Not A Bug Tera types stripped when Tera Clause is active in validator process, but not battles process

Can you give specific steps to reproduce, such as the team you used and the specific buttons you're clicking? Since this involves the whole stack of teambuilder-to-battle, the bug could be coming from any of several places.

The team I used is the one in the replay, and it just happens whenever I enter a battle. I have gone to team builder to check the team, and they all have their assigned Tera types. Here is the team: (couldn’t link for some reason.)

Interesting. PA has Terastal Clause now, so I had to challenge an alt with a custom ruleset to remove it, but when I do and use this team, all my mons have the correct Tera Type. That said, the bug has been reported by more than just you, so I'm not sure what's going on. I doubt anyone else will encounter this now with Tera Clause but I'll leave this open for a bit longer jic someone else has more info.

EDIT: It seems what happened was an admin patched the validator when Tera Clause was added without patching formats, which stripped the tera types when validating but didn't prevent tera in battle. So it was an unintended consequence of a patch but not rly a code bug
