Ok. So personally I feel like my team has some strong points and is fairly decent. I like the 'mons I use and the resistances are well enough to play the switching game for about 3 turns. But I would like to know the flaws I personally don't see, and any ideas that anyone has that would make it into a more seamless team. :] ty.
Analysis:
Andy @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 S.Atk / 252 Spd.
Nature: Modest
-Surf
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
With Starmie as my lead I can counter just about any other lead. Or at least 2HKO them. Milotic and Vaporeon are the only ones that take 3HKO's. And anytime an electric pokemon comes out, Andy goes right back to his pokeball. Starmie has good coverage over 11 of 16 types, that being said, I figure that's worth the risk of running into an electric, grass, or bug lead.
Trashmouth @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Def., 252 S.Def.
Nature: Careful
-Crunch
-Rock Slide
-Fire Punch
-Roar
As a whole, Tyranitar doesn't do much besides set up SS and Excadrill. But placing EVs in def & s.def. allows him to take most hits and live, air balloon allows him 1 to 2 more turns against an earthquake spammer. Tyranitar provides coverage for some of Starmie's weaknesses and provides fire coverage for the rest, as well as setting up SS for some of my party.
Thanatos @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 160 HP, 96 Atk, 160 S.def.
Nature: Adamant
-Dragon Tail
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-X-Scissor
Being built to be a sweeper, it's exactly why I use Haxorus. He's quick and strong. Doesn't have to think too much. With the Choice Scarf he's ensured the outspeed any other dragons and most ice & steel moves. Haxorus was really just a random pick. I like dragons and he was a weak pick :/
Titan @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk., 252 Spd.
Nature: Jolly
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Frustration
-Swords Dance
Excadrill is great but I don't like to use him. He takes the fun out of it, if I'm really desperate I'll pull him out. But most of the time he has trouble with Gliscor. I'm also not sure if I should give him an Air Balloon, or keep the LO on him. Personally I love this new gen. Sandslash. His typing is great and the rest of the team can clear the way for him to use his swift speed to wipe out a team.
Phetus @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def., 4 S.def.
Nature: Bold
-Recover
-Calm Mind
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
My counter-counter, he's so amazing. Can take a few hits, recover, and calm mind to sweep. The set he has has worked well for me but I know there's something I'm missing. Reuniculus is my weather, status inducing, and set-up hazard chew toy. He's unaffected by any of it so I keep him.
Whacky Wailing Inflatable Arm Tube Man @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 180 HP / 76 Def. / 252 S.Def.
Nature: Relaxed
-Thunder Wave
-Leech Seed
-Stealth Rock
-Protect
And Ferrothorn is Ferrothorn. With a gaping fire weakness.
So altogether that's my current team. It's seen some pretty epic fights and some nice war stories. The main threats i see myself running into would be Gliscor, Metagross, Cresselia, and Genesect. Just to name a few.
