That Which We Aren't

So, this is my first OU RMT. I use it on Showdown as my main team, and all my others are Pokebank OU, which I don't play often.

This team is not mostly based around it's Mega. It is based around GeoPass Smeargle and Aegislash.
So, without further ado, here is the team!
Not Speed (Talonflame) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Return

Not Power (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 Atk / 200 SDef / 72 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Thunder Fang
- Ice Fang
- Taunt

Not Hax (Absol) @ Scope Lens
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut

Not Sweep (Aegislash) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
- Autotomize
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
- King's Shield

Not BW Tested (Scolipede) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
- Protect
- Toxic

Not Regular (Lucario) @ Lucarionite
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Earthquake

Not Speed (Talonflame) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Return
This is for offensive power; it's Brave Bird/Flare Blitz hit very hard, and U-Turn allows it to take advantage of a predicted switch. It can threaten many Pokemon with its priority BB. I will probably remove this from the team. I am simply having a hard time thinking up a replacement.

Not Power (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 Atk / 200 SDef / 72 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Ice Fang
- Toxic
This acts as a mixed Revenge killer and wall. Poison Heal gives slow recovery and many threats are weak to Earthquake. Ice Fang is used to hit Flying types. I use Toxic on it. It checks Aegislah in its wide pool of enemies who are, as I say, checked. It can kill many threats and stall awhile. It is also my only Pokemon with any recovery. I'd like help adding something that can to the team. It is simply very annoying to opponents with ToxStall and Earthquake.

Not Hax (Absol) @ Scope Lens
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut
Absol loves new crit mechanics in Gen 6. In fact, he is the only Super Luck user to learn viable STAB crit boost moves. With Scope Luck, Night Slash and Psycho Cut always crit and do a fair amount of damage. Add priority and Fairy coverage, and unlock the full potential of Nonmega Absol! Kills most things in the metagame and has a 50% crit rate with all moves. It can hit Aegislash, Jellicent, Scizor, and Gardevoir hard with its STAB.
It gains a great new power with Gen6 AutoCrit, and likes it.

Not Sweep (Aegislash) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
- Autotomize
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
- King's Shield
Aegis's job is to sweep from Smeargle's boost. Automotize is used if locked by Protect or KS.Steel/Ghost coverage hits most threats neutrally with STAB. Weakness Policy allows for further boosts from Aegislash and others. King's Shield is used to hinder Physical attackers and change form. It can outspeed many Pokemon. It can kill most of the metagame with those two moves. Being Passed to is amazing for it, as it doubles its damage and helps it with SDef and Spd. It is the best new Poke in Gen 6 in my honest and reasonable opinion.

Not Worth (Smeargle) @ Power Herb
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Spore
- Recycle
- Geomancy
- Baton Pass
SwordsPass. Recycle is there to restore the Power Herb and avoid being locked in to Geomancy and dying. It dies easily, but survives most leads. 3-turn setup allows it to almost always pass to Aegislash. It has good speed. I will keep this on my team to pass to Aegislash and may add another sweeper to help take advantage of it. I would run Sticky Web, but all of my moves outclass it for its purposes. Spore allows for it to not get damaged(the fragile little thing.)

lucario-mega.png

Not Regular (Lucario)@ Lucarionite
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Earthquake
Finally, to the Mega! It has a 4 move banquet to be super effective against many things. It can kill Mega-Khan after it kills Aegislash, and OHKO a ridiculous number of Pokes with Close Combat, and has 80 effective BP priority in Bullet Punch. It is a very good Mega to use, especially here. It checks almost everything after it Mega Evolves and uses all of its power to good ends. I revenge kill a lot of Pokemon when they kill boosted Aegis with this. It can destroy most things in the meta.

To Replace Smeargle
Not BW Tested (Scolipede) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
- Protect
- Toxic
Passes SwordsBoost. ToxiProtect allows amazing stall as well. It can pass to anything but Aegislash well(who only exists for physical walls.)

Please give comments and rate on the team.

Ok so first of i have faced my fair share of geopass smeargles, and i am not impressed with this strategy, one of the most common leads is ferrothorn, who is immune to spore, and often packs gyroball. Another thing to question would be that you really don't need to baton pass to aegislash as when slash is played properly it can almost guarantee to give itself a boost, although i do applaud the effort to go for a special aegislash, which I'm sure has it's benefits,
on the positive side i really like that absol set and I think that it can do good things for you, if i had to make a tweak to this team, i would go for a leftovers set on a speed booster such as ninjask and give aegislash 3/4 offensive moves and let it sweep through that, anyway i hope that helps :)

Ok so I first wanted to say that the team lokes cool! One thing I would suggest is changing the aegislashes moves. It should be sacred sword, king's sheild, shadow sneak, and swords dance. He will be much more of a threat that way. Other than that I got nothing. Good luck with your team!

I am going to try out another Pokemon (Combusken) as a replacement to Smeargle.. If it works well, I'll replace Smeargle with it(which is why Smeargle is crossed out for now).

Ok i must agree that the absol set is really cool and will catch a lot of people of guard due to them thinking its mega. Next dont use combusken it was nu even with speed boost last gen for a reason it doesnt get any good stabs it has about equal defenses to smeargle and its weak to many more common things while also being slower then smeargle before a BP. Second of all you should keep using t-flame as its number 1 used for a reason and is a very good pokemon. That being said you should invest very little in speed maybe around 88 to beat other t-flame and the rest in ho so you dont die as fast to recoil/priority. Last thing is if ur using geo smeargle why not just use quiver dance its a more efficient way of doing it plus then you can use focus sash and actually take a hit.

I use Geomancy>Quiver Dance because it simply allows it to set up. If something outspeeds it, it dies either way, and can Spore either way as well. Howeveer, I will test Scolipede instead of Combusken, who doesn't work well.
