Sludge Bomb puts pressure on targets like Hydrapple and Breloom. Flip Turn grants Tentacruel solid pivot utility, but Knock Off can allow it to remove crucial held items. The given EVs ensure Tentacruel is fast enough to outspeed Adamant Breloom while being bulky enough to prevent a 2HKO from Meowscarada's Flower Trick or Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Shadow Ball. Hisuian Samurott is a helpful teammate that serves to deal with Psychic-types like Latios and Hoopa-U while stacking hazards with Tentacruel and the team's Stealth Rock setter. Keldeo and Ogerpon-W appreciate Tentacruel's Flip Turn to safely come in against Steel-types like Gholdengo and Skarmory that otherwise switch into Tentacruel.

With incredible roll role compression and its solid ability to threaten Grass-types (it doesnt really threaten grass types by existing, maybe its better to mention :) Sinistcha and Horn Leech Pons with liq ooze)Tentacruel finds a solid position on Water teams. Liquid Ooze prevents healing from Sinistcha and the Ogerpon formes give Water teams a chance to handle these immense threats (this gets removed then) with Sludge Bomb laying on the pressure while dealing with targets like Hydrapple and Breloom. With Rapid Spin it can naturally deal with hazards while using Toxic Spikes to lay down some of its own (you can technically save space by mentioning this in the first sentence, but up to you...this feels a bit analysis-esque). Finally Flip Turn gives Tentacruel solid pivot utility but an alternative in Knock Off can allow it to remove crucial held items. With its EV spread its fast enough to outspeed Adamant Breloom while being bulky enough prevent being 2HKO by threats like Choice Scarf Meowscarada's Flower Trick or Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Shadow Ball. If one is looking to support Tentacruel, Hisuian Samurott and Greninja serve to deal with Psychic-types like Latios and Hoopa-U while Swampert can deal with Electric-types like Raging Bolt and Magnezone.(Swampert feels a bit bland, maybe mention how flip turn lets Keldeo/pon in to gholdengo / gliscor or Skarmy. Alternatively, you can separate H.Sam to pair up with Pert because E.Hazard core is op)
