How to Generate a Pike Gauntlet
Paste the gauntlet template found in this post, and press the
BBCode Toggle button until you can see a table.
Alternately, you can make a table with the Table Tool, and then fill in the blank cells manually.
The right-most cell will hold a Boss Battle for that row. Include the Boss's sprite for clarity.
Floors 1 through 3 will have three rows, and each one will be occupied by a different Head Maid, selected at random without duplicates. Floor 4 will have only one row, for the Pike Queen.
Regardless of the Floor, the table will always have four columns.
For each row, fill in the "gauntlet" rooms leading to each Boss Battle.
For Floor 1 to 3, you'll partially pre-determinethe contents of each room at random, like so:
For the top row, you'll randomly determine the opposing Pokemon.
For the middle row, you'll randomly determine the Arena.
For the bottom row, you'll randomly determine the Reward category.
For Floor 4, you'll pre-populate all three fields for each room.
Any remaining fields are left undetermined until the challenger chooses to enter that room.
Then, for each cell, you'll determine the Pike Level (PLv) of the opponent in that room.
Each column has a higher PLv than the column before it. (From left to right.)
Depending on the current Floor number, the PLv of opponents increases:
Floor 1: The columns are PLv 1, 2, 3. The Boss column is PLv 5.
Floor 2: The columns are PLv 3, 5, 7. The Boss column is PLv 10.
Floor 3: The columns are PLv 7, 9, 11. The Boss column is PLv 15.
Floor 4: The columns are PLv 16, 18, 20. The Boss column is PLv 25.
Once all of the cells are populated and given Pike Levels, you've made the Pike Gauntlet for this Floor!
