the guts of swellow

just thought of making a team based around swellow so here it comes:
437bronzong.gif

bronzong@leftovers
252hp/252sdef/4def
sassy nature
levitate

hidden power [grass]
earthquake
hypnosis
stealth rock

special wall, when I changed swellows item to choice band I didnt need wish support that bad anymore
+ I needed something to counter swampert and magnezone
__
462magnezone.gif

magnezone@ leftovers
modest nature
252satk/172hp/84 spe
magnet pull

thunder bolt
hidden power [ice]
rest
sleep talk

resttalker,
Covers all of swellows weaknesses.
277_Swellow.png

swellow@ choice band
jolly nature
252atk/252spe/4hp

brave bird
facade
pursuit/quick attack
u-turn

The heart of the team, the guts tactic is why I chose this little birdie.
the UU pokemon of the team aswell, witch I try to have on everyteam to surprise opononts.
facade 2HKO's swampert/40.00% - 47.14% on hippowdon/4HKO's skarmory
only type tht resits these 4 moves are steel types if I'm right
with guts activated 388.5 atack and the base power of facade will become 210.

close combat
thunder punch

mixed sweeper, psuedo boltbeam and close combat/flame thrower hits alot for super effective
not sure about the evs tho
___
Need opinions
flame me to death if you like

You might consider Ursaring over Swellow as it has a higher attack stat, and could probably inflict more damage. Also helps with your CB mamoswine weakness, which could again be hindered by putting magnet rise over T-wave or Sub on Magnezone.

this team is based around swellow... so i won't switch it to ursaring
what should i do for the CBswine weakness?

The team is not built around swellow in such away that it would fail if swellow was replaced. In fact it would function just as well, if not better. For Mamoswine, I've told you.

yea but i want swellow in it...
Slow bro would wall it fine

EDIT: surf of basic slowbro with 44 satk iv to basic mamoswine does:87.20% - 102.67% damage 1/2HKO..

EDIT2: with ursaring I have a major fighting weaknesses

It's a good team. But Garchomp like this team.
slowbro's ice beam does Damage: 93.00% - 109.52%

EDIT: max atk garchomp using outrage against slowbro: 38.28% - 45.05%
so i can take 2 hits atleast, if it isnt dead i can let maybe donphan kill it with ice shard

277_Swellow.png

swellow@ toxic/flame orb
jolly nature
252atk/252spe/4hp
guts

brave bird
facade
pursuit/quick attack
u-turn

IMO you should never use toxic/flame orb on swellow. You lose the power of CB or life orb, and its going to be your main switch in to toxic and WoW, which would render them useless, as you get statused before they can kick in. Swelly wants a life orb because you get wish support from umby. Pursuit is fun because you can revenge kill something, and not fear weezing/dusknoir switchins (i.e. BB vs pain split, then heal with wish as opposed to running.) Swellow shouldn't ever be a starter. Your opp. won't use WoW or toxic if they know swellow is waiting in the wings (lol)
___
462magnezone.gif

magnezone@ leftovers
modest nature
252satk/172hp/84 spe
magnet pull

thunder bolt
hidden power [ice]
substitute
thunder wave

What is 84 speed EV's going to outspeed? swampert? Magnezone likes magrise. Slowbro could make better use of twave. Use hp grass if slowbro doesnt carry grass knot.

Timid 252/252 spA & speed + magrise makes magnezone better at doing more than kill skarm. Life orb is nice for killing stuff. Expert belt, focus sash or shuca berry is available to sate your adventurous desires. :P
__
donphan.png

Donphan@leftovers
Impish nature
252hp/252def/6atk

Ice shard
rapid spin
earthquake
stealthrock

I love donphan. As awesome as ice shard is, stone edge is good too, especially if you use ice beam on slowbro.
__
umbreon.jpg

Umbreon@leftovers
carefull nature
252hp/252sdef

baton pass
wish
meanlook
toxic/yawn/substitute/payback

I'd go for payback. Having no attacking moves hurts sometimes.

