Just as the name says,The Devastating.A great team which took me some time to make, but I still feel there are some changes that need to be made, and the upcoming 2 weeks are filled with exams at my school so I won't have enough time to work the team out. That's why I made this thread so you guys could advise it and suggest what changes could be made.

Item:Leftovers
Trait:Sand Veil
Nature:Jolly
EV's:252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
  • Taunt
  • Stealth Rock
  • Earthquake
  • Roost
My lead. The given EV's allow him to outspeed jolly Gyarados without a boost, some variants of Jirachi, and most other leads with exceptions of Azelf,Aerodactyl and a few other.I choose Toxic over U-Turn because this team consists of 4/6 pokes which enjoy being in Sandstorm, and Sandstorm combined with Toxic is simply great. For example,if I bump into Swampert which is unaffected by Sandstorm,I can simply cripple him with Toxic and switch into something else.Another good thing, his ability,Sand Veil gives him a 20% increased evasion. His only 2 weaknesses(Water and Ice) are covered up with my Starmie,so I find him as a perfect lead on this team.

Item:Babiry Berry
Trait:Sand Stream
Nature:Jolly
EV's:4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
  • Dragon Dance
  • Stone Edge
  • Crunch
  • Fire Punch
After a Dragon Dance, Tyranitar has the power of the Choice Band set, speed of the Choice Scarf set, and the ability to change moves. On top of that, Tyranitar's excellent bulk and potential to pose an immediate threat makes it easy to set up a Dragon Dance. This set allows him to beat his greatest counter - Scizor. With D-Dance to boost Atk and Spe,Babiry Berry to lower the damage from Bullet Punch and BAM,Fire Punch Scizor in his face. The same thing goes for Foretress. With 2 powerful STAB attacks this Tyranitar is able to
destroy offensive based teams with ease. His x4 Fighting weakness is solved by switching into Gliscor or Gengar, which makes Fighting moves useless.Skarmory will also take significant damage from a Fire Punch after 1-2 Dragon Dances. The only problem is Swampert which carries powerful STAB Earthquake and Surf, but that's why I have Starmie in my team,to finish him off with STAB Hydro Pump.

Item:Choice Band
Trait:Technician
Nature:Adamant
EV's:252 Atk / 248 Hp / 8 Spe
  • Bullet Punch
  • Superpower
  • Pursuit
  • U-Turn
Choice Band Scizor's massive 591 Attack, combined with STAB U-turn and priority in the form of Technician Bullet Punch, makes it one of the best revenge killers and scouts in the entire metagame.STAB and Technician boosted Bullet Punch is the main thing in this set.It allows Scizor to take down weakened opposing sweepers.STAB U-Turn hits very hard and allow Scizor to search for his counters.Superpower OHKO's Heatran and Magnezone on switch and is the best choice for opposing Scizors.Pursuit for choiced Rotom-A and Gengar. His only weakness,Fire, is covered with Starmie. It also takes no damage from Sandstorm due to his Steel typing.

Item:Life Orb
Trait:Levitate
Nature:Timid
EV's:4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
  • Shadow Ball
  • Substitute
  • Focus Blast
  • Pain Split/HP-Fire/Toxic
Life Orb Gengar is a awesome sweeper.Shadow Ball and Focus Blast give him a great type coverage and allow to hit hard most of the metagames' top threats.Focus Blast can OHKO max HP Tyranitar, while STAB Shadow Ball destroys Starmie and deals heavy damage to other Ghost and Psyhic types and it also deals nice damage to other neutral pokes..I've chosen HP-Fire so I can hit Scizor,Foretress and Metagross for supreme damage. All Gengar's weaknesses are covered up by Tyranitar, and on the other hand, two Tyranitar's weaknesses(Fighting and Ground)are completely made useless by Gengar, although Gengar will take damage from Sandstorm and Life Orb and we can count SR too.He doesen't have big survivability. Here's where I thought of giving him Substitute instead of HP,but couldn't make a decision.Forgot to mention he's also a Rapid Spin blocker,so ussual RS-ers like Tentacruel, Foretress and Starmie can try RS-ing and get banged with HP-Fire or Thunderbolt.

