The Counter OU Team (Edited) RMT Please!

The Counter (OU All-Purpose)

Hello, I've been slowly trying to make a solid team that can, for the most part, do pretty well any kind of team, so it's an all purpose team that should be able to cover the basics along with an exceptional strategy. I'm still fairly new to the Smogon Community and need as much help as I can. Note that I attempted to mix up some of the movesets Smogon's Dex has to offer. Would like some suggestions, rates, etc. Thank you.

Navi (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SDef / 32 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Substitute
- Iron Head
- Wish

This is my speed haxing Jirachi with the exception of SubWish for both self and teamhealing, since my team for the most part doesn't have straight forward heals. Jirachi can pull a wish off with its bulk gives my team more survivability. I do not completely depend on Wish though. Substitute is a great way to stall, wish, and plain get on people's nerves.

Arcanine-anime.jpg

Tyson (Arcanine) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- ExtremeSpeed
- Morning Sun

Yes, Arcanine is in a lower tier, but so far I've made very good progress in the OU tier. Arcanine makes a great revenge killer with his above average speed and power. LO further enhances the new toy, Close Combat, that can OHKO even the bulkiest of Heatrans that like to switch in on his STAB Flare Blitz, which has the potential to 2HKO bulky Gliscor and OHKO a quiver dancing Volcarona. ExtremeSpeed is his weakst move, but it spices up his ability to revenge kill any weakened threat who believes they can outspeed him (which they can, if they pack a priority move). Arcanine is pretty decent, but that doesn't hide his crippling LO damage and recoil, along with the drop in his already low defense. So I omitted Wild Charge and decided to give him Morning Sun, which heals about 25% of his HP, 50% in sun which is very common today.

ButtCheeks (Azumarill) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Atk / 44 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch

Azumarill is my Choice Bander and he utilizes it very well indeed. He also has decent bulk which can take an Outrage from a sweeping dragon, and can deliver them an OHKO-ing Ice Punch. Any of his moves, bar Superpower, can take out a stalling Gliscor, who doesn't like his STAB Aqua Jet or Waterfall, especially if he is in the rain. He is a great check to a walling Ferrothorn and can potentially do a few nice revenge kills with his Aqua Jet which is very powerful.

conkeldurr_by_spiffee-2kto.png

PuffDaddy (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Guts
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Stone Edge

Conkeldurr is already known for his ability to take physical hits thanks to his natural defensive bulk and Bulk Up which, if given the opportunity to use, can make him very hard to take down. With Jirachi's Thunder Wave, Conkeldurr is give the ability to sweep. It would be so funny if the opponent gets only one layer of T-Spikes down, because Conkeldurr gets his Guts and does not take too much crippling damage, can heal with Drain Punch, and make a great dent into a team if they are not prepared. Conk can take down a Sp.Def TTar with Mach Punch and, if Guts'd or Bulk'd, can OHKO a specially aggravating Hydreigon (kinda hypocritical because I have a Hydreigon.)

ferrothorn.png

BTS (Ferrothorn) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Protect

Ferrothorn is a great physical or even special wall with his natural bulk and pretty good typing, despite his crippling weakness to fire. All Ferrothorn has to do is switch in to a rival he can wall and lay his Stealth Rocks out for entry damage. ProtectSeed further walls and stalls those who can't break his armor. Iron Barbs will damage any physical attacker and Power Whip for Sp.Def Chansey or Blissey who can outstalled by him, with his immunity to poison alone is a great trait and Ferrothorn really is a good addition to any team.

Punk (Hydreigon) (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- U-turn

Hydreigon is my special wall breaker, and YES I gave him expert belt to bluff the specs. Those who believe my Hydreigon is locked into specs will switch in and possibly set up, but then they will be wrong, and become the laughing stock of me. Hydreigon is a great check to defensive Skarmory, a still-has-yet-to-dance Haxorus, and has good switch advantage to any threat he can outspeed. Hydreigon is pretty powerful and can take a non-STAB Ice Beam very well. He has decent bulk minus his bad typing meaning weakness to opposing Mach Punches, Infernapes in general, and X-Scissor which is becoming increasingly common.
There's always room for criticism or improvement. Please, if you can, give your best suggestion and help out as much as you can. TYVM!

Please feel free to make suggestions, comments, rates, discussions, etc. Thank You.

Your team looks decent, although an importable version would be nice so I could play with it. Your team needs some minor fixes, for example Hydreigon should be using a life orb unless your bluffing specs. Ferrothorn should run stealth rocks over spikes since SR isn't on your team anywhere else, and you shouldn't consider taunt over stone edge or payback on conkledurr unless you enjoy being walled to oblivion. I take it you like mandibuzz and thats why its on your team, but it really isn't that good. Personally I'd use sub paralysis Jirachi in its place, since your team is pretty slow and would benefit from TWave tremendously.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SDef / 32 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Substitute
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch

Its not a bad team for using 3 lower tier pokemon, but these pokemon are in lower tiers for a reason. Overall your team is too slow to be successful competitively, but it's balanced and looks pretty fun to use.
