Read This ok first off my favorite pokemon is a espeon so if u can fine a way to put it in this team plz tell me.


ok so i have been testing this team off with a tournament i made and i won it.i have made some changes and this is what i have came out with this team so please rate my team.

ok so now we will start with my lead azelf. I have never used an azelf but i wanted to see how it was and works out perfectly. About 95 percent i can put up stealth rocks. This azelf can go pretty fast and it can taunt most pokemon who want to use sunny day, hail, rain dance, trick, trick room etc... i have psychic for a sp att and when im about to die i use explosion

Ok so now is my heatran who has help me through alot not just with this team but with all my other teams. The first time i started to play shoddy i had a team with a heatran similar to this one butnoe i have life orb and not scarf. I chose life orb because it is better and scarftran really messed me up. So i tried life orb and is sooooooooo much better. People think its scarfed but not so it can deal alot of damage. With hp ice it can kill all flying types. Then off course bug and grass. It also helps my celebi out to.

My flygon is one of the most common flygons out there so there is really nothing to say just that it helps my emopleon with t-bolt and heatran with ground moves

Empoleon (M) @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Spd/4 SpDef/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SpAtk, -Atk)
- Agility
- Substitute
- Hydro pump
- Ice beam

Empoleonis another common move sets but i will still tell u about it. So now this empoleon is one of my favorite pokemon i used it along time ago in pearl. So i just subsitue until i have it set up with out it fading i used agility. Just with one agility it can go faster than most pokemon. If i have the time i use agility one more time. Then i use surf or grass knot depending if my sub it up or not. If it is not up i keep on using it till it reaches i believe 25 percent or lower petaya berry activates so it raises sp att the with the torrent it boost the water types so surf is more powerful and grass knot is alittle powerful to take down water

Ok so now instead of a bulky celebi i have an offesive celebi with a choice scarf and alot of people dont expect it. I dont think i have seen a celebi with this movesets but people probably have this moveset. Anyways leaf storm can take care of ground rock and water psychic can take care of ghost poison and psychic earth power can take care of some fighting pokemon and ground moves and hp ice can help me with flying and dragon pokemon. So it helps me alot the thing is i just thought of something that it doesnt have any moves to stop steels so yah

yo, sup with Lonely Nature on Kingdra and Empoleon? Adamant and Modest respectively if you want to keep running the same set. Flamethrower over Overheat on Heatran since this one isn't hit and run, and at times you can afford to stay in to do a little more damage. Maybe Substitute works better over HP Ice? since most Dragons you're going to face outspeed and kill you anyway since you're LOed. Hydro Pump works better over Surf on Empoleon since it gives you to extra kick to take out things like Salamence, etc, and Fire Blast over Flygon, since with the extra Base Power and even with Adamant Nature, it does more to Skarm and Forry and Scizor. (i think, i might need to do some calcs)
 
Alright, So on your Azelf lead there isn't much to do. I noticed that you didn't run the full 252 Atk Ev's which is ok, I guess if you do not intend of ending with a "huge" bang. I feel it would be better to add the SpAtk EV's into the Atk section and replace Psychic with Zen Headbut. Zen Headbut provides the same coverage as Psychic (as it's a Psychic type move as well) but it won't take away from the power of your Explosion, which you want to be as powerful as possible. You can then change the Nature to Jolly mostly for not lowering your already low defenses.

On your Life Orb Heatran I would not reccomend Hidden Powr [ICE] since most common flying types (Gyarados and Salamence) can come in and Earthquake you to hell. Replace it with Substitute so if you catch a Fire Attack on the switch in your Fire moves will be boosted. Speaking of Fire moves, Overheat shouldn't be used on your Heatran as two Fire Blasts deal more damage than two Overheats. Unless you don't plan on keeping him in for more than one turn than I would suggest you switch it to Fire Blast.

For Flygon your set is completly wrong. Flygon with Choice Scarf needs enough speed to out speed Zapdos and Gyarados after a Dragon Dance, something which is important since they will give your team trouble once they set up.

This set will out speed Gyarados after one Dragon Dance and OHKO with Stone Edge. U-Turn is a move that is used with scouting early game to see what your opponents do and what counters they have for Flygon, allowing you to pick them off slowly possibly setting up for a Flygon sweep endgame.

I've never given the Empoleon set a try (hypocrite right?) but Hydro Pump is needed in place of Surf as you need the power to be able to OHKO Salamence, which Surf fails to do.

Instead of Dragon Dance Kingdra, I suggest you use Scizor since he's a powerful revenge killer and only fears Fire types, which you have an answer for with Heatran and Flygon. The most common Scizor set is Life Orb Swords Dance, which can give you some check against Mamoswine who is a little short of OHKOing this entire team with Earthquake and Ice Fang. You have the ability to OHKO him with Bullet Punch though

Swords dance sweeper, a late game clean upper or an early game breaker. He really only fears Magnezone which is why I put U-Turn as an option over roost. If it's early game you can U-Turn with Scizor for a little seeing if he has a Magnezone. If he doesn't then you're in the clear, if he does then you can play around it with Flygon and Celebi.

