Tentative Stall Team

Been testing this one out. Been working pretty well but could still use some work. Keep in mind I'm not the greatest of team makers.

Hippowdon@Leftovers
EVs:252/0/168/0/0/88
Nature: Impish
Trait: Sand Stream
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off

Traditional fat Hippowdon tank. Starts off the battle with the 2 most important things, Sandstorm and Stealth Rock. Roars away thecommon batton passers or what they pass too more often then not.

Mr.Mime@Leftovers
EVs: 252/0/0/216/0/40
Nature: Calm
Trait: Soundproof
- Teeter Dance
- Thunder Wave
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball

One of the pokes I really wanted to test out. Using a parafusion set but with shadow ball to give him a bit more spread. Feel free to offer advice on this last slot. I have reflect in mind atm.

Hariyama@Leftovers
EVs: 76/180/252/0/0/0
Nature: Impish
Trait: Thick Fat
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Whirlwind

A favourite of mine. Makes a nice ice type blocker and general tank. Phazes away threats without the need to swap back to hippowdon.

Zapdos@Leftovers
EVs:252/0/0/38/220
Nature: Calm
Trait: Pressure
- Thunderbolt
- Heat wave
- Drill Peck
- Roost

Jack of all trades, well almost. The three offensive moves give some nice coverage, particularly fond of Heatwave which my team greatly needs. Roost whenever the birdie gets low. Stalls people out with Pressure and often Toxic or Leech Seed.

Celebi@Leftovers
EVs:252/0/220/36/0/0
Nature: Bold
Trait: Natural Cure
- Leech Seed
- Grass Knot
- Psychic
- Recover

A master staller and helps the team heaps with leech seed. Testing out psychic atm over hidden power:fire just to switch it up a bit. Overall pretty straight forward Celebi. Serves as the teams only Status absorber thanks to Natural Cure.

Gastrodon@Leftovers
EVs: 252/0/128/0/0/128
Nature: Impish
Trait: Sticky Hold
- Surf
- Stockpile
- Recover
- Toxic

Having a surprising amount of fun with this one. Toxic turn one when able, stockpile up then recover damage take and start surfing. All around tank for the team.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

Honestly I would put more effort into the descriptions. Tell us about what's working, what's not. How you chose this Pokemon, what it does exactly etc.
-------------------
Since this team uses Sandstorm, why not try a Stockpile+Toxic+Recover+Earthquake Cradily instead of Gastrodon? It has much better defences in a Sandstorm and not such obvious weaknesses.

Drill Peck isn't nice on that Zapdos; I recommend replacing it with HP Grass (for Swampert and overall coverage), while giving him a Life Orb as an item for an offense that you lack.

I would like to see Thunder Wave over Psychic on Celebi, as it will help you defeat various threats like Gyarados and Kingdra. Psychic doesn't really hit anyone anyway. Move the 36 extra EVs into Speed to beat Jolly Tyranitar.

-------------------

Seriously though, Parafusion Mr.Mime and Stockpile Gastrodon in OU? I would honestly recommend lurking around the forums a bit to get a good feel of competitively viable Pokemon in the OU tier. Consider looking at some other RMTs and studying those a bit.