Item:Choice Scarf
Trait:Levitate
Nature:Adamant
EV's:252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  • Outrage
  • Earthquake
  • U-Turn
  • Stone Edge
A new poke in my team! Thanks alot to Aerrow for suggesting it! This team would have problems with DD Gyara and Dragonite in core with Magnezone. That's why Flygon is here!Stone Edge allows Flygon to revenge kill +1 Gyarados, and can pick off a weakened Zapdos, while Outrage can KO D-Nite and deal decent damage to anything else.U-Turn is very helpful on Flygon as it can force alot of switches and get unrevealed pokemon in battle and it works well with entry hazards. He also enjoys being in T-Tar's sandstorm ^^

Item:Life Orb
Trait:Natural Cure
Nature:Timid
EV's:252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hydro Pump
  • Ice Beam
  • Rapid Spin
My last special sweeper,Starmie. With its awesome 115 base speed and 100 SpA it is a fearsome special sweeper who can clean offensive teams in late game.Hydro Pump is a awesome STAB move, which OHKO's Tyranitar,2OHKO's Swampert,Jirachi and Metagross. It can also hit hard pokes that resist Water type attacks, such as Breloom and opposing Starmie.Ice Beam hits Dragons,Celebi and Thunderbolt other bulky Water types such as Suicune and Vaporeon.Starmie is also my Rapid Spinner,it can effectively clean SR,Spikes and Toxic Spikes.Ghost types jumping into Starmie's RS will think twice since Life Orb STAB Hydro Pump OHKO's most offensive Ghost variants such as Gengar and Rotom-A.It doesen't have a big survivability either due to Sandstorm+Life Orb recoil but it can perform it's job pretty well.

ALL CHANGES MADE ON TEAM WILL BE IN RED

Your Gliscor lacks Roost, It's really recommended that you have Roost so that you can take hits and recover from them or else you'll easily be swept by something like Lucario. You don't want your Gliscor weakened. So replace Toxic for Roost.

If you want to break through stall teams, try using Sub Pain Split Gengar instead of that Gengar set. Here:

Gengar @ Life Orb -- Levitate
Nature: Timid - EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
- Substitute
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

For Blissey, there isn't much use of Aromatherapy. You have two Natural Cure Pokemon that can take status. While your Blissey and your team can benefit so much from Wish support. So I really recommend you take off Aromatherapy for Wish.

Hello, Drake. Immediately, I see that this team is going to have trouble going up against the likes of Dragon Dance Gyarados and the common DD Dragonite + Magnezone cores. While the former can easily set up on Scizor, the latter has no trouble at all setting up on Blissey, and to an extent, Gliscor before starting a sweep. In my opinion, the easiest way to help ease this problem would be to try to fit Choice Scarf Flygon somewhere on the team - preferably over Blissey, which seems to be no more than a dead weight on such an offensively orientated team. Flygon will be able to outspeed both Dragonite and Gyarados at +1 and KO them both with Outrage, and ThunderPunch, respectively. Lastly, I think that you should run a Substitute + 3 Attacks Gengar instead of the SubSplit variant as other Pokemon on your team, namely Gliscor, Scizor, and Tyranitar, do a fine job of muscling their way through stall teams without SubSplit Gengar's aid. I hope this has helped, and good luck!

Hi Aerrow and thanks for the rates.First of all.I'd like to thank you once again for noticing the weakness,I'm very busy last few weeks so as I said, couldn't work the team out.Blissey on this team was more like a sponge which would jump in an SP Atk, force a switch and toxic the incoming poke, but as you said,D-Nite can easily set up on her.I like the idea of scarfed Flygon and I'll surely try it out.And conserning Gengar, I'll see how mine variant works and then I'll try with HP Ice instead of Pain Split. Thanks again you helped alot!