__
relicanth.png

Relicanth@life orb
adamant nature
240hp/252atk/16def
rock head
rest
sleep talk
head smash
waterfall

the coelacanth relic! Rock head + head smash is fun! Don't forget about aqua tail > waterfall. 10 more attack for 10 accuracy.
__
80.png

Slowbro@leftovers
Bold nature
212hp/252def/44satk
slack off
surf
calm mind/ice beam
hidden power [electric]

IMO the dopey hermitcrab has better things to do than CM:

slack off
thunderwave/yawn/surf
ice beam/grass knot
surf/psychic/hp electric

surf becomes filler with relicanth around (unless the phys-spec difference is significant) and psychic is suprisingly useful on slowbro. I can't run any calcs, but I think it 2HKO's hera, who can give your team trouble.

Swellow can't switch into close combat, but can OHKO with BB. Relicanth could survive, HS might OHKO. Umby doesnt really stand a chance, but payback could save it (I don't know much about this move, soz.) Donphan does quite well against heracross compared to everyone else, and this is another reason to consider stone edge. Lucario can be trouble too, but not as much so with a ground weak. Watch out for crunch though.

Mamoswine can also pose a threat.

I like this team, keep working on it!

hmm ok
thought i already added ice beam thangs for reminding
I'l edit first post

then witch SHOULD i lead with?

hmm. would yawn/meanlook/baton pass umbreon work to kill hera?

Il check magnezones spe (thunder wave takes part in it too)

EDIT: with how much % does thunder wave lower foe's acc?

With Swellow gone every single member of your team dies a horrible death at the hands of MixNape. You might want to throw in Gyarados on your team as you have no real offensive weapons besides Swellow and Magnezone.
I suggest you throw in Gyarados over Umbreon as he takes care of Relicanth and Magnezones Fighting weakness. He also makes a great partner for Magnezone as they help each other out with their weaknesses.

ok, then i still need a special wall :S
normal bulkydos?
and umbreon really helps with wish pass

EDIT: another thing I was not sure about was not sure about is if This team is too slow maybe

Regirock or Registeel over Relicanth would work and also work well with Gyarados.
relicanth was for fire resistance/tank
and since i haent bred anything good enough to trade for good natured/ivd regi I won't be able to et it :S

EDIT: and with gyara over umbreon wont the electric weakness become to bad?

Regirock resists Fire and so does Gyarados. I could give you a copy of Regirock if you would like.
I don't have a Registeel so I won't be able to give you one of those.
The benefits of Registeel over Regirock would be the obvious higher defenses and the ability to use either Physical or Special Attacks.
Though his Special Attack pool is limited and leads to a huge predictability you get awesome moves like Ancient Power, Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt, and Focus Blast.
Egh maybe not so awesome. Still a surprise nonetheless.

edit: You have Donphan who is immune to Electric attacks and Magnezone who resists them. You could run Waccan Berry on Gyarados since most unSTABed Thunderbolts wont kill it.

Regirock and Registeel! Did you not read >=[ Regirock has an 80/200/100 Defense while Registeel has 80/150/150. If the weakness to Fire, Fighting and Ground put you off on Registeel you can go with Regirock who is weak to Ground, Fighting, Grass, and Water.

I find 100 low for a wall sorry
in sandstorm boost its high enough but I dont see sandstorm suporting this team much

EDIT: I'l think il just switch relicanth to something else that resist fire and isnt weak to fighting

EDIT: is swellow fine?? can i start breeding him?? pursuit?

made some changes to the team

bronzong>umbreon since I Did not need wish support with choice band on swellow.
and i needed a counter for swampert and magnezone

infernape>relicanth because magnezone can be a resttalker aswel and i was to slow and i needed a dark resistance

Magnezone>magnezone because i need a tank ( changed to rest talker)

now i have 2 pokemon weak to ice and 4 resisting it good enough?
