVs give Accelgor max speed and sp attack, using the remaining 4 on Hp which can help him switch in and survive. With hasty nature, you can preserve the power of U-turn along with a Bug Gem boost which will put his U-turn base power at a good 236bp that can put a dent on the common leads. My team also enjoys some entry hazards so in certain circumstances, Accelgor can also abuse its speed to lay some spikes and then U-turn away. This concludes Accelgors leading role but take us to its revenge killer role. Although lacking any good priority moves, with its good 100 base sp attack and access to Focus Blast and STAB Bug Buzz, Accelgor can wrap things up later in the game with its immense speed and good sp attack as long as it is not under any damage taking statuses or STAB priority moves like ice shard.
Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Trait: Trace
Evs: 212HP / 120 Def / 176 SDef
Bold ( +Def/-Atk)
-Toxic
-Hidden Power Fire
-Conversion 2
-Recover
With the introduction of Eviolite( Non fully evolved pokemon gains 50% plus on defense and sp defense), Porygon2 shines with its role of just stalling and taking care of walls or bulky pokemons. With bold nature and 120 Def evs and 176 Sp Def, Porygon2 has both defense and sp defense at an excellent 405( Including eviolite). First up is toxic, a solution to most walls that stops my team on its track. Having good bulk( Base 85 HP) and its massive def/spdef, it is almost guarantee that it can dose the opponent with toxic. In fact, unless against stab fighting type moves, Porygon2 will never be OHKO. After poisoning the opponent, Porygon2 retaliates with HP fire along with its naturally good sp attack. HP fire can surprise opponents who think they can render Porygon2 useless by switching in steel types. However, this leaves you utterly useless against Heatran as it is immune to toxic and can happy take a raise in sp attack through flash fire. The last two slots are moves that can make Porygon2 even more defensive. With recover which is reliable and conversion 2 that prevents the opponent from spamming the same move, Porygon2 will not go down easily.
Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
Evs: 4 SpDef/ 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid ( +Spd/-Atk )
-Psyshock
-Draco Meteor
-Trick
-Surf
This set is very straightforward. The mighty Latios has moved OU and is devastatingly powerful. With its STAB Draco Meteor and choice scarf, anything that seems to nudge of your attacks can be destroyed or severely harmed with just pure massive power. And if you switched on a special wall, Psyshock can do fine in causing damage without the need of sacrificing your SAtk power. Last in the offensive section is surf which is great for coverage and can do damage to loads of pokemon. Finally, with trick, you can get rid of your choice specs to go berserk sweep no matter what type or you can use it as a final move to trap an opponent that does not benefit from an SAtk boost. With the moveset out of the way, Latios' job mainly deals with coming in and killing off threats, then leaving immediately mostly due to unwanted match up or draco meteor SAtk reduction. Therefore, Latios has great synergy with Rotom-W or Porygon2 who can switch in, take a hit and switch back out for Latios to begin its rampage.
Heatran (F) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
Evs: 4HP/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Speed
Timid (+ Spd/-Atk)
-Fire Blast
-Hidden Power Electric
-Stealth Rock
-Earthpower
This set is straightforward as well. With Air Balloon, ground moves won't be able to get you until it gets popped. That one safe turn you get is quite valuable. With a special sweeper ev spread, Heatran is a massive powerhouse, dealing damage with STAB Fire Blast or a strong Earthpower which covers nicely with Fire Blast. Afterwards, water type that tries to switch in safely or the mighty Gyarados that enjoys Dragon Dancing in front of the helpless Heatran will have to double think as this Heatran packs Hidden Power Electric. But against bulky water types like Jellicent or Milotic, don't expect to OHKO or even 2HKO any of them as this is just a move to either finish a weak pokemon off or to act as a deterrent to prevent them from switching on to Heatran. Aside from attacking, Heatran can also take opportunities to lay stealth rocks on. Heatran's job is like that of Latios but tends to enjoy staying in longer and sweep until it lures in earthquake users or fighting type which allows a free switch for Latios or Dusknoir.
Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Evs: 248 HP/ 160 Def/ 92 SAtk
Bold ( + Def/ - Atk)
-Hydro Pump
-Thunderbolt
-Pain Split
-Hidden Power Fire
With the new Electric/Water type, Rotom-W plays an effective role as a bulky water type as it only have 1 weakness. Having levitate, it makes it even easier for Rotom-W to switch it countless times taking and also delivering damage. Its STAB Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt has proven effective against many pokemons, able to destroy those who cannot resist both. To further make Rotom-W dangerous, it packs HP Fire which catches unexpected Grass types that tries to switch in. Lastly, Rotom-W uses Pain Split as a form of recovery although lacks reliability and with Rotom-W average speed with little Ev applied in that area, it takes a bit of predictions and/or luck to get a Pain Split on. Rotom-W's role is to just switch in, take hits and either deliver some or allow Latios to switch back in with the SAtk drop from Draco Meteor reseted.
Dusknoir (M) @ Custap Berry
Trait: Pressure
Ev: 252HP/ 76 Atk / 20 Def/ 160 SDef
Careful (+SDef/-SAtk)
-Skill Swap
-Shadow Punch
-Pain Split
-Thunder Punch
This Dusknoir is quite the special one (Based off a Dusknoir created by youtuber PKsparkxx), this Dusknoir aims to take advantage of your opponents abilities through the use of skill swap. Having an almost useless ability of pressure, there is no harm in giving it away in return for some better ability that can even destroy your opponents strategy. This is not only effective but extremely entertaining watching an Arcanine Flare Blitzing 'your' flash fire or a Conkeldurr holding a flame orb without its Guts. The rest of the moves are for coverage and Pain Split for recovery. The Custap Berry makes it much easier for Dusknoir to get a Pain Split on and with his bulk, he survive most of the time to activate his Custap Berry. Dusknoir mainly confuses and plays around with the opponent, stripping off their ability, sometimes forcing a switch. This makes it easy to control your opponents switches and matchup favorably which like most of the team aims to help Latios or Heatran switch in and sweep.
