ORAS OU The Big Dragon

So I wanted to make a team as I was searching in my Pokemon Y version looking at Pokemon,(Yeah I look at my Pokemon on my 3ds before making the team in PS I'm weird) I saw Kyurem and got an urge to make a team with Kyurem. Odd but that's how this happened. So the Kyurem in the box had a choice scarf on it so I figured eh why not make a team with it?

So of course first off I wanted to have Kyurem

Next off I wanted a sweet revenge killer Weavile can fill these purposes quite well in my opinon plus if Kyurem happens to go down or if an enemy Latios/Latias is scarfed too. I always have Weavile to threaten them out/kill them.

Next I needed something that could take hits, and set up stealth rocks but I also still wanted it to have a roll other than just that. I figured Landorus-Therian could do this. Lando-T has really a really great attack stat, while having nice base defenses so fitting him into this roll was a very easy choice.

I felt I wanted this team have a gimmick and well Zoroark is the first thing that pops into my mind when I think gimmick!

Looking through most of my team is a bunch of glass cannons so I needed a tank Ferrothorn a very generic tank who does his job well definitely fit there.

Lastly I feel as if Megas are standard so I needed one I chose Mega Pidgeot because I hadn't tried it out yet it also seemed pretty well rounded to the fighting weakness my team purposed.

Hit And Run (Zoroark) @ Life Orb
Ability: Illusion
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Extrasensory
- Focus Blast
- Flamethrower

I wanted this team to have gimmick Zoroark does an amazing job of this as his ability is really great at catching people off guard. I always put something slow in the back like Lando-T for example and when they lead with Rotom-W Dark Pulse is a good 3-4 hit KO it also catches them off guard as they go for Will-O and have to debate either taking a ton of damage on Rotom-W or switching into something else. But risk taking a lot of damage on them depending on what kind of move set I run. Focus blast is notably strong since switches into a Ferrothorn might be a Greninja. Over all he just forces a ton of questions into the other battlers head each game and has helped this team strongly.

Nyan-Kitty (Landorus-Therian) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
This spread of Lando-T makes me relatively Bulky while being able to dish out damage but at the same time being my stealth rocker. I really needed someone who could fit that roll. Because generally it isn't worth it for this team to have Lando-T lead but I still needed it if they had a Pokemon who took -50% health from rocks or if switching was going to be happening a lot so this Lando-T can be used as a bulky heavy hitter while if needed being a lead that can set up rocks.

Thorns (Ferrothorn) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Knock Off
- Protect
- Gyro Ball
Ferrothorn what I was thinking going through my team was "Well I really don't have much defensive Pokemon on this team mostly glass cannons" so what better way to remedy this than Ferrothorn? Ferrothorn serves as a tank for all physical attackers he also allows a leech seed onto the special attacks if they switch in allowing whoever I swap into to get some health back from the move they tank. Also he allows for a very good stall war versus Mandibuzz since Mandibuzz only usually run Foul play as an attack move.

Involuntary (Weavile) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off
- Taunt
Weavile an amazing revenge killer. Fake out allows for some initial damage which sometimes may even allow for a kill. Ice Shard for priority since Weavile is a revenge killer. Knock off is a nice stab dark type move and I run it over pursuit because when I am down to a battle with like a Mamoswine on the opponents team left and only my Weavile and Ferrothorn left a stab Knock off that kicks away Mamo Leftovers/Focus Sash/Life Orb is really beneficial. Taunt against leads such as Smeargle.

New Ballin (Pidgeot) @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Keen Eye
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Heat Wave
- Hurricane
- Roost
- U-turn
I needed a Mega and I hadn't used Mega Pidgeot yet. I was happy after seeing No Guard as its ability. But sad after seeing that it didn't really have that big of a move pool. But oh my god stab Hurricane that will never miss what more could you ask for? Plus a free roost on it against things that will be forced out like ferrothorn. Not to mention an extremely fast U-turn. Mega Pidgeot is really good in my eyes helps against Mega Sala tons if Weavile is dead.

Big Dragon (Kyurem) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Last but not least we have the team member who made me make this team Kyurem! Kyurem is a really good choice scarfer its move pool is amazing. Fairys don't stand a chance because I can Flash Cannon them. Draco Meteor hits just about anything really hard. Earth Power has amazing coverage on Fire, Electric, Poison, Steel, Ground. HP fire to hit things like Skarmory and Scizor. Kyurem is a power house choice scarfer. Out sped by most other choice scarfers but I feel it is worth it.

Greninja is really hard to deal with if it has HP fire and Kyurem is down.
(Still finding threats but most notably Greninja is one)

Instead of just normal Kyurem, I would suggest you run Kyurem-Black, as it is much more viable in OU. Fake Out could be switched for Low Kick, as without it, you are walled by ferrothorn and Bisharp, with only Knock Off and Ice Shard use against them.

Going to test. I appreciate the quick feed back!

Edit: I think I'd like to keep Fake out, but Low kick can be really helpful so I might get rid of taunt and just have Fake Out Low Kick Ice Shard Knock Off.

Also Kyurem black is pretty good with that same moveset and its got some bulk.

Thanks for these suggestions I am going to use them!

Hey there, Jugawatt, nice looking team you have here. Your team seems quite weak to the standard Dragon Dance / Substitute / Roost / Return set that Mega Salamence likes to run. It is just so bulky that the only thing on your team that KOes it in one hit is Kyurem, and if it uses Dragon Dance it can outspeed and OHKO Kyurem, and then proceed to sweep the entire team since nothing is not 2HKOed by a +1 Return. To remedy this somewhat, I would recommend using a Skarmory on your team instead of Zoroark. Zoroark has a nice suprise factor to it, but seeing it in team preview sort of hinders its effectiveness and it isn't really contributing very much to the team. Plus, Skarmory can provide your team with a Defogger, something your team lacks, and would greatly appreciate to help Pidgeot, Kyurem, and Weavile.

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird / Toxic
Moving on, we get to Landorus-T. Landorus' moveset and EV spread could be optimized more. It appears to be the only potential Talonflame check, so a fully defensive set would be better. Additionally, I think you should move Stealth Rock to Ferrothorn and use Stone Edge in it's place so that Landorus can better handle birdspam from Talonflame, Pinsir (which is relatively uncommon but still should be accounted for), and opposing Pidgeot.

landoge (Landorus-Therian) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish
Nature
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
For Ferrothorn, like I said before, I think you should use Stealth Rock this in place of Knock Off, which isn't really needed. Additionally, a fully defensive spread isn't necessary since Ferrothorn appreciates some Special bulk as well. Oh, and Leftovers or Shed Shell are more useful than Rocky Helmet, since passive recovery is nice and trappers are really strong in this meta, respectively.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers / Shed Shell
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Gyro Ball
As for your Greninja problem, everyone has the same problem, unfortunately. Greninja is just so strong because it has such good coverage. You just gotta hope that it doesn't have the move that your team is weak to, and if it does you have to find a way to play around it. :/

Anyway, I hope you consider my recommendations and that I helped you out. :)
I really appreciate the time you have put into rating my team and giving recommendations and I will be testing each and every part of it thank you!
