Team At A Glance:

Changes are in BOLD*

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Attack/240 Spd/232 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Focus Punch
- Shadow Ball
- Hypnosis
- Substitute
Okay, what the fuck is with my spread? I kinda messed around with Gengar's standard spreads. This spread lets me beat any Non-Scarf Infernape, regardless of it being Mixed, Physical, or Special, as this hits 347 speed, where Infernape can only hit 346 when it isn't Scarfed. The other part of it that I like is that it 2HKO's 252 HP/Defense Blissey 100% of the time, except when it uses Softboiled after my first Focus Punch, which is almost making me wonder if I should use Taunt, or Hypnosis, which could save me some trouble, but sleep is very useful especially as a lead, which is one of the reasons why Bronzong is so popular, that and it learns Stealth Rocks, and has good resistances and defenses. Now the top ten leads on Shoddy Battles Official Server from June were, Bronzong, Gengar, Gyarados, Tyranitar, Azelf, Salamence, Roserade, Hippowdon, Ninjask, and Yanmega. This set outspeeds all of these besides Gengar (Max Speed), Azelf, and Ninjask barring Scarf and Speed Boost (Yanmega). Which means that all but Bronzong and Roserade are going to be crippled with sleep first turn, which makes me a happy man, as Tyranitar, Salamence, and Gyarados are three common sweepers, who have versatile sets and can put a damper on any team that isn't fully prepared. Also note this outspeeds Garchomp, so I can Hypnotize it late game, possibly ending the sweep, and allowing a free turn to switch. I'll be adding damage calc's soon, right now though, I'm figuring out the team completely.

Heatran @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 110 HP/220 Spd/180 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Alright, another kind of weird spread, this one however is justified. I didn't create the spread, all I know is my buddy Slice N' Dice gave me a team when I came back to Pokemon a month or two ago, and it worked extremely well, hitting 245 Speed, and 375 SAtk, meaning it will outspeed Tyranitar everytime, again, barring Choice Scarf, and nail it with an Earth Power, doing a very strong amount of damage factoring in Life Orb. I use this as my Celebi switch-in, as it can't get hit by it unless it carries HP Ground, which I don't see often, and hits it hard with a Fire Blast. This also counters for Jirachi and Bronzong, only Bronzong carries Earthquake occasionally, though recently I see Explosion alot of the time. Either way, this thing is a monster, I know with a couple Life Orbs I needed some healing, and this can Heal itself with the ReStalk combo. This guy is great with resistances and immunities, which helps alot, as it can come in on alot of things. This thing is bulky and gives out hits, a real tank if you ask me. I know I could use some damage calcs to prove this set, and I will as soon as I can, but I need to get this team fully built, etc. before I worry about little things like damage calcs.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 220 HP/100 SAtk/188 Speed
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Magnet Rise
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]/[Grass]
THIS IS A MAGNEZONE, NOT A MAGNETON
This set isn't all that weird, just a little different. Enough speed that it outspeeds the standard AgiliGross, so I can get up a Sub or Magnet Rise before it gets the chance to send me to hell. 220 HP gives it maximum Leftovers recovery, and is divisible by 4 for Substitute, which doesn't make a huge difference, it is just worth mentioning. This guy is used to clear the way of Bronzong, Metagross, and all those stupid steels that can tear a team up and block a sweeper, which is very frustrating. Hidden Power Ice is to hit Grasses and Flying-types, although it is hit by Thunderbolt, and not many grass-types are used anymore, besides Roserade, who can't do much damage to Heatran. But, it has the power to hit Salamence, Dragonite, and Garchomp while it still has the Sub up, which is invaluable to get rid of the Yache berry that the latter of the two carry, setting up Mamoswine to finish them off, which really helps in the end. This guy is on so many teams lately, and for a good reason. Remember, that this is a Magnezone not a Magneton, just their was a lack of Magnezone on Arkeis, and didn't feel like breaking the chain of the cool drawings, haha.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rocks
Most standard pokemon on the entire team. This guy is my main Gyarados counter, and helps me out with my Suicune problem, as well as setting up the invaluable Stealth Rocks, which help set up KO's on the team. Leech Seed and Recover allow me to stall for a little while, and he adds a water resistance, which is needed with two water weakness's on the team. This guy is an awesome switch in to Bulky waters, and allows healing for my Life Orb users. He adds synergy with the CeleTran combo. I know he isn't as offensive as the rest of the team, but I need a way to get Rocks, and heal a little bit, as well as to PHaze out Suicune with Leech Seed, and force the switch. Beware the grass fairy.

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 48 HP/252 Atk/208 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge/Earthquake
- Ice Fang
Dragon Dance Gyarados, standard set I suppose, but I like using it, and it gives me a Fire resist, and completes the resistance circle with CeleTran. My best way of stopping a rampaging Mamoswine, by intimidating it as much as possible, which seems like it doesn't work, but it surprisingly works extremely well. It also can help stop a SD Chomp after a Dance. After a Dance or two this guy is pretty hard to bring down, with massive attack and good speed for something as bulky as it is. An awesome pokemon to use, helps out the team alot and adds a couple resistances, which is always love-able. This guy is also helped out by Magnezone, as Bronzong is a pain in the ass for this guy, even with a STAB Waterfall. Awesome Pokemon, regardless of what set you use. 208 Speed EV's give it the speed to out do Scarf Tran and Base 120's after a DD.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 56 SAtk/252 Atk/200 Spe
Naive nature (+Speed, -SDef)
- Ice Shard
- Blizzard
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
The final piece of the team, Mamoswine. Takes down Salamence, Garchomp, Dragonite, and can take down a Lucario if it's used Close Combat once or twice, which is why I am still debating Life Orb, even though I have 3 of them already. Either way, this boy is a man, hitting so much crap so damn hard. If you haven't ran into one of these and been swept, your good, or they didn't use it very well. Ice Shard is priority which helps out with its low speed. Blizzard replaced Ice Fang, for a 2HKO on Weezing and Skarmory. Earthquake is the obvious STAB move, and rightfully so, as it is only resisted by few things, and most of thsoe are hit by Ice attacks. Stone Edge to hit Gyarados, which come in to Intimidate as their last resort.
