Well hello there 5th gen! Kaiba once again....well screwing the rules because I has the money.
This time it's the 5th Gen and I love me some Sandstorm. Only because...Sand is sexy. The Mega Man crew is back again and this time sand will kill all. Muhahah. Lets get to the team.
Stoneman AKA Tryanitar @ Expert Belt/Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Quiet (+SpAttk - Spe)
Evs 252 HP / 16 Atk/ 32 SpAttk/ 204 SpeDef
Moveset:
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast
Stone is my Sandstorm lead because it does job well. Especially since now you must have your weather up at all times since well you kind of need it against Sun and Rain although Drizzle + Swift Swim is now banned. Quiet nature was needed so that Sand Stream was the last thing against other opposing weather leads. Since T-tar has decent Def although not very good it was also needed to have enough Special bulk so it wouldn't get Ko'd by random BS like stab Hydro Pump from Starmie and Rotom-W.
The moveset is odd but I have a Stealth Rocker already in my team. An attacking lead seems odd but with Expert Belt but it helps against Ferrothorns and Gliscor and as well does a decent job against Reniculus although not well. Sometimes Leftovers is used only because I need SS on this team especially against Sun which is stupid.
Aquaman Aka Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid (+Spe - Attk)
Evs:4 HP/ 252 SpaAttk / 252 Spe
Moveset:
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
I never ever used Rotom-A in Gen IV, then it happened it got changed to different types. I used Rotom-H but...it kind of really sucks and then Rotom-W came around. And now it's sexy because it has one weakness and helps against rain and also against other threats. The fact is almost neutral and packs a ton of resistant. Plus not only that it learns trick! There is nothing much to say that it counters Landorus which I hate, kills Blissey with trick, Gliscor and other things that I hate.
The move set is basically a carbon copy of Gen IV except you don't get STAB on Shadow Ball and plus it was necessary since one of other pokes has WoW. Plus with Shadow Ball I don't get stuck with the fact when Reniculus comes in and trick the Choice Scarf...at least I hit with something. Plus with one weakness I can easily come in on any pokemon not named Choice Scarf Chomp because it outspeeds and I die from it.
Metalman AKA Ferrothorns @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Nature : Careful (+SpeDef - Attk)
Evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spdef
Moveset:
- Stealth Rocks
- Spikes
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip
Hollyyyy cow this thing is freaking epic, talk about a tank things thing is a tank. However....it loses to taunters like Skarmory but it is the best thing ever to be created because it laughs at any Dragon attack and sets up on them like a punk. Plus its so funny against rain and laughs at the fact their puny water attacks do nothing. The Hydro Pumps! They do nothing! Butt like just like Fortress it loses to fire which is kind of oi. However even do it does one weakness it does have a lot of good things. Easy to set up spikes and SR, decent stab plus it does well against Conkledurr and gives a decent job against Dragons unless they have a fire move.
The moves and EV spread is basically taken from the C&C thread which I have been lurking around. The EV spread was kind of simple since Ferrothorns has a better Special Defense than Defense why not make it even more bulkier? Stealth Rocks and Spikes were used because its actually legal! But leech seed and SR wasn't so that's why it was picked. Stab Gyro Ball and Power Whip is nothing to laugh at especially with no attack evs.
King Boo AKA Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability : Pressure
Nature: Bold
Evs: 252 HP/ 140 Def / 116 Spe Def
Moves:
- Calm Mind
- Will-o-Wisp
- Dark Pulse / Shadow Ball
- Rest
.....Yea this thing says FU Conkeldurr and hello Reniculus. Since it does wall those two pokemon. Also it says sup Haxorus you has burn now and pretty much useless. Why...is anyone not using Spiritomb because it absolutely just walls Reniculus. Gengar? Not so much because they disable your Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball and then your stuck with nothing. Plus CM just owns things after two CM your set because it just owns things. Also it serves as a good spinblocker yes a good spinblocker. I know the idea the of rest is kind of stupid but I hate using Pain Split because it doesn't get rid of status.
Plus as the ultimate status absorber I can finally not die from Whimscott and Stun spore does nothing. Although I know Spiritomb seems kind of out of place in this team it does job well only because it just walls stupid stuff.
Elecman Aka Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
Evs: 248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe
Moves:
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Thunder Wave / Roar / Hidden Power Ice
- Roost
Poor Zappy so long ago...you were awesome now well your just a dead weight sort of. I love this thing because it beats something that I hate Scizor and Metagross, Mangezone and pesky steels types. Although I do have a Poke that has a fire move T-tar fails against Scizor and Metagross since it outspeeds it and Zappy comes in and says Fu. Plus it does well against D-Nite since T-wave says hi to mulitscale. Although it isn't what to used to be it's still a pain in the behind. Since most use Mr. Thundurus which is faster than Zappy I hate it because it has sucky Defense and dies from Cloyster easily.
Stab T-bolt is nothing to laugh at especially since it does a heck of a lot on pokes that don't resist it. Plus it resists fighting but not rock, Heat Wave does a crap load against sun teams, T-wave makes fast sweepers seem nothing but I will switch around depending on the meta. Roost is just for healing with Mr. Thundurrus...can't heal from SR.
Drillman AkA Excadrill @ Airballon
Ability: Sand Rush
Nature : Jolly
Evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Moves:
- X-Scisscor / Return
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

I'll make this short..thing is stupid. Why did Game Freak made this pokemon? It's just dumb how SS has been from good to great, this pokemon is just like hey whats up? I'm going to sweep you and you're going to die because I have Air Ballon and now I'm going to SD and now you got swept? I hate using this thing because it's so broken I almost wish I didn't but it's too good. Why not use this thing? It's just there to say I'm the mole man dodododo.
