Test of Time | (The only team I played with for a year!)

Your team is pretty good and you don't really need to change the pokemon themselves. However with Espeon, have you tried using psyshock? While it has a weaker base attack, it can help remove troublesome special walls that oppose you that you'd otherwise would need to switch out of.

Espeon is pretty much doing Latias's job ? I would replace it for Xatu, who can provide some quad fighting resistances, better healing, and U-turning as well.

Xatu Set
Check smogon;

U-turn
Heat Wave
Roost
Psychic

With Heatran, does Latias seriously need HP Fire? Could replace with sub, or if you want a bu;ky special sweeper, I would replace it for SubCM Keldeo since Xatu resist fighting types anyway, and Keldeo has better time against other CMers and Blisschansey.

I don't know what else to change, as this team really can't do much other than roar with heatran once something sets up. I would add a scarfer or some more offense, but then this would be semi-offense and I suck with stall. I got lucky with the team I made, but I really can't help you further, so this isn't a proper rate. I hope I helped nit pick a few things, GL

Fink you have a good team, I suggest you use Magnezone, Magnezone for possessing Magnet Pull can catch Steel are the biggest barriers that get in your Latias, Ferrothorn, Jirachi are caught and end up falling for Hidden Power Fire, Latias with the support Magnezone becomes easier to achieve sweepar Latias.

Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Satk / 138 Spd
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon

Hey,

Cool team, not much to suggest as you've obviously hammered out the weaknesses here. As Shurtugal said, Hidden Power [FIRE] on Latias should be replaced on Latias. As cool as it is to nail Scizor and Ferrothorn, your Heatran and Jellicent can both take on Scizor, and Ferrothorn is beaten up by Heatran and your own Scizor. I instead recommend you switch to Substitute instead. Substitute lets you avoid the status conditions that plague your current set, and can also be used to avoid U-Turns, by subbing as they switch out, giving you more opputunities to rack up Calm Minds until the point where you can comfortably sweep, free of status.

On Jellicent, Will-O-Wisp seemed slightly redundant to me. You can already spread burns with your Scald and Heatrans Lava Plume, so I didn't think it was the greatest choice in that slot. Instead, try out Toxic > Will-O-Wisp. Toxic lets you get special attackers and opposing stall based pokemon with a much more annoying status to handle, as they really don't care that much about getting burnt and can continue to annoy your team. Toxic lets you remedy that, with a more accurate and damaging status to inflict on them, which can help a lot in many situations, and can force every pokemon out quickly once the poison damage multiplier has reached too much for them to cope with.

GL with the team

great team, and I can't really give any advice but here it is:

Subcharge or even specs magnezone could hurt this team. it can come in on either a scizor locked into pursuit/bullet punch, or ferrothorn doing whatever. Spams sub and charge beam as scizor can't break its subs, and ferrothorn is hardly 8HKO ing with power whip. After, like, 6 charge beam boosts, it sweeps literally the whole team with thunderbolt except latias which is OHKOed after some boosts by hp ice. Have you not had trouble with this before?

An idea is to take away one of your steel types, or maybe give ferrothorn EQ.

IDK, if it's not bothering you I guess the team is fine.

Again, great team.
