The Colors of Gen I, The Power of Gen V!

Hello Smogon! ShadowSpeedRider89 here with another team. It's been two months since Team Oddballs was posted to the forums, and you guys helped make it a fierce battling team to be sure. I thought of this team and started testing it with some degree of success, but I was hoping you guys could help make this one better. The color scheme theme was purely accidental.

Here's the team, at a glance:

One thing to note is that I don't have a strict lead, per say. Chansey, Tentacruel and Bronzong have all served as the team's lead at one point, each of them doing it somewhat well.
Now for the up-close and personal look, shall we?

Lead #1/Healer: GreenEggz (Chansey)@Evolite
Spr_b_5b_113_s.png

Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/252 Defense/ 4 Special Defense
Moves:
Wish
Protect
Stealth Rock
Seismic Toss

Synergy with the rest of the team:
Protect scouts my opponent's moves, allowing me to possibly make a proper switch. Wish lets me heal any of GreenEggz's teammates to help them carry out their duties more easily. Stealth Rock, the odd move of the bunch, has actually been very useful. Passive damage for my three damage-dealers is always nice. Seismic Toss lets GreenEggz deal damage and not be total Taunt bait. Natural Cure is an amazing ability for a bulky offense team - it allows GreenEggz to serve as a status absorber when the opponent is likely to use Thunder Wave, Toxic or Will-O-Wisp.

Type Weaknesses:
Fighting: Resisted by Yellow (Latias) and GreenJelly (Tentacruel)

Lead #2/Dual-Screener: Greenbell (Bronzong)@Light Clay
Spr_b_5b_437_s.png

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/204 Defense/52 Special Defense
Moves:
Reflect
Light Screen
Hypnosis
Gyro Ball

Synergy with the rest of the team:
Extended Reflect and Light Screen support is more than welcome, as it lets Red, Blue and Yellow set up more easily. Hypnosis can put key members of the opponent's team to sleep, allowing easier screen setup. Gyro Ball, thanks to GreenBell's awful speed, does decent damage even without any investment in attack. It's mainly there for STAB and to not be Taunt bait.

Type Weaknesses:
Fire: Resisted by Yellow (Latias) and GreenJelly (Tentacruel)

Lead #3/Toxic Spiker and Spinner: GreenJelly (Tentacruel)@Black Sludge
Spr_b_5b_073_s.png

Ability: Liquid Ooze
Nature: Bold
EVs: 36 HP/252 Defense/16 Special Attack/204 Special Defense
Moves:
Toxic Spikes
Surf
Hail
Rapid Spin

Synergy with the rest of the team:
GreenJelly returns after serving as Team Oddballs' expert status spreader, hazard clearer and anti-weather utility support Pokemon. Toxic Spikes and Rapid spin are it's main selling points, allowing it to effectively set up hazards and clear any hazard that would get in the way his teammates. Surf helps me check Infernape and Speed Boost Blaziken. Hail stops most opposing weather teams cold. Liquid Ooze as its ability makes Leech Seeders, Drain Punchers and Giga Drainers think twice about using those moves against him.

Type Weaknesses:
Ground: Yellow (Latias) is immune, GreenBell (Bronzong) is immune.
Electric: Resisted by Yellow (Latias)
Psychic: Resisted by Yellow (Latias) and GreenBell (Bronzong)

Sweeper 1: Red (Volcarona)@Leftovers
Spr_b_5b_637.png

Ability: Flame Body
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 Special Attack/252 Speed
Moves:
Quiver Dance
Fire Blast
Bug Buzz
Hidden Power (Rock)

Synergy with the rest of the team:
Volcarona also returns from Team Oddballs, bringing its bulky special sweeping prowess with it. Fire Blast is chosen over Fire Dance for more immediate power (and nabbing some OHKOs that Fire Dance couldn't.) Quiver Dance brings its Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed to very high levels, allowing Red to act as an offensive special sponge. Bug Buzz is a great STAB option to pick off Psychic-types, and Hidden Power (Rock) hits many Fire-types where it hurts. I lose super effective damage on Heatran, but being able to hit it with a neutral attack right off the bat (if it has an Air Balloon) is worth more, to me.

Type Weaknesses:
Rock: Resisted by Blue (Cobalion) and GreenBell (Bronzong)
Water: Resisted by Yellow (Latias) and GreenEggz (Tentacruel)
Flying: Resisted by GreenBell (Bronzong)

Sweeper 2: Blue (Cobalion)@Fight Gem
Spr_b_5b_638_s.png

Ability: Justified
Nature: Naive
EVs: 216 Attack/80 Special Attack/212 Speed
Moves:
Swords Dance
Sacred Sword
Stone Edge
Hidden Power (Ice)

Synergy with the rest of the team:
Blue's resistances to many types of attacks, as well as its naturally high Defense and Special Defense stats, make it a good candidate for a bulky offensive team. Swords Dance is used to double its Attack and Stone Edge hits flying types pretty hard. Sacred Sword is chosen over Close Combat to keep with the bulky offense theme. After a Swords Dance or two, Sacred Sword still hits very hard, and losing a stage of Defense and Special Defense is something Cobalion can't afford at the moment. Hidden Power (Ice) is chosen to help the team's Gliscor problem.

Type Weaknesses:
Ground: Yellow (Latias) is immune, GreenBell (Bronzong) is immune
Fire: Resisted by Yellow (Latias) and GreenJelly (Tentacruel)
Fighting: Resisted by Yellow (Latias) and GreenJelly (Tentacruel)

Sweeper 3: Yellow (Latias)@Leftovers
Spr_b_5b_380_s.png

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
EVs: 12 HP/168 Defense/176 Special Attack/56 Special Defense/96 Speed
Moves:
Calm Mind
Dragon Pulse
Surf
Recover

Synergy with the rest of the team:
Dragon Pulse and Surf provide nearly unresisted coverage. Calm Mind boosts her Special Attack and Special Defense to very high levels, and Recover combines with Leftovers to help her stay alive as long as possible. The intricate EV spread is to allow Yellow good bulk but enough speed to outpace certain threats so she can use at least one Calm Mind before needing to Recover.

Type Weaknesses:
Dragon: Resisted by Blue (Cobalion) and GreenBell (Bronzong)
Ice: Resisted by Blue (Cobalion), Red (Volcarona), GreenBell (Bronzong) and GreenJelly (Tentacruel)
Ghost: Resisted by Blue (Cobalion). GreenEggz (Chansey) is immune.
Dark: Resisted by Blue (Cobalion, who gets an Attack boost from Dark-type moves)
Bug: Resisted by Blue (Cobalion), Red (Volcarona), and GreenJelly (Tentacruel.)

Well, there's the team! Please, give it any and all critiques you can. I want it to be as good as it can be. Any suggestions are welcomed, appreciated, and will be tested. Should suggestions be tested and approved of, this post will be edited to reflect those changes.

Thanks, Smogon! ~ShadowSpeedRider89

On Volcarona, I find 252HP/4SpA/252Spe much more effective as a quiver dancer. However, this may not work for your team, as you say you like the immediate power of fire blast. I just think that being a bulky sweeper, it should aim for longlivety and consistency even if screens aren't up.

Nah, 4 HP on Volcarona would put it at an even number if I recall correctly, which means it won't be able to switch into Stealth Rock twice.

@V0x: With 252 HP EVs, Volcarona would still be at an even HP stat, meaning two Stealth Rock switch-ins would still KO it. I'll try increasing it's HP.

@min min: I'll try increasing Volcarona's HP so that it's got an odd number, so it can switch in to Stealth Rock three times. It's a dimension I've never thought of. Thanks for the tip.
