The ballad of beat up Weavile

Hello to everyone who sees this. This is my first bw2 team that I had a lot of fun using. I will admit that this team was not made carefully and just used some basic fundamentals, it didn't crash and burn and won a lot of fights, though sun teams have kicked it's ass every time and I don't know why.

Alright here it is.

Weavile@choice band
Trait: pressure
Nature: Adamant
Evs: 252 atk, 252 speed, 4 hp
Moves:
Beat up
Ice shard
Low kick
Night slash

Here is the star of the team. He is my lead and cleaner. However I don't put him in the first slot for obvious reasons. Beat up weavile is in essence the equivalant of machamp leads and puts offensive pressure immediately in the fight. It can garuntees a 2HKO on unresisted walls. Even metagross would be 3HTKOed from how much this lead move packs. However thats not all it can do. It can revenge kill techniloom thanks to ice shard. low kick is a middle finger to heatrans everywhere. Night slash is a backup stab since beat up will hit a point that it would would be useless.

Haxorus@choice scarf
Nature: jolly
Trait: mold breaker
Evs: 252 atk, 252 speed, 4 hp
Moves:
Outrage
Dual Chop
Rock slide
Earthquake

Haxorus serves as the revenge killer and late game sweeper. It is to that of a standard scarf. However rock slide is a remedy to the volcarona issue a little. I picked this bad boy over other scarfers was for the fact it can OHKO Dragonite even with multiscale.

Gengar@Life orb
Trait:levitate
Nature: timid
Evs:252 spatk, 252 speed, 4 hp
Moves:
Substitute
Pain split
shadow ball
focus blast

Sub disable was too common for my taste and a lack of semi reliable recovery was distasteful. I saw the sub split set and I fell in love with that move set. He gets the sub up. goes for an immediate kills. Then, when he gets weakened enough, he goes for pain split. He comes in and hits whenever the chance comes up.

Whimsicott@leftovers
Trait:prankster
Nature:Bold
Evs: 252 hp, 252 def, 4 spdef
Moves:
Stun spore
Substitute
Leech seed
Taunt/encore

Whimsicott is the pokemon that can troll so many teams once it gets a safe switch. It is ridiculous at how many people ragequit from this little happy puff. Stun spore for paralysis although inaccurate. substitute for prediction ease. Leech seed since it gives it health and annoys the opponent. I can't decide between taunt and encore since I need taunt to stop entry hazards. While encore gives me a chance to bring the others in.

Quagsire@leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Trait: unaware
Evs: 252 hp, 252 def, 4 hp
Moves:
Scald
Yawn
Earthquake
Recover

Quagsire was always one of my favorite water types just because it seemed like a derp to me. However quagsire was no slouch as an annoying thing to face off since it had some unpredictability to it. I chose him as I got tired of setup sweepers raining on my day. Scald for burns. Yawn for a psuedo phazing move. recover is recover. Earthquake for stab.

Heatran@leftovers
Nature:Calm
Trait: flash fire
Evs: 248 hp, 252 spdef, 8 speed
Moves:
Stealth rock
Lava plume
Toxic
protect

I am not proud for using this as I like to avoid legendaries, however I needed a steel and fire type so heatrans typing was needed. This guy sets up rocks as well as spread poison. Protect acts as a scouting move and switch appropriately to the poke of the job. Lava plume is for stab and burns.

Okay so be hard on this team. I want this team to become a threat. Just remember the star.

Threat list

Sun teams- They pose a moderate threat for some reason. Even though I got all there angles covered they still break my team in half.

Volcarona- Assuming that haxorus gets killed off, I got nothing for this thing.

Terrakion- Choice sets in particular can tear it apart once whimsicott is out of the picture and to an extent quagsire.