I once ran the exact same Celebi set you are. Trainers get pissed when their Heatrans die to an Earth Power.

ok first thing is sorry about the lonely thing i guess i forgot to change there nature. ok i have tried a sub tran before with this team and failed, but i dont know if i used it right so if u have any suggestions aon movesets evs and nature and item that would be great. Then for the dd kingdra i will give it a shot to change it to scizor but i have a different evs for it because it wont die from a flamethrower from a blissy and what not. then ice time wouldnt fire punch be more better for this because its more for attack then ap att. then on my azelf empoleon ill try it and i will take all of the evs from ap att and put it on attack and i will try it out. also yah i think hydro pump is better but has less acuraccy but ill change it. empoleon also i will try that set for flygon. thanks alot i hope i didnt miss anything but i would appreciat it if u can give me the evs movesets etc... on that subtran and i will try it out thanks alot and plz more ppl rate
 
I have a suggestion regarding the SubTran set.

I used to run SubTran.

If you're struggling with a spread for your Azelf, try 200 Atk, 56 SpA, 252 Spe. Since you aren't running Fire Blast, you only need your Psychic to OHKO Gengar and Infernape, and 2HKO Aerodactyl. That is what this spread does. It also ensures you KO Hippowdon with a Psychic + Explosion, which is always helpful to let your Flygon get something done later on in the game.

You say that 'people think its scarfed' (Heatran), but I don't see how that is the case. As soon as you have used a single move your Life Orb recoil will give you away. If you want to try and feign a Scarf set that use Expert Belt. Like people have said, Fire Blast is almost always better than Overheat on all non-Specs Heatran. You will often be wanting to use another move after your Fire move, and having a slashed SpA stat won't be helping that. So go with Fire Blast or Flamethrower over Overheat.

Your Flygon wants a 80 HP, 252 Atk, 176 Spe spread. This ensures you outrun base 90 scarfed pokemon like Porygon-Z and Lucario. Your current spread is a waste of the scarf tbh as you aren't outspeeding that many things.

I'm not too sure why you have Lonely on your Empoleon and Kingdra. It is better to lower the attacking stat that you are not using rather than your defenses, so give Empoleon a Modest nature. Is this team for wifi or for Shoddy battle? I'm assuming it's for Shoddy seeing as you HPs. You need to make it so that your Empoleon has a HP stat divisible by 4 so as to activate Petaya and Torrent on the 3rd substitute. Currently, with the 4 EVs in it, it is hitting 310. You want to hit either 308 or 312. For 308 move the 4 HP EVs into SpD and give it a HP IV of 30. Or if you want to hit 312, move 12 more EVs from speed into HP. I also think you should run Ice Beam over Grass Knot as you are more vulnerable to Salamence than you are to Gyarados in general. Water/Ice has much better coverage than Water/Grass, and Grass Knot is usually only the move of choice when you are running Hydro Pump (which resisted hits for 71% of a super effective Ice Beam).

Your Kingdra wants an Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA) since you are not running any special attacks. Also, consider maybe running a Lum Berry instead of Chesto. This way, if you choose not to use Rest and go with Outrage, you will be cured of your confusion at the end of the 2-3 turns and will be able to attack again. It will still cure your sleep when you use Rest or when you are put to sleep, but it cures everything else too.

Lastly, on your Celebi, I would replace Psychic with Trick. This will let you cripple things like Blissey or Snorlax that think they can absorb all your attacks, meaning it will be all that much easier for your 3 special attackers to sweep.

Why do you have Life Orb and Substitute on Heatran with no Rapid Spinner? You are losing 35% health with 1 sub and 1 attack, then you factor in SR and finally, add a few more attacks and maybe another sub and your "super heatran" kills himself. Use an Expert Belt or Leftovers to ensure you can have a bit of survivability.

uh none of your pokemon are helping empoleon and scizor the neccesary support to win games. I mean, Zapdos rips through both of them, Celebi, Heatran, Flygon if he uses HP Ice (which he should be, I don't understand the rise in HP Grass Zapdos tbh), and Azelf is suiciding himself early eliminating him as a counter. At the very least, I would put a Blissey over Celebi with Wish + Seismic Toss + Ice Beam and then use Protect or Toxic in the last slot (depending on if Swampert and Vaporeon bother you more, in which case you would use toxic to get them out of the way, opening up both a Scizor and Empoleon sweep). Blissey can actually deal with common scizor checks/counters such as zapdos, magnezone, heatran, vaporeon, salamence (yes salamence, Ice Beam will hit for ohko with SR). Obviously you shouldn't be switching into Salamence with Blissey unless it has been confirmed to be SpecsMence but it can't switch into you either (and Scizor + Empoleon both make ... "checks" to Mence.)

Empoleon and Scizor are the stars of this team whether you know it or not and that is because they hit extremely hard on both sides of the spectrum and of course the goal you should have is to let them get their Swords Dance or Substitute.

Saying all that, I would consider using Fire Blast on Flygon over Fire Punch for Skarmory thinking you might be BandFlygon because Skarmory is a nuisance to Scizor. Back to Heatran, you may want to consider Dragon Pulse for Kingdra who interupts both Scizor and Empoleon. You do have a way to beat Vaporeon and Suicune with Blissey, Azelf, Empoleon, and Scizor providing decent checks / counters (Empoleon beats Suicune but doesnt really beat Vaporeon. Vaporeon cant do anything back though.)


 
You covered the weaknesses pretty well, with Empoleon being the ice counter and Celebi being the fighting counter. the movesets are fine and the EV and IV spread are ok, and I'm agreeing with Legacy that you should consider using that spread.
 
thanks guys but the thing is that well what i can think of my celebi is the only one that can take care of brelooms which are starting to get very common but i will trywsitching celebi for blissy i will not change it yet because i want to make sure it works and sorry i had lonely on them didnt mean for that to happen and for the heatran i am goin to try subtran not good at using it but if it does not work out the i will go back to my other heatran but i will put expert belt on it instead.
